Why is trusting in God's deliverance important?

In 2 Corinthians 1:10, we are reminded of God's continual deliverance: ‘who delivered us from so great a death and doth deliver.’ Trusting in God's deliverance involves recognizing His sovereignty over our circumstances and relying on Him in moments of distress.
