Why should Christians look for the mercy of God?

Christians are called to look for the mercy of God daily, acknowledging that mercy is undeserved and given freely by His grace. This ongoing awareness of needing God's mercy keeps believers humble and reliant on Him. In Jude 21, the call to look for mercy is also associated with a posture of eager anticipation for Christ's return, which offers comfort and assurance (Titus 2:13).
