I've titled this lesson, Eyewitness
Testimony. Christ Jesus, the Son of God,
is coming again in great power and great majesty. He's coming
again. Now, as Peter's hand is moved
along by the Spirit of God, He had mentioned to us in chapter
1 about the believer being kept by God's grace and about an abundant
entrance being ministered to us into the everlasting kingdom
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And Peter speaks of his
own decease and says, and I would that you would remember these
things. And then we come along here, he comes to verse 16, and
the first thing that we see here is that what is emphasized is
that the word of Christ's power of His coming is true. It's a
true word. This word of His coming and His
power is true. Look at verse 16. For we have
not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto
you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses
of his majesty. Why do you, why do I speak the
gospel and try to be serious about these things and take it
so seriously and come and try to have you look into this word
and look these scriptures up and see what this word's saying?
Why is that? The fact is, this is not a fictional
story. This is not something crafted
and cunningly devised, a fable that's been created. This gospel
of salvation that's accomplished by Jesus Christ is the very counsel
of God. These are the words of God. This
is God that you're going to have to do business with. Sooner or
later, we're going to do business with this God. And this is His
word. This is His Word. As soon as
Adam sinned in the garden, God promised that Christ was coming,
that He would come, going to be born of a woman. Well, He's
come now. He has come in the flesh. He
has come. Do you realize that everyone
who doesn't believe Him, whosoever does not believe that Jesus Christ,
the Son of God, has come in the flesh, you're under the influence
of the spirit of antichrist. You know that? Listen to this,
1 John 4, 3. Every spirit that confesseth
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God. And this is that spirit of antichrist
whereof you heard that it should come and even now already is
it in the world. That's serious thought. It's
a very serious thought. Under the power of the prince
of the air. That's a very serious thought.
So be sure you get this first thing. This word is not fiction. This is not just a cunningly
devised fable. This is the word of the true
and living God. That's who we're talking about.
So let's listen carefully. Let's look in these scriptures.
Open the word and see what this book says. See what God says
in this word. All right. Here's the second
thing. we're going to notice here is
that this gospel is the power, is of the power, it's about the
power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now I said to you
Christ has come and when Christ first came into this earth he
came with divine power. When he was born of a virgin
it declares Loud and clear, no other man ever was born this
way. This man was born of the Most
High God. That's how he came. The elect
were flesh and blood, he came in flesh and blood. He took the
nature of his children that he might suffer, right and righteously
obey God, and go to the cross and lay down his life in that
nature as the substitute of his children. And he made atonement
thereby. He did this. He had to be born
of that virgin, else he would be a sinner like you. And he
came, this is declaring his power. His teaching, when he walked
this earth and taught, it came with power and authority. They
sent some fellas out there to arrest him one day, and the fellas
came back after listening to him, and they said, never a man
spake like this man. Never a man spake like this man.
Every miracle that the Lord Jesus worked declared that he is co-equal
with God, that he's equal with the Father. Matthew 11.2 says
this, when John, let's look at this, Matthew 11.2, when John had heard And hold
your place in Matthew, because we'll be back there in a moment.
Matthew 11, 2. Now, when John had heard in the
prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and
said unto him, Art thou he that should come? Or do we look for
another? And everything our Lord did,
the miracles he worked, declared, Christ come in power. Jesus answered
and said unto them, go and show John again those things which
you do hear and see. The blind receive their sight,
and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear,
and the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached
to them, and blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Do you believe that? Do you believe this word? Do
you believe that Christ Jesus, the man of Nazareth, walked this
earth and healed blind people, healed lame people, gave deaf
people hearing, raised a dead man, Lazarus, and brought him
out of the grave? Do you believe that happened? Either do or don't. We either do or we don't. The work of redemption, which
he came and finished, declared his power. When he said it's
finished, and he gave up the ghost himself. The spirit or
the veil of the temple split from top to bottom and the earthquake
and the rocks ran. Who ever did anything like that?
