Turn with me to the book of Revelation
chapter 11. Revelation 11. Last time we looked at, beheld,
the church That is, those who have been sealed, set apart,
sanctified by the Spirit of God Himself, those who have been
protected, kept from judgment and God's wrath totally because
The wrath of God for them has been spewed out upon the Lord
Jesus Christ. It is not because they are sealed
and God said, I am just not going to deal with them like this.
God is just and He must deal with sin. In all men, sin is
found. But when He has sealed them,
sanctified them, He has dealt with them in the person of their
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These two witnesses we looked
at and we saw, it was revealed that they are actually the church. They are spoken of as being two
witnesses because the Lord said, in the mouth of two witnesses.
So this book of symbolism, we see that these two witnesses
are actually the church. Now, these two witnesses were
faithfully found to be preaching, and it appears as though to the
world where we ended, that is, the world of false religion. And we know this, that if false
religion is to be named, and you can describe it, it doesn't
matter what the title is on the sign outside the church. It doesn't
matter whether you call it this one, that one, the other one,
they're all referred to in this book as the great whore. That's what she is. She's just
a prostitute, a spiritual prostitute. And they hate the two witnesses,
the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we looked at where they were
appearing to the world to be dead, lying in the streets, the
great wide street that leads to destruction. And false religion
thinks that the bride, the witnesses, has been completely eradicated
from this earth. Now, this period is described
and noted as being 1,260 days before the seventh angel sounds
his trumpet That period that the church is
preaching appears as though that she's found to be dead, and it's
before that final judgment, which is actually in the 15th verse
of this chapter. So I said, all of that say this.
We're in that period now. We're in it. It's not something,
you know, people, as I've said before, they look and they said,
this revelation is going to be one of these days. you know,
this thousand-year millennium. I believe we're in it right now.
The thousand-year millennium, well, you know, I'll deal with
that later, but that's, you know. Three days, the Scripture says
that the two witnesses, three and a half days, they laid in
the streets. But I want you to notice before I go any farther,
the beautiful picture that is set forth here of these of the
witness, the church, the bride, how she laid in the street three
and a half days. What a great reminder. When they thought, she's dead,
not going to bother us anymore. Well, what do you think those
that crucified our Lord thought? What do you think they thought
when they put Him on that tree and nailed Him? They thought,
well, I took care of that. He's not going to bother us anymore.
He's dead. Oh, He's not dead. He's alive. And He's raised. And at this
time, false religion, man by nature, has this attitude in
his mind. This is all over. It's a big
joke. It doesn't matter. Let's eat
and drink and be merry, The earth actually does. We look at that,
they start having a party. It's just big jokes, all this
is, you know. We're just having fun here. Well,
one day we'll find out how much fun this all is. Well, as we continue in this
chapter, we truly are made to see the real attitude of men
that are left to themselves. Men and women left to themselves.
It's just, you know, verse 10. Let's just pick up there. And
they that dwell upon the earth, Revelation 11, 10, shall rejoice
over them and make merry and send gifts one to another because
these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. There's this second woe. And this is actually what it
is. That first woe is actually completely
characterized by the opening up. That star that fell from
heaven and was given unto him, the key to the bottomless pit,
he opened it up, smoke came out of it. That is the smoke, the
delusion of false religion. And I am absolutely convinced,
do you want to know when that came about? I'm telling you,
the moment you saw Adam sin, it happened right there. False
religion, and I'll tell you how it was manifested. It didn't
take very long, even after if we don't even consider Adam and
Eve. Look at Cain and Abel. What did
Cain actually do? When he made his sacrifice to
God, he took of the firstfruits of what he had, best he He was
going to offer an offering unto the Lord. That's what Cain did.
And he took of the fruits and vegetables, he took the best
that he had, and God didn't accept it. What is that but a man's
ability or thinking he has the ability to reconcile himself
back to God? And God will accept anything.
