Turn with me again to Revelation
11. This morning we ended in verse
3 where John heard these words, power unto my two witnesses,
and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days
clothed in sackcloth." We realized that these two witnesses, the
word two, is the word that sets forth the sufficient number. These two witnesses represent
the Bride, the Church, who is the two witnesses. In the mouth
of two witnesses, the Scripture says, shall a thing be established. And they shall prophesy 1,203
scored days. Again, we looked at that number.
It's the same number as the 42 months, the three and a half
years that we'll deal with later in this book. But it is a specific,
definite time frame that the Lord has established that His
Word is going to be preached. They were clothed in sackcloth.
They had a spirit of mourning, of humility, and repentance in
this world. And then starting in the next
verse, verse 4, and it says, These, that is the two witnesses,
are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before
the God of the earth." Now this blessed description of the two
witnesses, the church, is without doubt spoken of, and we do find
great revelation of that passage right there, verse 4, in the
book, as we looked at this morning, of Zechariah. So turn back to
Zechariah chapter 4. These were described as you're
turning back there remember Zechariah is just before the book of Malachi
so if you find Malachi the last book of the Old Testament go
forward one book you'll find Zechariah 4. These two witnesses
the scripture says these are the two olive trees. In Zechariah
4, to get an understanding, we'll just read the 14 verses of Zechariah
4. It says, And the angel that talked
with me came again and waked me as a man that is wakened out
of his sleep. I'll just make a few comments
as we go along here. If I'm going to know anything
concerning the Lord's Word, the Lord's glory, I have to be wakened
spiritually. So what Zechariah is saying is,
the Lord revealed to me. He opened my eyes. He caused
me to see some things. And he said, verse 2, said unto
me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and
behold, a candlestick. all of gold with a bowl upon
the top of it and his seven lamps thereon and the seven pipes to
the seven lamps which are upon the top thereof." Now, Zechariah
was spiritually caused to perceive something. He saw, as he looked,
he said, I saw a candlestick, a picture. Number one, what he
sees here is a picture of the church. Now, in Revelation 1.20,
I'll just quote this for you. You remember when John saw, he
saw the seven stars. He that walked in the midst of
the seven stars and the seven candlesticks, the seven stars
were the seven angels or the pastors of those seven candlesticks. And he said the seven candlesticks
are the seven churches. So the candlestick that's spoken
of right here, he said, I looked and it was a candlestick. So
he's talking here. of a picture of the witness of
the church, the bride itself. The candlestick is not the light. It's the vessel that the light
is found within. It's the vessel by which the
light manifests itself. The church itself is not the
light. 2 Corinthians 4, 6 and 7 says,
For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness has
shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of
the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But Paul says,
But we have this treasure, this light, this understanding in
earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and
not of us. So the candlestick itself, is
not the light. The candlestick is the vessel
that God has been pleased to manifest Himself who is the light. So back in Zechariah, he says,
what do you see? He said, well, I looked and behold,
a candlestick, all of gold. That represents the worth of
the candlestick itself, which again, Its worth is not found
in itself, but its worth is based totally on the merit of the Lord
Jesus Christ and His righteousness imputed to the candlestick, to
His bride. So there's a great worth. The church has been purchased
by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you imagine? I don't,
but I know that we can understand somewhat the worth in the sight
of Almighty God. We see in ourselves we see no
worth in us, but in Him the worth of it. So this candlestick, all
of gold, and the Scripture says concerning this candlestick,
Behold, it says it has with a bowl upon the top of it. Now here
was a bowl. If you look in your Bible, you
may have this. It says where it says a bowl,
in your margin there, it says her bowl. It says a bowl upon
the top of it. The actual rendering of that
word a is actually her bowl. So it's talking about the candlestick,
the bride's, the church's bowl. It's her bowl. upon the top of
it. That word bowl right there actually
means a fountain or a spring and that is the candlestick or
the bride's head that is actually sitting on top of that candlestick. He saw a candlestick all of gold
with a bowl upon the top of it. That is a beautiful picture.
