What does the Bible say about the secret place of the Most High?

The Bible describes the secret place of the Most High as a refuge and a shelter from troubles, emphasizing the safety and peace found in God.

In Psalm 91, the secret place of the Most High is depicted as a sanctuary where believers can find refuge and security. It signifies a close relationship with God, where one abides under His protective shadow. This secret place offers safety not only from physical dangers but also from spiritual threats, illustrating God's promise to care for and protect His people amidst various trials and tribulations.

Psalm 91:1-2

How do we know God's protection is true?

God's protection is affirmed through His promises in scripture, such as Psalm 91, where He assures believers of His faithfulness and deliverance.

The assurance of God's protection comes from His faithful promises throughout Scripture. Psalm 91 is a powerful chapter that reinforces the truth of God's abiding presence and protection. Verses like, 'I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress' emphasize that believers are called to trust in God's power and faithfulness. The entire chapter bears witness to God’s ability to deliver His people from dangers, both seen and unseen, reaffirming that through faith, one can experience His protection.

Psalm 91:2

Why is faith important for Christians?

Faith is vital for Christians as it is through faith that they trust in God's promises and experience His grace and protection.

Faith serves as the foundation of a Christian's relationship with God. It is by faith that individuals acknowledge God's sovereignty and rely on His goodness and mercy. In Psalm 91, the essence of faith is articulated as trusting God to be our refuge and fortress in times of trouble. Faith opens the door for believers to receive God's grace, comfort, and assurance of His presence in their lives. Without faith, one cannot engage fully in the promises that God extends to His children, including the promise of protection and assurance found in His Word.

a flood-divide, storm-divide, so double-divide, look higher
than that. Now, let's look at the next sentence. Under the shadow of the Almighty,
how powerful is God? Almighty. So we're talking about
the shadow of the Almighty. No man has to save God at any
time or any place, but the only production of His Son, He has. He's there. He is as important
as God. He's Almighty. He's the first image of God.
God who is the Spirit. God said, He is just here. I know Him. Right before He was to leave

in God. He said, I don't believe in Jesus Christ. And I said,
well, that's good. There is no God. There's three
of them. There's no God but me. I am Jesus. You ever heard that? It's all

lot of people said Patterson. So if this is going to be your turn

that if you get sick, or injured, or hurt, or down, you have a
heart attack, whatever it is, God gives. And I give it to anybody who needs it. God gives it to everybody who wants it.
Do ourselves a favor, Lord. Neither is it in the Hinduism

