Why should Christians believe in the incarnation of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Christ’s incarnation is vital because it allows God to save humanity through His real humanity.

The incarnation of Christ is a core belief for Christians as it reflects the mystery of God taking on human form to accomplish salvation. Isaiah 9:6 proclaims, 'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.' This signifies that God entered into our humanity to redeem us from sin. In Hebrews 2:16, it specifies that He took on the seed of Abraham, which underscores the necessity for Christ to have a real human nature to fulfill the demands of the law on our behalf. This act of divine love demonstrates that God understands our struggles and has provided a Savior who fully identifies with us, making His redemption personal.
