Worshipping Jesus is crucial for Christians because He is not only our Savior but also the embodiment of God in the flesh. In Matthew 28, after His resurrection, Jesus claimed all power in heaven and earth, indicating His divine authority. Furthermore, our worship is an acknowledgment of our belief in who He is—the Son of God who has redeemed us from sin and death. As John 14:6 states, He is the way, the truth, and the life, which means that true communion with God can only occur through Him. Therefore, directing worship to Jesus draws us into a deeper relationship with the Godhead, reinforcing our dependence on His grace and mercy.
