Those of you who like special
music and lots of singing, I apologize. But we cannot be accused of majoring
on music and minoring on preaching. It's my fault. I want to get
to preaching as quick as I can because I'm anxious. I like special
every now and then. I have fully intended to have
them. And I've told a few to work it
up, work something up. But sometimes I just like that.
And singing is good. Singing is good preparation. It's scriptural, biblical, good
preparation for worship. But this is what the Lord uses
right here. OK, turn with me in your Bible
to Matthew 27. Matthew 27. Let's read the text this morning,
Matthew 27, verses 62 through 66. Now, the next day, that is on Saturday, the day after our
Lord was crucified, the day that followed the day of the preparation.
chief priests and Pharisees came together on the Pilate saying,
Sir, Lord is what they used, Lord, we remember that that deceiver,
speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ, that deceiver said while he was
yet alive, after three days I will rise again. Command therefore
They said to Pilate, command, give the order that the sepulchre,
the grave, be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples
come by night and steal him away, and say unto the people, he is
risen from the dead, so the last error shall be worse than the
first. So Pilate gave the order. sent
someone gave the order and rounded up some men and he said unto
them you have a watch there go your way make it as sure as you
can. So they went and made the sepulchre
sure sealing the stump and setting a watch there. Well, in verse sixty-two, it
said the next day, Saturday. Now, this was the Sabbath day,
and the Lord Jesus Christ had died the previous day, gave up
the ghost. So, as far as they knew, his
body was lying, he was lying dead in the tomb on Saturday. Saturday. Now, for those of you
who are good listeners, and know a little bit about the scripture.
The Lord God ordered this, that he lay in that grave on the Sabbath
day, because Romans 7 verse 4 says, We are dead to the law by the
body of Christ. And this is not my subject. However,
that's something worth noting, that the Lord lay there apparently
dead on the Sabbath that he arose on the first day of the week.
Why do we meet together on the first day? And why do we call
it the Lord's Day? This is why. We don't make a
law out of it, mind you. This is not a new Sabbath, a
Christian Sabbath. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Christ is
our Sabbath. We rest in him, not a day. You
know worship a day we don't observe a day for the sake of the day
we observe a day for the sake of Christ. But did you he lay apparently
dead on the Sabbath because scripture said everything is to fulfill
script that we are dead see we were crucified with him buried
and we're dead to the law by the body of Christ. There are
no more ordinances against the laws that this is not my son.
But it's a good one and. Christ took those ordinances
fulfilled them all and nailed them on the cross. John says
paid in full. Kept. Now shout kept that shot
not kept. Do this kept do that kept. Do this and live kept to for
himself no for me. in Christ that kept the law.
That's why. And then he laid in the grave
on the Sabbath day showing us it doesn't apply to you. It doesn't apply to you. You're
dead to the law. That old schoolmaster, that old husband you have? No. You're married to another. All right. So that's a good little
footnote, isn't it? Wonderful. And. You know the religious this religious
nation we live in like these Pharisees. It is full of this
religious nation is full of those who fancy that they keep the
law. They really do think they do how ignorant they are. I wish
I had more compassion on them. I really do. They're just plumb
ignorant. They don't keep the law. There
are so many who fancy themselves to be priests and holy people,
the way they wear, you know, in Rome or even Roman
Catholicism, they wear long robes. Well, in some Baptist place,
they wear long beards, you know, a sign of our holiness. No, it's
not. It's a sign of your ignorance. There's one robe you need to
be wearing. They plucked out his beard, John. What's that
all about? He's not a Levitical priest.
Well, let's go on. Verse 62 says that next day, the chief priests,
the Pharisees, came together to Pilate. They had a meeting.
They like to do this, religious leaders, all the ecclesiastical
heads and all that. They love to have these meetings,
synods, it was called years ago with Martin Luther, the synods
of Dort. Places, things like that, gathering,
meetings. They love to hold councils. And
they got together, and they feel like if they all get together,
that Barnard used to say, gang up on God, that God will surely
hear them. Strength in numbers, you know.
No, he won't. God hears one, and all those
who come through him only. Right? between God and man, the man,
the great potentate. We have a potentate, all right,
one who forgives our sins, one we confess all things to. You
don't have to go in a little booth to do it. And he's not sitting in Rome,
he's sitting in heaven. And he absolves us of all our
sins. Our Father, who art in heaven,
Holy and Reverend is his name. Well, these chief priests and
Pharisees got together, and they had planned a great conspiracy.
The title of this message is, Make It As Sure As You Can, or
subtitle, and Sam, if you want to try to get all this on the
tape, fine. Subtitle is, The Great Conspiracy and Attempted
Cover-Up. The Great Conspiracy and Attempted
Cover-Up. They got together. And they had
this meeting. Well, we read, didn't we just
read in Psalm 2, the Lord said they're going to do this. Kings
of the earth, rulers gather together, they meet together. Why? What
are they doing? They say they're doing what they're
doing in the name of God. These men did. They called themselves
men of God, didn't they? Oh, we're doing this for the
glory of God. They were against the Lord and
against his Christ, his anointing. That's what we read, didn't we,
in Psalm 2? Why are they, he said, why are the heathen raved?
