Why should we seek God's glory?

Answered in 1 source

Seeking God's glory aligns our hearts with His purposes and fulfills the ultimate longing of our existence.

The longing for God's glory is deeply rooted in the human soul, as reflected in Moses' plea in Exodus 33:18. When we seek God's glory, we are participating in the very purpose for which we were created. In Revelation 21:23, we see a vision of eternity where God’s glory illuminates the new heavens and earth, reinforcing that beholding His glory is our ultimate destiny. Aligning our desires with the pursuit of His glory transforms our lives and leads us to deeper intimacy with Him. As we glorify God, we not only fulfill our purpose but also deepen our joy and satisfaction in the knowing Him more fully.