of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the head of the church. God Almighty has a bride. Christ is her head. And the Scripture says that this
bowl upon the top of it and His seven lamps thereon, when it
says His seven lamps, is talking about the bowl. If you understand,
a bowl upon the top of it and His, that is the bowl, seven
lamps thereon and seven pipes to the seven lamps which are
upon the top thereof. Now, these seven lamps, if you
want to understand what's being pictured here, get it in your
mind. You've seen this in the Old Testament. It was a candlestick Actually, what it was, it was,
you know, the candlestick, it had the straight and it had the
two, four, six. You know, the candlestick. That's
what's being described here. But the only difference in this
vision and that candlestick was this one had a bowl that was
sitting on top of it. So we have now this candlestick
that represents the bride, the church, and these seven lamps. represent the seven or the perfect
light, the Lord Jesus Christ, that each assembly, this is an
assembly, this is a candlestick right here. And so therefore,
it says this bowl on the top of that candlestick and His seven
lamps, you remember we were looking this morning about the number
two. The two means sufficient number. In the mouth of two witnesses. Well, here this, Seven lamps. Well, someone says, well, I've
seen a picture of that lamp and it's got seven lights that comes
out of that candlestick base right there. I understand that.
But that represents something. It's seven lights or seven lamps
or it's a perfect light. The word or number seven. So these seven lights and it
says in there's seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon
the top thereof. So what feeds those seven lights
is perfect also. That number seven has great significance. And it says in just reading,
so just to establish now, what do you see? He said, I see a
candlestick, the church, there's a bowl on top of it. This bowl
is what feeds those seven pipes that goes to each light. So it's
speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the perfect I'm the feeder. I feed My sheep. I'm the bread.
I'm the water. Without Me, you do nothing. And
so, in verse 3, Zechariah says, he says, this is the other thing
I saw. There was two olive trees by it. One upon the right side
of the bowl and the other upon the left side thereof. So I answered
and I spake to the angel that talked with me saying, what are
these, my Lord? Then the angel that talked with
me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said unto him, No, my Lord. And verse 6, And he answered
and he spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord
unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might nor by power, but by
my spirit, saith the Lord." So we won't go too far. Let me tell
you what he just said. Zechariah had seen this vision. Candlestick, seven lights, a
bowl on top of the candlestick, and there was tubes that went
to the seven lights, the lamps, the shafts. On each side of the
bowl there was two olive trees, and these olive trees were actually
feeding the oil into the bowl. And the angel asked him, he said,
do you understand what you're looking at? And he says, no,
I really don't. He says, these two olive trees,
when he looked back in verse 3, the two olive trees by it,
one on the right side and the other on the left, and he asked
him, he said, what are these? What are these two olive trees? The answer to the two olive trees
is found in verse 6. He answered and he spake unto
me, saying, This is the word of the Lord, these two olive
trees. And this is what is magnificent
about these two olive trees. It doesn't require any of man's
assistance to feed the light. This is the word of the Lord
unto Zerubbabel, saying, not by might nor by power, but by
My Spirit, saith the Lord." Man has no part in feeding the light
of the Lord Jesus Christ manifest through his church. Who art thou,
O great mountain? Verse 7. This is the mountain
of oppression, the mountain of resistance before the Lord Jesus
Christ who is actually Zerubbabel, is a type of Christ. Who art thou, great mountain,
before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt become a plain, and
he shall bring forth a headstone thereof with shouting, crying,
Grace, Grace, unto it. Moreover, the word of the Lord
came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation
of this house, of this church, of this candlestick, and his
hands shall also finish it. And thou shalt know that the
Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. For who hath despised the
day of small things? For they shall rejoice and see
the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven. These are the
eyes of the Lord which run to and fro through the whole earth.'
Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive
trees upon the right side of the candlestick, and upon the
left side thereof?" It's amazing to me. And we just like this. The angel had just told him who
the two olive trees were. The olive trees are the Word
of God. That's what he said in verse 6. He asked him, he said,
Who are these? The answer is spoken to me. He
said, This is the Word of the Lord. That's the two olive trees. Then verse 7, I asked him again,
Well, what are these two olive trees upon the right side of
the candlestick and the left side thereof? And I answered
again. He didn't get an answer. From
the angel, I asked him again, I said, What are these? What
be these two olive branches which through the golden pipes emptied
the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said,
Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord. Then said he, These are the two
anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. And
look in the first verse of chapter 5. Then I turned and lifted up
my eyes and looked, and behold, a flying roll." These two olive
trees are the Word of God. We're going to go back into Revelation
11 in just a minute, and we're going to look and see what these
olive trees are said to be. It is the Word of the Lord that
is proclaimed through His church. Zechariah was not told. He was
told one time in verse 6. He asked again in verse 11. The
angel said nothing to him, and so verse 12 he says, These olive
trees that were empty in the golden oil through the golden
pipes into the golden bowl on the head of the candlestick,
these two olive branches set forth the Lord Jesus Christ who
as the Word of God. It's God Himself manifesting
Himself through His Church and they are spoken of as being the
two witnesses. This is the treasure that this
bride holds in earthen vessels, the light of the glorious Gospel
of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's the Word Himself. So these golden pipes supply
the light. This is in John 1.16, His fullness
and of His fullness we've all received. It was told Zechariah. He said this Word comes not by
might, Power by my Spirit. So verse 13 and 14 in Zechariah,
he asks Him again, Do you know? He says, No, I don't. Verse 14,
then he said, These are the two anointed ones, or actually, the
sons of oil. These are the anointed ones that
stand by the Lord of the whole earth. These are the two sons
of fresh oil, the appointed ones, as in Zechariah, also in Revelation. These two, turn back with me
there, back to Revelation 11. We saw in Zechariah who are the
olive trees, who is represented by the two olive trees, the two. the sufficient number, the Word
of God Himself. So we see back in Revelation
11, verse 4, these are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks
standing before the Lord, set forth and setting forth the Lord
Jesus Christ as He is the faithful head and supplier of His people. Now, if any man, verse 5 in Revelation
11, if any man will hurt them, it's talking about the Lord's
Bride. You know it is. The Lord's Bride is set forth
as the witness. They are spoken of in verse 4
as the two olive trees. They manifest His Word. What do we have? that is of more
worth..." What is the possession that we have that is of more
worth? There is no possession that is
more worth than the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ in us. The hope of glory. And all that
we say of Him is concerning His Word. Spoken of here as the two
olive trees. The Word of God Himself. Now,
if any man, verse 5, will hurt them. Now, that word right there,
if any man will hurt them, let me say that that's not a word
of possibility. It doesn't mean if anybody happens. That word right there is a word
that means intention and determination. If any man will. to hurt them. If any man wills to wrong them,
fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies."
Let me say this, and I speak to and I speak with the authority
of the Word of God. Write this down, unless Almighty
God is pleased. to call a man or a woman out
of darkness, spiritual darkness. I'm telling you, it would be
better that a man enrage all the demons of hell than to offend
one of God's anointed. To speak against God's people,
and especially those who preach the gospel, who are the spokesmen
for the Lord Jesus Christ, and his pride, to hurt them." That
word, hurt, right there means to wrong them, to speak against
them, or to be unjust to them. Let me tell you how critical
that is. The Lord said, if you've done
it unto the least of one of these My brethren, you've done it unto
Me. And I'm telling you, it is a fearful and a dangerous thing
to speak against God's people. And I know it goes on all the
time and men think nothing about it. But I'm telling you, if any
man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth. And the Scripture
says, the last part of verse 5 says, and he must in this manner
be killed. Jeremiah 5.14 says, Because ye
speak this word, behold, I will make My words in thy mouth fire,
and this people would, and it shall devour them. All who believe
not and bow not to the Lord Jesus Christ and leave this world shall
be damned. But I tell you this, especially
those who have heard the gospel, have sat under it and heard it,
they're suffering. I don't understand the fullness
of this Scripture that I'm about to read you, but I can tell you
based on the Word of God that it's so. Matthew 10, 14 and 15
says, shall not receive you." Men that have faithfully stood
in a pulpit, preached the gospel of God's free grace, set forth
the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully, faithfully, faithfully. It's
like Brother Scott. Whosoever will not receive you,
nor hear your words. When you depart out of that house
or that city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto
you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah
in the day of judgment than for that city." Someone might say,
how is it going to be more tolerable for someone in hell? I don't
know, but I can tell you this. He that does know says it will
be. Therefore, if a man hears the
Word of God and refuses it and will not receive it, it will
be more tolerable in the day of judgment for Sodom and Gomorrah
than it will be for those that heard and refused it. Verse 6
says, These have power to shut up heaven, that it rain not in
the days of their prophecy, and have power over waters to turn
them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues as often
as they will." Now Elijah was one that the Scripture sets forth,
actually expressed that the rain should not fall. I know Moses
pronounced God's judgment upon Egypt, and obviously the power
to command such plagues was not found in the hands of men, and
not all men did these things. But they were the instruments
through which God sent judgment. There were some that God said,
you say that there's not going to be any rain. Well, it wasn't
Elijah that held back the rain. God held back the rain. The Lord
was the one that said, I caused it to rain here, not rain here.