Who else came claiming to be Christ, claiming to be a Messiah? Whoever came and accomplished
these things? All these things were written
before. Well, Peter was an eyewitness, an eyewitness. He was given an
eyewitness view and given something to hear, declaring the majesty
with which Christ ascended and with which he's coming again.
And he's telling us about that in our text. Let's look back
at 2 Peter 1, 16. He says, we were eyewitnesses
of his majesty. For he received from God the
Father honor and glory when there came such a voice to him from
the excellent glory. This is my beloved Son in whom
I am well pleased. And this voice which came from
heaven, that's where the excellent glory from the Father from heaven,
this voice which came from heaven, we heard it. when we were with
him in the Holy Mount. Now either Peter has come up
with some cunningly devised fable so that he could get beat and
put in prison and denied everything possible that could bring him
comfort in his life, or he's telling the truth of a true and
living God that took power of his heart and made him a new
person. One of the two. One of the two. What man ever
did anything that didn't profit him in his life whatsoever and
stood for somebody that would make this whole world turn their
thumbs down on him and say, that's a fable you're telling. And chain
him up and treat him so cruelly until he's eventually killed
because of it. He heard this. Now who does he
say received this honor? He received it. Christ Jesus
did. There came such a voice to him.
Now from whom did he receive it? I want you to get this because
we're hearing Peter's testimony that the Lord took him to hear
and to see. But it's God who's bearing testimony.
So that if we don't believe what's being said, we don't believe
God. We don't believe God. This thing
don't have a thing to do with Peter. It don't have a thing
to do with me. It's got to do with you and God. You and God. Me and God. That's who this has
got to do with. From whom did he receive this?
He received it from God the Father. When there came such a voice
to him from the excellent glory. And what did Christ receive from
God the Father when God spoke? He received honor and glory. He did. God never spake from
heaven and gave another man honor and glory, but this man, this
man, Christ Jesus. We're going to see why. All right,
now let's look here now at Peter's testimony. Go over to Matthew
16. What happened? What's Peter talking about? He
said, we saw this and heard this when we were in the mountain.
Let's go see. Matthew 16, verse 28. Now the
Lord had been talking to his disciples. And he says there in verse 28,
Verily I say unto you, there be some standing here which shall
not taste of death till they see the Son of Man coming in
his kingdom. And after six days, he took Peter,
that's who's writing the second epistle, he took Peter, and he
took James, and he took John, his brother. and bringeth them
up into a high mountain apart." He took them off to themselves.
Now he had talked about his death upon the cross and now he's going
to show them before their eyes the glory that awaited Christ
as the reward of his agony upon the cross. He's fixing to show
them the glory and power of his coming. Verse 2, and he was transfigured
before them and his face did shine as the sun And his raiment
was white as the light. That means, not that his raiment
turned white, but his glory shined through the garments he had on.
Mark says, the exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller on earth
can white them. Glory, majesty, brilliance, just
shining through. His face like the sun. Can't
even look into the sun. And scripture says when he returns
he's going to make that sun look like it don't have any light
when he comes back. We're talking about glory, majesty,
majesty. Verse 3, and behold there appeared
unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Now, when Christ is
transfigured here in glory and majesty, this is a pledge of
Christ's power and His coming again in the glory and majesty
with which He'll return. This is how those folks that
were waiting for them to come down out of the mount so eventually
they could take Christ to the cross and string Him up and spit
on Him and crucify Him and put a crown of thorns on His head,
this is how they thought He was coming the first time. This is
how He's coming a second time. He's coming this way a second
time. But this picture that they're seeing, this transfiguration,
is showing how He's coming again. But when they see Moses and Elias
there, this is a pledge of the resurrection of the dead. This
is a pledge that all of those that are called and brought to
believe on Him are going to be raised with Him in glory. These
men had died years and years and years before this and here
they are talking with the Lord Jesus Christ. And Peter knew
who they were. He either knew this by a divine
revelation or he knew it from what they were saying to one
another, but he knew who they were. And this was a demonstration
of the glory which awaits every believer. Every believer is going
to be resurrected with our Lord. The scripture says, Beloved,
now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we
shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be
like him, for we shall see him as he is. What were they talking
with the Lord about? Luke says they spake of his decease
which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. Peter heard all that. You know in our text right before
Peter talks about this, Peter said, I want you to have these
things in remembrance after my decease. As he's writing this
whole epistle, this is what's on his mind. This is what he's
thinking about. This is what he's declaring to
encourage the brethren with all through his epistle. But they
spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem. They were talking about how he
was going to the cross and he's going to put away sin by the
sacrifice of himself. Moses leading the children of
Israel out of Egypt, out of Egyptian bondage, across the Red Sea,
out of that bondage. That was a picture of what Christ
was going to do. The lies being just taken up out of the world
into heaven, lifted up out of heaven. That's a picture of Christ
ascending up to glory in this glory and majesty. They understand
it now. They understood why the Lord
was doing all that strange providence in their lives. Now they're sitting
there talking to the Lord about it. This is what He's going to
the cross to do. And Peter and James and John
are sitting there listening to all this and hearing all this.
