Why should Christians be happy?

The joy of believers stems from their intimate relationship with God, who has saved them and blessed them abundantly. In Deuteronomy 33:29, Moses declares, 'Happy art thou, O Israel, who is saved by the Lord.' This happiness is rooted in the understanding that salvation is a gift from God and involves being part of His covenant people. Furthermore, the spiritual blessings received, such as righteousness and redemption through Christ, lead to eternal contentment and joy that transcends earthly circumstances.