I sinned. I do this. But these men were
the instruments of it. And I'm telling you, we don't
realize the judgment that God sends through His messengers
in their speaking. And it says in verse 7, "...and
when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them
and shall overcome them and kill them." when they shall have finished
their testimony," or their report, or their evidence of the gospel. The word, finished, there actually
means they're performed, or the testimony that they have performed. The church shall fulfill their
mission in this world. Matthew 24, verse 14, it says,
and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end
come." But the phrase, shall have finished, it says, when
they shall have finished their testimony. It's not that it has
reference to time. That's not what it's talking
about. It doesn't mean time, but to completeness is what the
word is. When they shall have completed,
not in time, but in performance. 2 Timothy 4, 7, Paul says, I've
fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I've kept the faith. He completed
his particular lot, his assignment. So there is coming a time when
the Lord shall allow, because of the performed witness, the
finished testimony, that the Scripture says that the beast
that ascendeth out of the bottomless pits shall make war against them
and shall overcome them and kill them. Now this is going on now. It's not something that's going
to be, as often we've seen the case is. But this beast that
is spoken of here, obviously has its origin from the bottomless
pit, so therefore it represents all that is unholy, ungodly,
and blasphemous. This beast is actually manifest
in all false religion. Isn't it amazing how many times
This is referred to, the great babbler, the great whore, the
unjust, ungodly one. It doesn't matter what the name
of that religion is, all false religion has for their father
the devil, the beast out of the bottomless pit, this false beast
of a false religion, I'm sorry, referred to as a beast, will
endeavor to exterminate the true church, just like Satan tried
to do when the Lord Jesus Christ was born. He moved and caused
Herod, all in the purpose of Almighty God. Remember, Satan
is not all-powerful. He does only that which God allows
him to do, but the Scriptures does set forth that Herod wanted
to have all Children two years and under killed because he heard
that he was going to be a king. He didn't want him to be a king.
