Why should Christians care about Jesus' humility?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' humility is essential as it models the selflessness and servant-heartedness that Christians are called to emulate.

Jesus' humility exemplifies the attitude and life Christians are called to imitate. Despite being the Son of God, He chose to enter the world in the most humble conditions—born in a stable and living a life of simplicity and servitude. Philippians 2:6-7 speaks of Christ, stating that He did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant. His humility in serving others, befriending sinners, and ultimately sacrificing Himself on the cross embodies the essence of servanthood that He commands His followers to embrace. By reflecting on His humility, believers are reminded to prioritize love and service over pride and self-interest, which is vital for fostering unity in the body of Christ.