Peter said, I didn't make this up, folks. I saw this and heard
this. Verse 4, Then answered Peter,
and he said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here,
if Thou will. Let us make here three tabernacles,
one for you and one for Moses and one for Elias. Will God allow
that? Is God going to allow that? Is
he going to allow him to establish three tabernacles there, one
for Christ and one for Moses and one for Elias? He took him
up there to show him his glory. God's not going to share this
glory with another. His children are going to be raised with Him
in glory. And there's a glory He gives to His children. But
this glory right here is God's glory. This is the glory of His
Son who He sent. Moses is the law. Elias are the
prophets. They can bear witness to this.
They can bear witness to this. But Christ alone fulfilled the
law. And Christ alone fulfilled everything written in the prophets.
And Christ alone is going to get the glory for all this. Not
Moses and Elias. Not Moses and Elias. Look over
at Romans 3. Let me show you that. Romans
3, verse 20. I told you to place it there in Matthew 17. Romans 3, 20. Therefore by the
deeds of the law, there shall no flesh be justified in his
sight. For by the law is the knowledge
of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested. Now it can be witnessed by the
Law and the Prophets. Moses and Elias can stand there
in this Mount of Transfiguration as witnesses that Christ accomplished
this work. The Law and the Prophets can
bear witness to it. That's fine. But they're not
going to have a tabernacle built to them. No monuments built to
them. Verse 22, even the righteousness of God which is by the faithfulness
of Christ Jesus. This is the righteousness we're
talking about. There's no righteousness in Moses
to see. There's no righteousness in the prophets to see. There's
all righteousness in Christ. verse 25, whom God has set forth
to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare
his righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed through
the forbearance of God. To declare, I say at this time,
his righteousness that he might be just and the justifier of
him which believeth in Jesus. So everything God's given us
in this word bears witness. It's bearing testimony. The law
was given to say, you're a sinner and I'm a sinner. Shut our mouth
and bear witness that Christ is the righteousness of God.
He's the righteousness of the law. He's not just the end of
the law and the fact that He came and fulfilled it and brought
in everlasting righteousness. He's what the law was turning
His children to. He's the end of it. Come to Him,
you came to the purpose and end of the law and of these prophets,
of this whole book right here. If you ain't come to Him, come
to a bunch of husks, kind of just a peanut shell, but nothing.
All right, so none but Christ will receive this honor and glory.
Now let's look at this honor and glory. Verse 5, back at Matthew
17, 5, Peter's telling us what he saw.
While he yet spake, Now this is God speaking from heaven,
from the excellent glory, Peter said, Matthew 17, 5. While he
yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. All of a sudden,
Moses and Elias can't even be seen anymore. A bright cloud
overshadowed them. And a voice out of the cloud
said, this is my beloved son. in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye him. Now this is God's word. This
is the word Peter's saying. We did not craftily devise it.
This is the honor and glory that came. We saw this majesty, we
saw this honor and glory in his shining brilliance, and we heard
this speak from heaven. Here's what God said. First of
all, he said, this is my beloved son. He said, first of all, this
is my son. God the Father, from the excellent
glory, from heaven, publicly announces, right there before
Peter, James, and John, that the son of Mary is his son. That Jesus of Nazareth, whom
carnal, natural man hates with a vehement passion, God said,
that's my son. God the son. That's what he said.