Now, this Scripture says that when they finish their testimony,
the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make
war against them, shall overcome them and kill them. Now, this
statement shall overcome them and kill them obviously cannot
be taken in its most literal sense because we realize that
there's going to be, first of all, believers here and witnesses
upon the earth when the Lord Jesus Christ returns. Paul said
in 1 Thessalonians 4.15, ìFor this we say unto you by the word
of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming
of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep." So we
know that whatever that means right there when it says it shall
overcome them and kill them, obviously does not mean it's
going to obliterate them because the Scripture sets forth that
there will be believers here at the time of the return of
the Lord. Matthew 16, 18 refutes the false concept when it says,
"...and shall overcome them." Well, Matthew 16, 18 says, "...upon
this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it." So whatever is meant in that last part of
verse 7, "...shall overcome them and kill them," doesn't mean
that it will completely obliterate them. So knowing that hell itself
cannot silence God's witness. Actually, what is meant? What
is being shown here? Well, as I told you this morning,
there is coming in this passage of Scripture a full understanding
and revelation of what the second woe actually is. means that there is coming a
time when the true church of God, true gospel preachers, will
appear to be almost eradicated from this earth. In the book
of Amos, let me just read this to you. Book of Amos, you might
want to jot this down, verse chapter 8, Verse 11 and 10, the
Lord says, through the prophet, Amos 8, 11 and 12, it says, Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord God, that I, now listen to this. Somebody says, well, it looks
like here that this beast came out and wore it against the candlestick,
the bride, the witness, the two olive branches, the Word Himself
through His people. My goodness, almost obliterated
them to the point to where it appeared as though they were
gone. There wasn't any witness here
anymore. The Scripture says, Behold, the
days come, saith the Lord, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but of hearing the
words of the Lord. And they shall wander from sea
to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to
and foe, and seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find
it." Well, what a great woe! What woe and judgment shall be
spewed out upon this wicked world! You remember, as I mentioned
again this morning, the first of the last three woes was revealed
to be the giving or the sending to men what they truly wanted. It was the first great woe. He
said, I saw a star fall from heaven. And to him was given
the keys to the bottomless pit. And he opened it up and smoke
came out in locusts. And Scripture sets forth that
the first great woe of judgment on this earth is that Almighty
God will give men what they truly want, strong delusion. God is and God will send them
strong delusion that they should believe a lie. The second woe
of judgment ushered in By we looked at a few weeks ago, we
start seeing wars, famine, fighting. But actually, that second woe
is actually completed. And we realize that in the completion
of that second woe is that God Himself sends a famine. And it's a famine of the hearing
of the Word of God. Men want to believe a lie. God said, I'll send you strong
delusion. I'll give you just exactly what you want. It says
that they do not want to hear the word of truth, which is the
power of God unto salvation. They won't. God said, I'm going
to send a famine. Not a famine of bread and water,
but it's a famine of the hearing of the gospel. Someone might say, is this happening
right now? What do you think? What do you
think? Religion thrives. Religion is everywhere. There is more religious stuff
on television than I have ever seen in my life. How many true
preachers do you see? How far do you have to drive?
How far do you have to go? I tell you, and I don't know
how much worse it's going to get. I don't know. Obviously,
it's going to get worse. But there's coming a time, the
Scripture says, and the time will come, that I will send a
famine. hearing, having a place. This
is a haven. This is an oasis to be able to
come and hear the Word of Almighty God and to hear it truthfully. And to hear Him exalted. Not
man, but God exalted. And the attitude of the wicked
concerning God's removal of almost all places to hear the Gospel
It says in verse 8 and 9, And their dead bodies shall lie in
the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom
and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the
people, and kindreds, and tongues, and nations shall see their dead
bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead
bodies to be put in graves. Now, the reason I read those
Scriptures a while ago that showed that there will be believers
here when the Lord returns, and that the Lord says, ìThe gates
of hell, I will establish my church on this rock.î On what
rock was that? You remember when the Lord asked
His disciples, ìWho do men say that I am?î Well, some said this,
some said that. And the Lord said, ìWho do you
say I am?î Peter said, ìYouíre the Christ, the Son of the living
God.î And He said, Flesh and blood didn't reveal that to you,
but my Father which is in heaven. And upon this rock, upon that
foundation that He's the Christ, the Son of the living God, upon
that rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it. So this setting forth right here,
these two witnesses, the church, the bride, there's coming a time
where it will appear as though. We know by Scripture that they
won't be eradicated out of this earth. at that particular time.
There is a time they're going to be taken out. But at this
particular time, they're not. They appear as though to be dead. And their dead bodies shall be
lying in the street. And that word street right there,
that was real interesting to me. Their dead bodies shall lie
or be considered. In the word street, it means
the wide place. I thought about that scripture
that says, wide is the gate that leads to destruction, but narrow
is the way that leads to everlasting life. In the wide place that
leads to destruction, they will consider God's dead. That's what they'll say. It's
gone. In the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord
was crucified. It will be as if there is no
church. As far as religion is concerned,
religious will consider that to be dead. And it says they'll
leave them in that verse 9, the people, they of the people and
kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three
days and a half and not suffer, not allow their dead bodies to
be put in the grave. Now what's being set forth there?