God's not going to accept just anything. False religion. There's the first great woe. The second great woe is going
to be, and we'll find it as we're looking right now, and what it
actually is can be summed up by this statement. The second
great woe on this earth is that God Almighty is going to give
men and women exactly what they desire as far as not hearing
the gospel. Now, there is sitting in this
congregation this morning, I'm convinced, some that just don't
really care. It's just a joke, you know. It's no big deal. Let me tell
you something. If God Almighty gives you what
you want, that is, I don't want to hear. And He allows you to
have that. Woe unto me if God gives me in
Adam what I want." This great woe, this second woe as it unfolds
and it ripens in this era, which is certainly and obviously right
now going on all around. False religion possesses a festive
spirit of oneness for each other. Scripture says they will rejoice
over them, make merry, and send gifts one to another. How quickly
do those who appear for a while to possess great differences,
how quickly they find common ground of friendship when it
comes to opposing the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm telling you, Herod
and Pilate and all those guys, they didn't like each other.
They did not like each other. The Roman government didn't like
the Jews, and the Jews didn't like them, and the governors
hated the priests and the priests. But when it came to Christ, they
got together just as quickly as they possibly could. It amazes
me how quickly false religion that says they oppose each other,
when it comes together, how they find common ground. when it comes
to the opposition of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. This
time of heresy and religious deception must come. Turn to
2 Thessalonians 2. 2 Thessalonians 2, beginning
in verse 1. We beseech you, brethren, by
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by your gathering
together unto him, that you be not soon shaken in mind or troubled
or be troubled neither by spirit, by word, by letter as from us,
as that the day of the Lord or day of Christ is at hand. Let
no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except
there come a falling away first. And that man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition, who opposes and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not that when I was
yet with you I told you these things? And now ye know what
withholdeth, that he might be revealed in his time, for the
mystery of iniquity doth already work. Only he who now letteth
will let, until he be taken out of the way, And then shall that
wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit
of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming,
even him whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all
powers and signs and lying wonders, with all deceivableness and unrighteousness
in them that perish, because they receive not the love of
the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God
shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.
that they all might be damned who believe not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness." Now, many speak of this period,
of this falling away as if it's to be led by a particular man
known as the Antichrist. They say it's going to be somebody
in particular. Now, I do not believe that this
is one person, but actually it's a spirit of rebellion that's
actually being spoken of that opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that is called God. Turn to 1 John. 1 John 2, verse
18. 1 John 2.18, little children, it
is the last time, as you have heard, that Antichrist shall
come. Even now are there many Antichrists
whereby we know that it is the last time. When we read back
in 2 Thessalonians 2 a moment ago, Paul writing under the inspiration
of the Spirit of God, reveals that it is a spirit of Antichrist
that's being held back from doing its total wicked thing. We're going to find, you know,
as we go in, as I make these statements, I think of things
that I've kind of read ahead. You know, that's just like the
period when it's talking about there will be this thousand-year
millennium period I was telling you about that I'm convinced
is right now, where it says that Satan shall be bound up for a
thousand years? It's now. He is bound. He's not doing totally what he
would like to do. He's held back. So this spirit
of Antichrist that's actually taking place is actually going
to be, the Scripture says, found to be led by a man The man of
sin. Well, somebody says, well, it
says the man of sin. The son of perdition. I looked up the word man. The
man of sin. The word man that is found there
is actually the countenance. That's what the word means. The
countenance. And it's from a word that means
to gaze at something remarkable. That's what it means. To look
at it. To gaze upon it. So this spirit
of Antichrist is actually found to be the spirit of the works
of the law by men. This is the spirit of Antichrist. That I can do something to reconcile
myself back to God. That's the spirit of anti-Christ. The spirit of Christ teaches
that we have no hope but by God's grace through the merits of the
Lord Jesus Christ and His blood. The spirit of anti-Christ says,
I can do something. I have a free will. I can accept
the Lord Jesus Christ and based on my decision, I can reconcile
myself back to God. I can tell you this, if God doesn't
deliver all of us from that thought right there, God Almighty must
justly put us in hell because we are bearing the spirit of
Antichrist. Antichrist. That spirit that
opposes God and the God, let me say this, of all grace. Well,
somebody says yes, but it's saying it's just the man of sin. Well, just like in Revelation. Turn over to Revelation 17. Revelation
17, verse 4. You see, it says the man of sin. Let me ask you this, look at
Revelation 17, and the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet
color and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having
a golden cup in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness,
and her fornication upon her forehead was the name written,
the Mystery Babylon, the mother of harlot and abominations of
the earth. Now, let me ask you this. Verse
6 goes on. I keep talking about a woman.
