Why is understanding our need for wholeness important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Understanding our need for wholeness is crucial as it drives us to rely on Christ for salvation and daily sustenance.

Recognizing our profound need for wholeness is vital in the life of a Christian because it fosters dependence upon Christ rather than self-reliance. As the sermon illustrates, just as the paralyzed man and the woman with the issue of blood were brought to the end of their resources, we too must realize that in our nature, we are spiritually destitute without Christ. This understanding drives us to seek His grace and mercy, and it shapes our interactions with the world, defining authentically Christian living. Without acknowledging our need, we can never truly appreciate the sufficiency of Christ's grace and the salvation He offers.
