Why is waiting on God's timing important in a believer's life?

Answered in 1 source

Waiting on God's timing is vital because He knows when His children are ready for spiritual maturity and harvest.

In the process of spiritual growth, just as a farmer waits for the wheat to ripen before harvest, believers are called to trust in God's timing for their lives. The Great Husbandman always ensures that His people are prepared before calling them home. This waiting should bring comfort, as it signifies God's sovereignty and wisdom in managing each believer's path to maturity. Believers may sometimes seem cut off in the midst of usefulness, but God's timing is perfect, and there is a significant purpose in every season of life. In the resurrection, the mysteries of life and death will be made clear.