Let me ask you this. Was it a woman? Or was it a picture that is set
forth as a woman? A whore? A harlot? So the man
of sin, the woman, the great mystery Babylon, it's pictures. It's a type. Just like that woman
that we find in verse 4 of Revelation 17, spoken of as a great harlot,
all false religion, the man of sin is actually spoken of symbolically
as that spirit of Antichrist. You say, yeah, but over in 2
Thessalonians 2, it says, until that man of sin, the son of perdition,
be revealed. Well, turn with me to John 17. till that son of perdition be
revealed." Look at John 17. This is our Lord speaking, praying
the high priestly prayer, John 17, 12, while I was with them
in the world, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gavest
me have I kept, and none of them is lost, but who? The son of perdition. that the
Scripture might be fulfilled. So here we find if somebody wants
to say, well, there's a man, an Antichrist, he's a man, he's
called the man of sin, the son of perdition. Well, if that's
the case, and if it's one man, there's only one man that possesses
the spirit of Antichrist, then I can tell you this, if you want
to take that position, then it was Judas. But you say, well,
I thought he was going to be, no. The reason we thought that
is because it is a spirit that permeates men that is against
Christ. The Scripture says back in Revelation
11, it says, They that dwell on the earth, verse 10, shall
rejoice over them. That is, they will bid them in
their hearts farewell. and they will make merry. They will be of peaceful mind
in their own minds and send gifts, presents and offerings because
these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth. How did they torment them? What
torments a man? It's the preaching of the gospel.
The preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ that opposes all that
man by nature exhibits in that spirit of antichrist. The message of these two witnesses,
the church, the bride, the faithful preachers, their message of free
grace terrified and tormented, tossed their consciences, filling
them with rage and malice against the Lord Jesus Christ. His faithful
ones. And after three days, verse 11,
after three days and a half, the Spirit of life from God entered
into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell
upon them which saw them. Now, here we have a statement
that's made that is really the same statement that was made
in Ezekiel 37 when the Lord said He took Ezekiel, and he took
him into a valley of dry bones. And he caused him to look, and
he said, Ezekiel, can these bones live? And Ezekiel, you know,
said, Lord, you know. And he said, preach to them.
Prophesy to them. And I will cause, the Lord said,
the four winds. I'll cause the breath. to come
into them. So here it says, after three
days and a half, the Spirit of life from God entered into them. Now we behold here the power
of God that alone revives, maintains His church, the Spirit of life
in a powerful way before this world. I understand and I see it. There's times that I'm so tempted. I listen to things that men will
say and they're so disrespectful. Like I told you last week, I
heard a man that supposedly in his mind at least was praying
and it was concerning It was at a funeral, and the statement
that he said was this. He said, Lord, we don't agree
with everything You do, like the death of this, our friend. And I thought, oh! You just... How disrespectful
could someone be? But the moment that a false professor
hears someone oppose him, you know what his attitude is? I'm
just being persecuted for Jesus, you know. They're just persecuting
me. That's what they're doing. Though
to this world, the gospel appears as though that it's dead and
has no great effect as far as the world is concerned. You can
bet this. God Almighty is calling out His
people. The preaching of the Gospel,
the Lord says, My Word will not return unto Me void, but it shall
accomplish the purpose for which it sent. I can tell you based
on the authority of God's Word, every person that hears the Gospel,
that the Spirit of God blesses it and gives life to that person,
they will, as Brother Scott just read, A while ago in John 6,
37, all that the Father giveth me shall come to me. And him that comes to me, I will
in no wise cast him out. Here is the glorious wonder of
God's Word. Though the world looks and sees
the Gospel as practically dead, surely, you know, you don't think
that Katie Baptist Church, To the world's religion, a blip,
you know, in this state, Neil. Just, I mean, as I've said before,
to the world. Where's Katie? Oh, to me, when
I hear the name Katie, you know, as it applies to this church
right there, Carl, it's like a breath of fresh air to me.
