Why should we trust God in difficult times?

Answered in 2 sources

Trusting God in difficult times is essential as He is sovereign and uses even hardships for our ultimate good.

Trusting God, especially during difficult moments, is a cornerstone of the Christian faith. Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good to those who love God. In times of trial, it is easy to become disheartened, but we must remember that God has not left us nor forgotten His promises. Just as David had rest from his enemies through God's providence (2 Samuel 7:1), we too can find comfort in knowing that God holds every aspect of our lives in His hands. By trusting Him, we affirm our belief in His sovereignty and His purpose, bringing peace to our hearts amid turmoil.