Here's God the son. This is him. Jesus of Nazareth
is God over all, blessed forever. And he said, and he's my beloved
son. He's the only begotten son of
God. This is what made the great impression
upon John that made him say, for God so loved the world that
he gave his only begotten son. He gave his son. He said, this
is my beloved son. This is the eternally begotten
son of God. You want me to explain that?
I don't. I can't. I don't know. I'm sure somebody
probably can. I can't. I can't. And I've studied
it at length. And I can't give it. It's too
big for me. Just too big for me. This is
the son co-equal with his father. Look at John 5. John 5 verse
18. Let's look at verse 17. Jesus
answered them, My father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the
Moor to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath,
but he said also that God was his father, making himself equal
with God. Look at John 10, 33. John saw this. John knew who
he was. John 10.33. The Jews answered
him saying, For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy,
because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. God spoke from heaven and said,
This is my beloved son. That's who he is. Now look at
the next thing the Lord said back there in Matthew 17. The
Lord said, Verse 5, He said, This is My beloved Son, in whom
I am well pleased. This is holy God speaking. And
He's speaking here of this one who's standing here as the mediator
between God and His people. He's God, He's also man. And
God speaking, He said, He's My beloved Son. And He said, And
He's also the one in whom I am well pleased. Before ever the
Lord entered this earth, God was well pleased with him and
with all his people in him because he stood as the mediator, as
the surety of his people before the world began in the covenant
of grace. He was well pleased in him because of his life in
this earth. Everything he did, he goes to
John the Baptist and he says, I came to be baptized of you.
And John said, I'm not, Me baptize you? I need you to baptize me."
And the Lord said, suffer it to be so now because it behooves
us in fulfilling all righteousness. He did everything that is required
of His people. True faith. True faith that overcomes
the victory. It's not some powerful thing
you got. It's something you have, it could
be as weak and as small as a grain of mustard seed, but seize the
power of the faithful one, the one who faithfully pleased God
in everything He did for you, on behalf of you. That's the
faith that's gonna save. It's not, well, this is my faith. Your faith will plunge you in
hell. Your faith will put you in hell with the worst of enemies
that you can think of in this world. if it's your faith. That's a vain, deceiving thing. Don't go around boasting of my
faith. I want to boast of Christ's faith. That's who my faith's laying
hold of. That's who God-given faith is trusting in, his faithfulness.
He said he was well-pleased with him when he went to the cross.
Isaiah 53.10 says, it pleased God to bruise him. God's satisfied because He bruised
His Son, put His Son to death in place of His people. It pleased
Him. It brought infinite justice,
satisfaction. This is the well-pleasing we're
talking about. We're not talking about just like when your dog
comes in, when you tell him to, or when he don't go out when
he's not supposed to. We're talking about being well-pleased. We're
talking about the holy God saying, I'm well-pleased. God never said
this to anybody but this one. Well-pleased with Him. well pleased
with Him in glory, making intercession for His people as our high priest. That's what John said. If any
man sin, we have an advocate with the Father. He's the propitiation
for our sins, and not ours only, but for the sins of the whole
world. This is the one who came and put away the sin of His people,
Jew and Gentile, bond and free, male and female, and made them
one in Him. And He's in glory. And right
there in glory, God's satisfied with Him, well pleased with Him.
And He's well pleased with Him right now, who has all power
in heaven and earth, ruling as the head of his church, leading
his people, he's well pleased with that too. Well pleased with
that too. And he, you know what he's going
to do? Look at 1 Corinthians 15, 24. He's going to deliver
up the whole kingdom to the Father. You see, He's finished the work
of redemption, but He's still working in the midst of His people.
