Why is trusting God important in conflicts?

Answered in 1 source

Trusting God allows us to respond to conflicts with faith instead of fear, showing reliance on His wisdom and sovereignty.

In times of conflict, trusting God is pivotal. Proverbs 3:5-8 encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. This means in moments of disagreement or strife, instead of reacting according to our immediate feelings or desires, we should seek to recognize God's sovereignty in our lives. Trusting in His goodness and wisdom helps us to remain calm, allowing us to reflect His character in our resolutions. When we place our confidence in Him, it showcases our faith in His plans for us and reinforces our commitment to honor Him through our actions.
