Why should Christians practice prayer?

Answered in 1 source

Prayer is vital for Christians as it is the means by which we commune with God and seek His will.

Prayer remains a foundational practice for Christians because it serves as the primary way to communicate with God, aligning our hearts and minds with His purposes. Just as the apostles were devoted to prayer during their wait for the Holy Spirit in Acts 1:14, believers today are called to a similar posture of reliance on God. Neglecting prayer can lead to spiritual stagnation, while diligent prayer fosters deep intimacy with God and empowers us for our mission in sharing the Gospel and living out our faith authentically.
