Why should Christians persevere in their ministry?

Answered in 1 source

Christians should persevere in their ministry to fulfill their God-given calling and witness the fruits of their labor for the Kingdom.

Perseverance in ministry is essential for believers as it reflects faithfulness to the calling God has placed on their lives. Paul affirms this in Acts 20:24, stating, 'None of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy.' The apostle understands that the work entrusted to him is a stewardship that will be judged, as explained in 1 Corinthians 3:13-14 where our work will be tested. Persevering through trials and challenges not only demonstrates our commitment to Christ but also serves to build the church and glorify God. Thus, Christians are encouraged to remain steadfast, knowing that their labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
