Why is worshipping Christ central to the Christian faith?

Answered in 1 source

Worshipping Christ is central because He embodies the fullness of God and our redemption through His sacrifice.

Worshipping Christ is foundational to Christian faith as He represents the fullness of the deity and the fulfillment of God’s redemptive purpose. Scripture teaches us that when we see and know Christ, we are essentially seeing God since He is the image of the invisible God (Hebrews 1:3). Our worship celebrates His loving sacrifice and the grace provided through His blood, which reconciles us to God. Thus, worship becomes an expression of thanks and acknowledgment of His sovereignty and grace as our Lord and Savior, which consistently promotes unity among believers as we acknowledge our dependence on Him.
