Why should Christians trust in Christ as their refuge?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the only true refuge for Christians because He provides peace and forgiveness before God's judgment.

In the face of impending judgment, the only safe haven for Christians is found in Christ. The sermon emphasizes that while people seek refuge in their religion, church membership, or good deeds, these are ultimately inadequate. True refuge lies in a personal relationship with Christ, who is described as the cornerstone laid by God. Understanding that outside of Christ we face God’s consuming fire, it becomes clear that faith in Christ leads to true peace with God and assurance of salvation.
