Why is trusting in God's will important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Trusting in God's will keeps us humble and aligned with His purpose, recognizing our limitations and His sovereign control.

Trusting in God's will is vital for Christians as it acknowledges our limited understanding of life and the future. James 4:15 instructs us to say, 'If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that,' reminding us that our plans must be surrendered to God’s sovereignty. This attitude promotes humility, as we recognize that we cannot control our circumstances or the span of our lives. By submitting to God's will, we align ourselves with His purpose and experience peace, knowing that our lives are in His capable hands.