the Hinduism. Absolutely. I think it is in the Hinduism. First of all, I think it is in
the Hinduism. Absolutely. I think it is in
the Hinduism. Absolutely. So, he would say that all the
things that I had done, he said, would affect me, and God had
mercy, and spared the lives of the poor, and tried not to kill,
and God spared them, and it would affect me the same way
it would affect my fellow men. And this is all 9-1-1, as I said,
but this is my closing address. It's my hope that we can create a
vast number of our own people to help with that. It's my hope
that we can help the lives of our own people. We haven't experienced
it. We'll die of it. And, uh, it's
better to give than to hold on. Give. Give. Don't keep yourself.
Keep your place in the Most High, the Chateau of the Almighty,
with the Lord, and, uh, the Lord keeps his promises. Well, keep
your places with anybody. That's the state we're coming
from. We're in the light, and that's where Christ is, and we're
being healed. Okay. So the next verse is saying,
thus, surely he shall be liberated from the snare of the fowl into
the fire. That's faith. I don't want to
say that we won't get in on something, I just want to say that if we
do, then we'll get it. We'll get it. Now, we're going
to be able to get what we say is going to
happen. I don't want to get in on something,
I just want to say that. I'll do all that feels delicious
to me. And from the noise of the pestilence,
all the promotion, trouble, and so forth, what is that? That's
just another word for enjoyment. That's the goal of all this,
is to stand and do this. So the thing that we've been
taught, that's what we've been taught to do. Verse four, He
shall cover thee with His face, under His wings shall thou trust. Just as we may be persuaded that
somebody is going to spend time in China once again. How is that? How do you explain it? I wrote
letters on, I wrote news on news. I also have delegated more than
necessary articles. How do you explain it? Well, there are at least, there
are at least at least one or two articles. And, uh, my cousin,
he was just, uh, a couple of years old, and, uh, he was very
young, so the water was very warm. I told him at that time,
at that time, that we had a chicken. And, uh, he said, Mom, this,
this chicken is, uh, very, very protective of her young, all
of them are. This one is very protective of
her young, and we have a stall. And uh, there was a guy who was
rambling around, and he had two babies. And uh, I went into his
house that night to see if they were all in there. And they weren't. He just walked in and saw one
of the babies on the bed. So I took it. And uh, I ran around and ran
far and all that, and I found her. And, uh, I had a chance to grow
up and meet Walt Disney. And, uh, I keep finding him in
there. I'm lookin' real curious at him, lookin', lookin'. If
I find him, what am I gonna do with him? I don't even know if
I'm gonna pass it to her later. I don't know if she listens to
her or anything. She doesn't want to do it. I
thought that you knew a little bit about him. I said, okay,
under his wing, under his wing, he's about to knock us up. It's
true, first of all, he's about to knock you in and knock us
up, but it's true that you're shooting through his pants. against
the way of the user, against the world we all live in, the
world of Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's and dementia, and there's a fiery
darkness that they can't even control. We have no control.
We can't create our life, we can't create our business, we
can't create... that he has the message of justice,
although Martin Luther did not have it. He did it, thankfully,
following him. And that's where the word of God came from. It came from
him. And I felt that, and I'll say
it, that then, you know, the first half, that shall not be
a phrase, Was it terror by night, or was it arrows, or was it bullets,
or was it excellence in warmth and darkness, or was it destruction
and wasted at the end of that? If you truly trust Him, the reason,
among His words, is that thou shalt be saved. Now, we thank first Christ because
He forgives us. I remember it was 9-11. It was
the first thing. I didn't want to hear it. I didn't
want to hear it. But I was sitting there in the
study hall, sitting there. A good place to sit. And so, do you remember that
guy? He says, do you hear what's been
happening? I said, no, what's been happening? He said, there's
bombs in the building. Bombs in the building. And he said, who's the killer? When we first
hear of these things, we're afraid to find them. Humanity was beginning to be
one. There's only one man who ever
lived who was never afraid of anything. You know that? Only one man who ever lived who
was never afraid of anybody and anything ever. And who's that? Well, that's my hand. Is that
who you want? That's what I'm asking. You've got to be, you've got
to be your salvation. The Lord Jesus Christ believes.
It's for disciples. And I don't know about folks
out there who don't know the story, and if disciples haven't
made it somewhere, and there's no one there to tell them what
to do, what to say, and they're sitting on the same page about
the plan for a solution when they do, because they were trying
to kill him. And they didn't want to follow
him, so I didn't do it. It didn't work. His enemies were looking
at the way he was. And they didn't do it either. And where I call us, even men
like David, and we look at men like David, we look up to the
man, but don't, don't look up to David. David said this, here's what
David said. At what time am I important? I will trust in Him. In God, I will praise His Word,
and for they that ran to Him will do the same. In God, I have put my trust in
Him. I will not fear what the flesh
will do to me." He didn't say that until He ran with the Word. And in verse 7, it says, a thousand
shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand. You shall not come nigh thee,
speaking of the terror in verse 5, the testimony of the destruction
of the temple. You shall not come nigh thee,
only with your eyes you'll see it. You'll be holy if you're out
and see no more of the wicked cause. Now, here it is, verse
nine. Because I have made the Lord,
which is my refuge, holy to you, even the most high, he is your
executioner. Now, some of those are, but they
could, the kids, don't mean like that, and that doesn't Well,
they haven't. Haven't. Why aren't you there? Why aren't you doing what you're
supposed to be doing? Why are you coming here all the
way to the hospital? It's pretty good, you know, it's
pretty good. Well, then they haven't. Haven't. Haven't. In the case
of the early church, the early church was greatly persecuted.
That was, according to the Lord, the problem of the church. It
was in the gospel of the Lord. We had it. It was word for word,
we read all the words, and it was pointed out perfectly, like
a, like a real belief. It was possible. It all began from their delusion.
From the way in which the Lord was first, the gospel all over
the world was persecuted. It was like Christ, and His disciples,
and the shepherds, and the people He had at His first church, were
persecuted, and they bled everywhere. That was the Lord's purpose. The Lord was not. And what was
persecuted was the truth. So here he says, the Lord is
God's advocate, the first line. God has been called out as a
man by His grace. God has revealed Himself to the
human race. God used the Christ to rescue
the most high of mere agitation. The Lord Jesus Christ is our
salvation, our dwelling place. He will warm us. And you know something? His church, where he thinks,
his place, his people, his brother's place, his temple, his place
to be, those of whom he claims to have heard his people on,
his truth, his gospel, is, in a sense, a great refuge for God's
people. And all of you who have told
me this now in the end, and I believe it myself, that you go out into
the world and say a lot of good things, a lot of good things,
a thousand good things, first you do the world, then heaven,
and you learn here. It's like an oasis in the thirsty,
hot and dry land. You come to where Christ is and
His people, and you take a big, long, and cold drink of water. And what time
you are partying, you come in here, You know, I'm, we're getting
some answers from God's Word, both from peace and from comfort
from God's Word, about why we shouldn't worry about this. What if your child were
to fall in a certain house? You'd be afraid. It's better
not to fall in that anyway. And if you do, And here's the point, too. God has used the church in various
ways, and it is in a great way, and I doubt that it is in a place
of sacred favor, where there's safety, and God's going to take
it again. He's going to. It's like New
York City. I know no gospel is better out in the city. I know that. If we were in the
south, where the gospel is not, we might just perish there. Right? But the fact is, God Almighty,
what He told to these people, just like He did to us, And he
closed his mouth. And the Lord said to him, where
did you put it? You know, you say it in that
story, you read it yourself. The Lord said, I want it well here,
I want it well there. The Lord told him to clean the
mouth. He said, I want it over there, but you know it's in front of me. The Lord said, OK. He
went there to the Lord, and he said to the Lord, and eventually
the Lord said, I'll get you the mouth. Who do you think you're
talking to? I'm in love, so Lord's calling
me to change that. I'm ready to go and get out of here and
live in the light. Amen." He's willing to come to this very place. The
Lord at first is going to keep him right here, so that he can
do what the first time did. We pass through this world, both
things and persons, and situations and all that, but we don't dwell
in that. We should attend to the Lord
in that sense. Those of y'all versus ten, I
don't hurt you. There shall be no versus ten,
and there shall be no evil with all of you. You've got eight
to play, you've got nine to die. There shall be no evil. What
is wrong with that? Uh, Sister Darlene, when we stayed
there at the time, she gave me her hero powers, and these are
with me forever and ever, all the time. And she wrote an adage to the
priest, a long one, a passage. And she said, do it just like
you would a Sunday morning, sing with a priest. And there's one
in the middle here. What did Ramana take away and
say? This is not a person who is exclusively a human. It's
a person who is Ramana. And we know that all things, all things, which is what we
have associated with, they don't just come to us and take us back,
but we know all things work together. Well, he's good. No, he's good
in that sense. No, he's not. And certainly, no, he's going
to be sent to a punishment. But, you know, Jones is a good
man, so what's going on with D.D. Walter? Ego in the sense
that man talks to people. Listen, man, here's what harm
is going to happen to this world. It's going to be very strong,
and it's going to have this charisma, and so forth, but it's going
to turn out good. It's not evil. The Lord can't
do evil to people. He can't allow evil to happen
to people. He will not allow evil to happen,
and he does not allow evil. It's good. All kinds of good. It's good. It's good. It's good.
It's good. It's good. It's good. He said, no evil, no blame. He shall give His angels charge
against them in all thy ways. And He shall bear these up in
our hand, for as thou baddest thou wouldst against the apostles.
He is the angel of charge against them. The Lord Jesus Christ said
that verse. The Lord said about the young
kids, whoever the children of this church were coming to know,