Katie Baptist Church. What a blessing. What a glorious
blessing of Almighty God. that God Almighty. And I know
that the world looks and they see all of the pomp and merriment
and, you know, the healings and the giving out of all of these
prayer cloths and the miracle spring water that you can order
and stuff like that. Big deal. Big deal. What have
you got here? Well, we preach Christ and Him
crucified. The world looks at it and it's
just nothing. But I'm telling you, There where
it says in verse 11, after three days and a half, the Spirit of
life from God entered and they stood up on their feet and great
fear fell upon them which saw them. Many today mock, scorn
the preaching of the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. But as there was a time when
this message was fearfully respected, I have read of times in our past
where there appeared as though that the gospel of free grace
was the predominant message that was being preached. When the
Jonathan Edwards and the Charles Spurgeons and the Calvins and
the Zwinglis and these men that God raised up out of the Reformation
of God Almighty, and I know that it was fearfully perceived by
many. But, I know this, there appears
as though now, I'm convinced, to the world at least, that this
gospel of free grace, this message is practically gone. There's
just nothing left to it. But that time when they've seen
it, declared it, and preached it, to those that hate it appear
as though that it is nothing. There is coming a time, the scripture
sets forth, where God Himself is going to raise them up and
they will stand on their feet and great fear will fall upon
all of them that see it. They may think now that it is
no big deal, it is death. And verse 12 says, And they heard
a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And
they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld
them. Now this particular scripture,
I want to say before I make these following statements, that I
can certainly understand how that this could possess the thought
of the churches, not only the spiritual, but their actual resurrection
and ascension at the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I can
certainly understand that. And I want to be the first to
say that these statements that I make, as I've told you before,
I want to be very careful if I make a statement to do my best
by God's grace to back it up with why I believe it to be so. And if I have missed on this
particular point, I pray the Lord teach me and I'll ask you
to, you know, just forgive me and know that I'm doing the best
that I think that the Lord has taught me through these things.
So I want to say that if this is a picture of the resurrection
as far as being the ascension and meeting the Lord in the air.
For that I can understand it, but I don't think it is. I don't
think it is. Even though when we read those
words, you look at that and you say, they heard a great voice
from heaven saying, unto them come up hither. They ascended
up to heaven in a cloud and their enemies beheld them. In 1 Thessalonians
4, 17, let me just read this if you want to turn this. I've
got it written down here in my notes, but if you want to turn
there, you can. It says, Paul speaks of the second coming of
our Lord. It says, Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught up. You know, I use that scripture
to prove the point where these witnesses, though they appear
to the world to be dead, they're not dead. The Lord's gospel is
not dead. His witnesses are not dead. There's
never been a time, in time, that the Lord has not had a witness,
a preaching of His gospel, whereby He called out His own unto Himself. But the Scripture, back where
Paul is quoting that, and he said, I'm sorry, "...then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." If we stopped right
there with that Scripture and we read no further, then we would
be able to, and I can understand this, conclude that probably
Revelation 11-12 refers to this wonderful event at the second
coming of our Lord. But the last part of that verse
that Paul was setting forth in 1 Thessalonians says this. The
last part of it says, And so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Well, if this is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, if
it is, then there are some questions that I have with verses that
follow the particular passage that we're in. If the whole church
is resurrected. Those that are alive and those
that are dead in the grave are all resurrected and they're ever
with the Lord, then where are God's people? They're with Him. Okay? Well, just turn over to Revelation
14, chapter 6. Revelation 14. I'll tell you this. Let me just
read most of this 14th chapter. We'll deal with this, Lord willing,
in a few weeks. But let's just look. In Revelation
14, I looked. And lo, a lamb stood on the Mount
of Sion, and with him 144,000, having his father's name written
in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven
as the voice of many waters, as the voice of a great thunder.
