Why is unity in worship necessary for the church?

Answered in 1 source

Unity in worship is necessary as it reflects the body of Christ operating in harmony and glorifying God collectively.

Unity in worship is essential for the cohesive functioning of the church as the body of Christ. When believers come together to worship, they affirm their shared faith in Christ and encourage one another in their walk of faith. Ephesians 5 teaches that the outcome of being filled with the Spirit includes addressing one another through worshipful expression. This unity signifies that despite our different backgrounds and experiences, we collectively glorify God. It strengthens our bond as we remind each other of God's grace and His mighty works, aligning our hearts towards His purposes.