He's still walking among the candlesticks. 1 Corinthians 15,
24. Then cometh the end when He shall
have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when
He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
For he must reign till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be
destroyed is death, for he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him, it manifests
that he is accepted which did put all things under him. And
when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son
also himself be subject unto him that put all things under
him, that God may be all in all." In other words, Whenever the
mediatorial work is done, when it's finished, when he's delivered
up the kingdom, you're going to see God our Savior, the Lord
Jesus Christ, the head of his church and kingdom, and all our
salvation. And while everybody's splitting
hairs in hell over all these different things, you're going
to see God. You that trust Him are going to see God, our Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ, who did all the work and saved His people.
This is what God is saying. He's always done that which pleased
Me. That's what Christ said. I do
always those things that please Him. That's all He does. John
put it this way, John 1, 14. Let me just read this to you.
He said, The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld
His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and truth. And Peter said, And we saw this
with our own eyes. Well, the Lord said something
else when He was there too, that we have here in verse 5, Matthew
17, 5. He said, Hear ye Him, Christ is, you're not going to
hear Christ speaking if all you hear is me talking. But Christ
is. God has sent him to be the prophet
and the teacher. They're going to be all taught
of the Lord. And he's going to be the ones doing the teaching.
I didn't just make a conscious decision one day and say, you
know what, I think I'm just going to believe that God really rules
this sovereignly all over everything. And he really, really does do
this work in truth and righteousness. I didn't just one day decide,
I think that's what I'll go with. I think I'll believe that. All
that makes logical sense to me. I'm going with that. That's not
what happened. That's not what happened. God
spoke. God spoke and made me see Christ. He made me see Christ. And he
put my face down. And he touched me. And he said,
don't be afraid. And I looked up and I saw him.
With your own eyes? Nope. I saw him by faith. I saw
him by faith. And I know what he's doing. His
word, he began to teach me in his word what he's doing. And
I've been coming to, I've been seeing what he's really doing
ever since then. This is what he's really doing.
I saw the light first and he's been teaching me this ever since.
When God speaks, we're going to hear him. So if you think
about all these scriptures now and you think, well, are all
these scriptures true? Let's go back to 2 Peter. Are
all these scriptures true? hear God speak from heaven and
hear Him say, yeah, they're true. They're true. Hear Christ. Who do you think those holy men
of old were speaking by? Peter said in his first epistle
they spoke by the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit of God they spoke
by. Christ has always been the mediator. He's the head of the
church in the wilderness as much as he's the head of the church
today. He's always done that. This has always been His work.
He is a high priest. He entered into that office from
eternity. I showed you that the other day
in Hebrews. In every word, this book is talking about Him. It's
the voice of salvation accomplished by Him. It's Him speaking through
this Word. God the Father speaking and bearing
witness with all His holy apostles and saying, hear Him. Believe
Him. Look to Him. It's Peter verse
19 and 21. We'll go back and look at this
another time. This is Peter's commentary on
what was recorded in Matthew of hear ye him. Peter is saying
we have also a more sure word of prophecy. We've got all the
script. You don't have to just take my
eyewitness testimony for it. This is what God's been saying
throughout the whole book. This is what He's been showing
us through the whole book. Where unto you do well that you take
heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place? Would you go into a dark room
and just say, all right, I'm going to start looking around
and seeing if I can find some light? If at the entrance to
the doorway of that dark room, somebody's standing there and
saying, here's light. If you want to see in this darkness,
here's light. Take this light. This is how you're going to see
in this room. Take this light. Would you bypass them and just
walk in there, stumbling around in the dark and say, I'm just
going to see if I can find some light in here. I'm sitting here
on Thursday nights at 7 o'clock. I'm sitting here on Sunday mornings
at 10, 15, and 11 AM. And I'm sitting here saying,
here is the light. Here's the light. And we're so
cocksure we can find the light without hearing the word of God.
We go on stumbling around in this blind, dark world looking
for light somewhere else and saying, nope, I believe light's
over here. I'm smarter than that. You know how you'd laugh if you
saw somebody pass that up, pass a flashlight up and candle and
walk into a dark room and just stumble around. You'd think,
what a blazing idiot. That's how dumb we are in our heart.
