Why should we seek God's help during trials?

Answered in 1 source

We should seek God's help during trials because He is our source of strength and deliverance.

Seeking God's help in times of trials is a demonstration of faith and acknowledgment of our need for Him. Just as Jehoshaphat gathered the people to pray for help (2 Chronicles 20:4), we are called to bring our burdens before the Lord, who promises to hear us and provide assistance. Scripture teaches that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Recognizing our vulnerability helps us understand that God not only desires our prayers but actively works through them to guide and strengthen us amidst difficulties.
