Why is trust in God's plan important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Trusting in God's plan assures believers of His ultimate goodness and purpose, even amid suffering (Jeremiah 29:11).

For Christians, trusting God's plan is foundational because it affirms that He works for our benefit and His glory. Jeremiah 29:11 illustrates this by stating, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' In difficult times, such as loss and suffering, this trust provides peace and assurance that our suffering has a purpose in God's grand design. The assurance that God controls all things encourages believers to persevere through trials, knowing that ultimately, everything will work for their good and His glory. In moments of despair, reminding ourselves of God's sovereign goodness protects our hearts from fear and doubt.
