Why should we give glory to God in the church?

Giving glory to God in the church is essential because it acknowledges His sovereignty and our dependence on Him. Ephesians 3:21 states, 'Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages.' This reflects the heart of worship, which is centered on recognizing God's work in our lives and His role in salvation. The church, as the body of Christ, exists to declare His praises, celebrate His grace, and unify believers in worship. Our glorifying of God is an eternal response to His infinite goodness, mercy, and love. It points not to our accomplishments but to His divine grace and majesty.
