Why is trusting in God's love important for Christians?

Trusting in God's love is fundamental for Christians as it underpins our relationship with Him. We are reminded that God loves us with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3) which provides comfort and hope in all life situations. Much like Mary and Martha's experience when they struggled to understand Jesus’ late arrival after Lazarus’ death, we too can find ourselves questioning God's timing and actions. Recognizing that God's love is coupled with His purpose helps to bolster our faith. His love is not merely a feeling but is demonstrated through His actions, including the sacrificial death of Jesus. Consequently, when we trust in God's love, we can have confidence that He has our best interests at heart and is working all things for our good, even when we cannot see it.
