Why should we not glory in our wisdom, might, or riches?

Answered in 1 source

We should not glory in these things because they are gifts from God, not accomplishments of our own.

In Jeremiah 9:23-24, the Lord instructs us not to boast in wisdom, might, or riches. These attributes can lead to pride and self-sufficiency, but they originate from God. Instead, we are called to glory in knowing Him, acknowledging that our understanding and achievements are, in reality, reflections of His grace and gifts in our lives. This perspective keeps us humble and focused on God's sovereignty rather than our own abilities, aligning our hearts with His will and purpose.
