Why is understanding the wickedness of the heart important for Christians?

Recognizing the wickedness of our hearts is crucial for Christians as it highlights our need for salvation and the grace of God. Ephesians 2:1-5 states, 'And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world...
