Why should Christians not fear in times of trouble?

Answered in 4 sources

Christians should not fear because Jesus promises His constant presence and sovereignty over our circumstances.

In times of trouble, fear often arises from unbelief. Jesus asked the disciples, 'Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?' This response highlights that fear is a natural reaction to anxiety but can be overcome through faith in Christ. Believers are reminded in Isaiah 41:10 not to fear because God is with them, strengthening and helping them. Trusting in His presence and power allows Christians to endure storms with peace, knowing He is in control.