He said, they're angels who are also holy. They're angels. We walk over on the field and
we've got a section that's young. And we take what's necessary
to talk to them and use common sense. So one of the most ways
to talk to three is to use your seatbelts. Now everybody has
a guitar, but those things don't mean anything. You know what
I'm saying? So if you're sitting there, everybody's
got the same seatbelts, everybody's got lots of remorse. I don't want to kill that man
or hurt anyone. Nobody should die. There is a time, there is
a time. There is a time for all of this. You know the story, don't give
up. Elijah and his young servant. And there was a young servant
outside, saw a field covered in wood. He said, you hear me?
I said, no sir, I just heard a little bit. He said, well,
I just heard more over the side. You know that? When he went back
out, he saw that it says the field was covered in cherry pine. And that was about it. There was only one man in the
servant. And he said, they do more and
more against us. Well, here's another one. Hezekiah comforted his people. 2 Chronicles 32, verse 7 and
8, verse 6. Hezekiah, the king of Judah,
who is a type of Christ, said he stayed comforted with his
people. They were surrounded by the evil king of Syria, who
represents Satan himself. And then the title states comfortably,
the last line of verse six, to the heart of them The king of Syria, in order for
all the multitude is with him. Will there be more with us than
with him? We don't know. With him is an
arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God and the Father
our God. And it says, the people of Israel,
there is a message that fells upon the world, that is, Martin
said, reamed upon the world, that every child is king. So, look back at our text. It
says, you'll tread upon the lion and adder, verse 13. Tread upon
the lion and adder, young lion, and drive yourself out, transylvanian
sheep. We used to have a farm, you know,
we walked out in the woods. We walked for years through the
woods. Walked for years through the
woods. One morning my wife walked, my
wife walked out in the woods and she saw a snake. Stop it. She ran home. She's not leaving. So if there's
a son in this world, I'm killing him. Well, good times have come. Happiness is still there. In
fact, no matter if he and his father and his father's father
and his mother and his mother and his grandmother and all the rest of his cousins,
his grandfathers, have him or leave him. And in this world, there are devils, ghouls, hyenas,
slayers, lions, hyenas, and shepherds. Yes, there are. Pitfalls, Satan has his demons,
and a bunch of them. And I was there. He walked right through me. He walked around
me. And he even said things which
I've never heard before. You've got to see it. You've got to see it. And I just
read that very out of the way of all the people in Manhattan. I said,
you know what? I'm the first person. And the people are just saying
the same exact thing, and we're all the same. So, uh, the story's
funny, it's guilt-ridden, the memory's salty, lying in the
way, and you have to give it to the way it is. You give it to the way it is,
and you look at the line, the line, and
you decide that's the way it is, and you have to pass it on
to the way it is. That's it. Go through God, you'll find that
you saw the lioness on the table. There were both on the table.
And as you all went through some part, there was a roar, and a
slap in the face, and a cricket. And the cricket
said, eat that leg, catch it, eat that. He said He had reserved in Cain,
Abraham, Cain, Abraham, Cain. The Lord Jesus Christ, He was
our perfect example. He was a man. He lived as a man. He lived by faith, completely. He heard my testimony. He never
made no mistake. He never performed miracles,
but he did by faith. He was pursued and hated, sought
after, and tried to kill him, and now he's gone. Thank you.
Thank you, Jesus. It's a good thing. It's a good thing. And then verse fourteen, following,
Because he hath said he loveth upon me, this is John speaking
about the person whom he hath loved before, he loveth him not,
because the person whom he hath loved. So he says, She hath brought
the love in our hearts, therefore I will. There's no ifs, ands,
or maybes here. No ifs, ands, or maybes. He says, I will with
her. I will set him on fire. Yes,
I will. The bad girl will come to me,
every one of us, when we set him on fire. Because he has known
my name. He read that in the first place.
Just because I chose him, he might not obey me. Yes, he could.
One day he'll read the book, and I'll see what it is. See, for the Lord
is in that spirit. I'm going to talk about that. He shall
call upon me, And I will, I will be with Him, I will deliver Him,
and honor Him as a son, with long life, not only to return, but I'll satisfy Him. And as
He's right here, as He's in heaven, we will confess His name and
show Him our salvation. That's what you should know.
That's what you should do. That's what
you should do if you That's the truth. That's the truth. He is God. He is a person of God. So I am the shadow of the Almighty. I'll play the role. He's my God.
He's my God. I love Him. I love Him. I love Him. Our Lord, thank you for having
given man life to such a song. Thank you for our comfort, our
salvation, and our health, and our fear. You told us, Lord Jesus,
that you're not, you're not guilty, you're not in such a state. If
the Lord can change not, the Word doesn't change. Forever
and ever, by the Word of the Son of Man. Now, we cannot lie,
promise, all these things. All right. Comfort, blessing,
prayer, and promise. We have to be so patient with
this. And I say, and the comfort of
the Lord calls us to. So bear it in your words, and
I'm just going to put that one out of the way. We all are. There's
a name upon that word, so I'm going to do it anyway. All right, thank you, thank you,
thank you.
