Why should Christians serve others?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to serve others as a practical application of Christ's love and humility.

The sermon concludes with the call for believers to embody the same servant-heartedness that Jesus demonstrated by washing the disciples' feet. Jesus taught that no servant is greater than his master, and if He, the Lord, humbly served, then His followers too must serve others in love and humility (John 13:14-15). This act of service reflects the greater love that Christ displayed and acts as a manifestation of the gospel in action. Serving others not only meets their needs but also embodies the love of Christ in a tangible way, prompting joy and happiness within the community of faith.
