Why is trusting Christ important for Christians?

Answered in 3 sources

Trusting Christ is essential for Christians as He is the foundation for righteousness, wisdom, and hope.

Trusting Christ is central to the Christian faith as He embodies all that believers need for salvation—righteousness, justification, wisdom, and hope. Without trust in Christ, one cannot experience true freedom from sin or gain insight into God’s will. The Scriptures affirm that apart from Christ, we are without hope, and placing our trust in Him enables us to live lives that are grounded in confidence and assurance, regardless of our circumstances.
