Why won't people believe in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

People won't believe due to their inability, unwillingness, and often their hatred for Christ.

The reasons people reject belief in Christ are multifaceted. Firstly, they are spiritually unable to perceive the truth (Isaiah 53:1-3), as indicated in Ephesians 2:1, where it states they are dead in trespasses and sins. Secondly, there is a deliberate unwillingness to come to Christ due to their attachment to their own perceived righteousness (John 3:19-20). Lastly, many harbor a hatred for the true Christ, preferring a counterfeit Jesus that aligns with their desires and ideologies (Isaiah 53:3). Understanding these factors illuminates why the gospel can be met with such resistance.