That's how backwards we are in our heart. I don't care how much
intellect we have and how far we think we've come. That's what
we're doing when we pass by when God has spoken and said, here's
the light. Here it is. You've had ample opportunity.
Here it is. Hear it. Hear it. You do well
that you take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,
until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts, knowing
this first, that no prophecy of the scriptures of any private
interpretation." These men weren't just making up things either.
They weren't just coming up with something on their own either.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man.
Ain't anything that's of God that's ever come by the will
of man. Nothing. Nothing, absolutely nothing that
has anything to do with righteousness that ever came by the will of
man. Nothing, beginning with the Word of God and ending with
the Word of God. Nothing. And man will take this
Word right here and say, but I'm not listening to you. This
Word's my final authority. And walk in those sparks. You
might as well be taking this book and setting it on fire and
saying, see I'm walking in this light. And watching the Word
of God burn up in your hands as you do it. Nothing came by
the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved
by the Holy Ghost. Now here's what we've seen. We're
not following cunningly devised fables. I'm not trying to tell
you, I'm not trying to tickle your ears and tickle your intellect,
puff up your head, puff out your chest. You can walk around and
talk about all you know about the twelve tribes of Israel and
everything you know about the Holy Land and everything you
can tell about wherever dimple in that land is over there. That
won't do you any good. It won't do you a bit of good.
You need to meet Christ. We need to meet Christ. This
is God's own testimony from glory. It's God's own testimony when
He walked this earth. It's eyewitness testimony of
Peter, James, and John. It's the written word of holy
men of old. How many witnesses we want? This
would more than satisfy a court of law in our land. It will in
God's court of law too. God's come from heaven to earth.
This is what we've seen. He's come. His people, He satisfied
God and saved His people by the sacrifice of His darling Son.
His only begotten Son. And God's well pleased in Him.
God's not pleased anywhere else. He's not pleased in anyone else
but His Son. You and I, all we are is sin
and death and abomination in our flesh. Next time you pass
something driving down the road and you come across some place
and it just stinks, just let this cross your mind. I smell way worse than that before
God. Just remember that. Outside of Christ. He's pleased
in Christ, but He's not pleased with anybody outside of Him.
But in Christ, now get that, in Christ He's well pleased.
Well pleased. For those that come in Him are
given all the glory and honor to Him. Now, I said to you, when
he speaks, I don't have time this morning, but you go back
and read, whenever they heard that voice, they fell on his
face. They fell on His face. I told you that. When the Lord
is speaking grace in the heart, men always fall on their face.
When God's revealing His glory like He did to those prison soldiers
that came to arrest Him and doesn't reveal it in the heart, they
fall backwards. They always do. Always do. This glory is putting
somebody either on their face or their backside, one of the
two, but there's going to be some bowing one way or the other. But when you behold Him in grace
and He says, arise, be not afraid, you hear Him. You will hear Him
in your heart speaking. This is God speaking. And you'll
hear, you'll know this. I have heard God speak. God is
speaking. That's the voice we follow. That's
the only way you can know. You can't know by the voice of a
man. But I can hear the voice of a man speaking and tell if
that's God speaking or not. Is it true? And to those that
go on in rebellion, This is a sobering word, but you're going to see
this majesty, too. You're going to see the same. You say, well,
if I saw that majesty that Peter saw, I'd bow. You sure will. You sure will. Everybody will
see this majesty, and everybody will bow. Everybody will bow. We'll either bow on our face,
but we're going to bow. We're going to bow. Look at 2
Peter 3, verse 10. The day of the Lord will come
as a thief in the night, into which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, and the earth also and the works that are therein
shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation
and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the
day of God? wherein the heavens, being on
fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat. Nevertheless, we, according to
His promise, look for a new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth
righteousness." This is what we're looking for. We're going
to bow. But that day when He comes, in
the glory of His Father, It'll be too late to bow in faith. It'll be too late. And the day
of grace is now. That's what the psalmist said.
Kiss the son. Kiss him. Kiss him now. Believe
on him. That's what he's saying. Believe
on him. Trust him. Bow to him. All right. Amen.