Remember, we saw that these are not two individuals. They are
representative of the bride of Christ. So what do they mean
which says they are two bodies? They will not suffer. They are
dead bodies to be put in graves. You see, to leave a corpse unburied
was to show utter contempt for that one. So Sodom, or spiritually
called Sodom in Egypt, means the wicked and the captive forces,
rebellion, oppression of God's people, their character, their
Lord, their God, the hatred for them. False religion that hated
and crucified our Lord. Hated Him. And does the same
to God's people. Hates them. Despises them. It
says in verse 9, they of the people, of kindred tongues, nations,
shall see their dead bodies, three days and a half, shall
not suffer their dead bodies. What that means is they have
utter contempt for them. They hate them. They hate the
message that they preach because they hate the God that the church
serves. But I want you to notice in closing,
and I'll stop with this, notice where these are from. The people
of kindreds and tongues and nations. Look over in Revelation 7 verse
9. We looked at this a few weeks
ago. After this I beheld in low a
great multitude which no man could number of all nations and
kindreds and people and tongues stood before the throne and before
the Lamb clothed with white robes and palms in their hands. and
cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, which sitteth
upon the throne, and unto the Lamb." Now these in Revelation
11 and 9 that hated and despised the church because they hate
and despise the church's God. These are from the same place
in Revelation 11 that hated the church, they are out of the same
pit, they are out of the same lump of clay as those in Revelation
7 that are said that they were out of every kindred and nation
and tribe and tongue. What was the difference between
the two? The grace of God. The only difference
between those in Revelation 7 out of every nation and kindred,
and these in Revelation 11, out of every nation and kindred and
tribe. One of them loved Him, praised
Him, exalted Him, had their robes washed white in the blood of
the Lamb, and these right here hated the bride. Rejoice! In fact, it even starts in verse
10. They start to almost like they
have a festive spirit. They that dwell upon the hearth
shall rejoice over and make merry and send gifts one to another."
We're going to have us a holiday! We love this! There's no threat
to us anymore. I'm not going to get into that
right now. But the only difference between the two was the grace
of God. I think I've said this before. How many times have I considered,
and you look at one family, And here's a family that got maybe
one. I'm thinking about my mother
right now in particular. I've told you this before. My
mother, out of all the family, all of her extended family, brothers,
sisters, cousins, all of them that I know, that I'm aware of,
and I know a lot of them, but all of them that I know, all
of them, one person out of all that family that I know of that
God showed mercy to, dug out of the same pit, out of the same
hole. The Lord said, I will have mercy
on whom I will have mercy. I will have compassion on whom
I will have compassion. So then it's not of him that
willeth or of him that runneth, but of God that shows mercy. Almighty God was pleased. In all of this trial up until
this point right here, he said, I have a witness. There's a witness. John was told to measure. Hey,
you measure the temple of God. This is her character. Measure
the altar. This is how she's been shown
that God justifies the sinner. Measure those that dwell and
worship therein. These are the elect right here. I'm going to have a witness.
They are the two witnesses. They are the sufficient witness. And they'll go through and they'll
be preaching. And there'll be a time that God Almighty is going
to take and send A famine of hearing the gospel. What a great
woe. The world is going to rejoice
in it because they hate it. They hate it. And God will give
them just exactly. But there is coming a time, and
Lord willing, we will look at it next time, when these two
are going to receive light again from heaven. They are going to
stand up and the world is going to see it and know it. But as
of this point, as of where we looked at right now, These two
witnesses, it will appear as though to the world that there's
just less and less, less hearing of the Gospel, not the effectiveness
of it. God Almighty is going to call
out His people the way He always has through the preaching of
the Gospel. And all that He's everlastingly loved, they're
going to come to Him. There's not going to be one of
God's elect that's not going to be there. He will have His
own. All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me, and Him
that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out but oh the great
wall upon this world because of their hatred for the gospel
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