I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps. They
sung, as it were, a new song before the throne and before
the four beasts and the elders. No man could learn that song
but the 144,000 which were redeemed from the earth. These are they
which were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are
they which follow the Lamb with us wherever he goeth. These were
redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and
unto the Lamb. And in their mouth was found
no guile, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Now look at verse 6, And I saw another angel fly in the midst
of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that
dwell on the earth, and to every nation and kindred and tongue
and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, give glory to
him for the hour of his judgments come, and worship him that made
heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of water. The
at this point, so far, we find that the gospel is continuing
to be set forth. Verse 9 to 12 speaks of the patience
of the saints that worship not the beast. At verse 9, the third
angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship
the beast in his image and receive his mark in his forehead or in
his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture unto the unto the cup of his
indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels, in the presence of the lamb,
and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever. And they have no rest day nor
night who worship the beast at his image, and whosoever receiveth
the mark of his name." Here is the patience of the saints. Here
are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. But especially. The one verse
that I want to come down to, I've got a couple of others here
that I'll just for the sake of time, but I want you to turn
over to Revelation 18. Revelation 18. Verse one to four. And after these things I saw
another angel come down from heaven, having great power, and
the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily
with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen and
has become the habitation of devils and the hold of every
foul spirit and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird For
all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication,
and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her,
and the merchants of the earth have waxed rich through the abundance
of her delicacies." Now look at verse 4, And I heard another
voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye
may be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her
plagues." we see in chapter 18. Truly the effectual call to God's
elect out of false religion where, if we're honest, most of us,
not all, because this has been a blessed place to have been
actually many of you here, I'm sure grew up here, born and grew
up hearing a faithful preacher of the gospel. but from myself
and I'm sure maybe some of you. The Lord Himself called me, Dan,
out of false religion. That's where I was. Here's Babylon
the Great falling, and what does this angel in verse 4, this preacher,
this voice from heaven say, come out of her, who? My people. My people, that ye be not partakers
of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues. So after
the church, has been given power back in Revelation chapter 11. After you've been given power
and are said to ascend up into heaven, verse 12 of Revelation
11, the meaning is that they've actually been especially blessed. That's what that phrase means
when it says in verse 12, "...and they heard a great voice from
heaven saying unto them, Come up hither, and they ascended
up to heaven. That means that they have been
especially blessed by God with great privileges. Someone says,
how do you know that? Well, I'm glad you asked. Turn
to Matthew 11.23. Matthew 11.23. It is told them Back in that Scripture, while
you're looking there, it says, Come up hither, and they ascended
up to heaven. Matthew 11, 23, the Lord speaking,
and it says, And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven,
shall be brought down to hell. For if the mighty works which
have been done in thee had been done in Sodom, It would have
remained until this day. Now, what was Capernaum told
that they actually possessed? It says, And thou, Capernaum,
which art exalted unto heaven. Now, let me ask you this. Was
the city exalted unto heaven? No. They were on this earth. What was the Lord referring to
then when He says, You are exalted unto heaven." I'll tell you what
it was. They had been blessed with the blessed privilege of
hearing the gospel. That's what it was. He says,
you are exalted unto heaven, but you will be brought down
to hell, for if the mighty works which had been done in thee,
where they actually witnessed the mighty works by the Lord
Jesus Christ and the hearing of Him preaching, He said, you've
been exalted unto heaven. You've been given the privilege
to be able to hear the gospel. But, he says, if the works that
had been done here had been done in Sodom, I've told you before,
that's one of those verses that I just, I read that and I think,
hmm. He said, if the gospel had been
sent to Sodom, which it wasn't, But if the mighty works had been
done in you, had been done there, it would have remained until
this day as one Scripture that says that they would have repented.
