Why should Christians focus on faith in their walk with God?

Faith is the cornerstone of the Christian life, as it is through faith that we behold God's promises and affirm His covenant with us. Romans 4 points out that just as Abraham's faith was credited as righteousness, our faith in Christ establishes us as righteous before God. It is faith that enables us to trust in Christ's redemptive work and receive the grace that God freely offers. Moreover, as believers, we are called to continue in faith, which not only empowers us to live in accordance with God's will but also assures us of the security of our salvation as we remain steadfast in the truths of the Gospel.