Let me ask you something. In whose hand is salvation? Do you realize that all God Almighty
has to do for a man or a woman to go to hell? is leave them
alone. Just leave them alone. Someone
says it's God's fault because God didn't elect me. No. Almighty
God is going to give a man and a woman, every man, as I said
last week, every man, every woman, He's going to give them exactly
what they want. If He leaves them to themselves,
they desire strong delusion and God will give it to them. But
if He, by His power, gives a man or a woman a new heart, imparts
unto them life, and in that imparting of power, they are willing, thy
people shall be willing in the day of your power, willing to
come, He gives them exactly what they desire, the Lord Jesus Christ. He grants that unto them. The
Lord, let me just finish this one verse. I'll stop here. I
was going to go through verse 14, but I don't think I'm going
to make it. The Lord had said to them, when He told them, He
said in verse 12, They heard a great voice from heaven saying,
Come up hither. They ascended up to heaven. In
a cloud their enemies beheld them. That ascended up into heaven
means they were blessed with the blessed privilege. just like
Capernaum. And the Lord said also to him,
come up hither. This is God-given call to be blessed with His presence
as opposed to the attitude that Lucifer had in Isaiah 14. It says they said they ascended
up to heaven also in conclusion of that part that I had just
spoken of right there. the Scripture says, ascended
up to heaven in a cloud. Why? Because they had heard a
voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. It is by
the voice of the Lord Jesus Christ through the preaching of the
gospel that men are told of the privilege that they have to hear
the gospel. The voice from heaven said, Come
up hither, and they ascended up into heaven. when God called
them by His power. Satan said in Isaiah 14, 13,
I will ascend into heaven and I will exalt my throne above
the stars of God. So this group here, the two witnesses,
are being called up, called out, told of the privilege that they
have. And then it says in their enemies,
beheld them, or that word beheld means discerned them. The meaning
here seems to indicate that while the wicked seem to think the
gospel is dead, there shall be a glorious resurrection of power
in truth to the extent that even the enemies of the gospel were
made to be spectators. Someone says, what is the fullness
of that truth that's set forth? I don't know. But I will tell
you this, just as there has been times for a while when the Lord
has raised up mightily men that preach the gospel of free grace
and God sent on the day of Pentecost, when the Lord God Himself moved
in power and sent the Spirit of God and moved upon those 120. And the Scripture says they began
to speak and preach with other tongues. They began to preach
in languages that they've never learned before. They began to
preach and they sat there and they listened and they said,
Cappadocia and Bithynia and all these different places. And how
is it that we hear these men preaching in our own tongue?
These men are Galileans. How can that be? I'll tell you
how it is. God Almighty moved on. And the
Scripture says thousands were saved under the preaching of
those men. Freddy, somebody say, you know,
there was 3,000 men, 3,000 men and women saved under the preaching
of it. You know, we think, well, I'll tell you this, I've never
heard of that in my lifetime. It's the most amazing thing in
the world to me when I behold one. Churches today, they, you
know, great, you know, to their own praise and glory. How many
baptisms did you have? Five hundred and thirty-two last
year. My goodness, you know how many
we've had since I've been here? One. Somebody said, well, not
very successful, are you? I said, oh, yes, we are. Oh,
yes, we are. We're doing just exactly what
he said to do. The world looks at it and says,
man, that's dead. That's dead. You mean you all come together
every week to hear either Orvin or Brother Scott, him that can
preach every week. And that's all? That's all? Yeah,
that's all. And I tell you, thankful to do
it. Thankful for the privilege to be able to come. Because I
know this, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
And who knows, maybe the Lord might be pleased to call out
another of His own. And of all the time, if I'd been
here until the time that the Lord removes me, and there was
a total of one the whole time I was here, was it worth it?
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. It was worth it. Why? Because this is what our Master
called us to do. You be faithful. You be faithful.
The world looks at it and says you're dead. And God's people
said, Lord, I'm thankful. Thankful that You've given us.
But according to this Scripture, there will come a time when God
Almighty may be pleased in our lifetime. I don't know. But according
to this Scripture, we may see a time when God raises up and
calls out His own that He's everlastingly loved. He did at Pentecost. Called 3,000 out. And there was
another time He called 5,000 out. Somebody says, That's impossible. Nothing's impossible with God.
He can do whatever He wants to do. This is what He's called
us to do. Be faithful. All right. Brother Gary, you come. I'll
stop there.