People imagine a band. What's all this rage, all this
tumultuously assembled? What's all this going on today
in religion? Why all this? What's everybody doing? They're
gathering together in the name of the Lord, but they're against
him. That would shock the religious
world, wouldn't it, to hear that? It did then. It did then. John, they all came out, all
these Pharisees, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, they all
came out to hear John preach, and John stood up. Now here they
all came to hear John the Baptist preach. They knew he was a prophet. And Roy John stood up and pointed
his finger at them and said, for me to go on your life. The Lord. Every time the scribes
and Pharisees come to hear him he'd say beware of those scribes
and Pharisees and a bunch of hypocrites. And they. Have their
face. And so all the while it will
give us a go silence him. He's going to put us out of a
job. If people start trusting him and looking to him, if people
start worshipping him, they'll quit worshipping us. We've got
to get rid of this fella. Oh, we know he's of God. He couldn't
do the thing he does unless he's of God, but we still don't like
him. That's what they did. We know what he's saying is true,
but we don't like him. Well, they got together, and
the Psalm 62, 4 says, they only consult to cast him down from
his excellency. Jeanette, that's what they're
doing. It's subtle. Not to us, it's not. We can clearly
hear all the man glory in it, can't we? We can see the man
up there getting all the glory, can't we? They meet together. Our Lord says they draw near
with their lips. He kept saying this. They draw near with their
lips. Praise Jesus. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Who's getting the praise? Here's this girl singing up there.
She's singing, got her tears running down her face. She's
looking toward heaven. Everybody's just, oh, they're just so moved.
Chills running up and down their spines. You know, she's singing
about her love for Jesus. who's getting the glory. Oh, I love that old preacher
John John Barnard John Parker. Evangelist John Barnard Rolf
Barnard he was John's he was a John the Baptist us the Lord
used in my life to save a bunch of air. Lord use him brother Roy he'd
be preaching in so-called churches of the Baptist churches and the
preacher's wife would be over here playing the organ or the
break down quick quick play and say I'm lost. Preacher's wife. You know what that did. Happened all the time during
that man's one time. And he said what need to be said. One time a girl did that, got
up to sing, you know, how they love to sing and how sister,
brother and sister Jones love for their little Sally to stand
up and sing in front of everybody, you know. She got such a good
voice. So she stood up to sing and sang her little song and
Barnard was scheduled to pray. And he got up right after that
and he said, little girl, He said, Honey, that wasn't nothing
but the flesh. And it was. It showed. It showed. And our Lord exposed these fellows,
and they need to be exposed. They need to be exposed. And
they meet together for the praise of man. You know they do. Man's
will, man's choice, man's works, man's this, man's that. A man's
preaching. church. Our church does this,
this, that. No. That's what it's all about. Great. And here's the great attempted
cover-up. These fellas got together to
cover up, to try to keep what Christ had said from coming to
pass. To cover up the Word of God.
That's what, that's why they got together. Oh, well, did Jeremiah
the prophet say, they steal my words from the people. to tell
their dreams, and so forth. They keep my word back. Our Lord
said, lay aside the commandment of God for the tradition of men.
Lay it aside. Put it over here. This is generally
just a prop that men use. That's right. They stand up and
they open this thing so that people think they're preaching
out of it. They're not preaching out of it. And then they walk off to the
side. over here and carry on big time. And you end up impressed
with them. You hadn't heard a word God said. Well, this is what happened here. This is what is happening here.
I'm in contact. I'm staying in contact. And they
were trying to keep quiet what Christ said. So they went to
their king. They went to Pilate, who was
their king. They said, we have no king but Caesar. This Jesus
is not our king. We have no king but Caesar and
Pilate, his underling, is our Lord. Verse 63, it says, They
said to Pilate, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while
he was yet alive, after three days I will rise again. We heard
him say that. We were there. We heard him preach
quite often. We heard him say that. We didn't believe it. In
fact, we didn't believe anything he said. We didn't fall for any
of it. A lot of people did, not us. Right, Sam? A lot of these poor, ignorant
people, these sinners out there, all these bunch of working-class,
no-good, ignorant, poor, helpless, hopeless, know-nothing sinners
now, he's a friend of theirs. They go to his house, he goes
to their house, and they all receive him, and he receives
them, not us. We didn't fall for this. We heard him all right, but we
didn't believe him. He said a lot of things we heard,
but we rejected it. We believe he's just a man. He's
no different than any other man. And what he said, we could take
it or leave it. And he said this preposterous thing. He said that
three days later, he would rise out of that grave. So they said,
Mr. Pilate, sir, Lord, verse 64. Command, give the order, therefore,
that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day. Send somebody
to guard or watch the grave, lest his disciples come by night,
and steal his body, steal him away, and say unto the people,"
they're going to start a rumor, a great conspiracy that they
will have, they'll say, he's risen from the dead, and so the
last error will be worse than the first. This thing will just
blow up and explode all over the place. And he will never
get rid of this. So send your best man. Would
you send your best men? We've got to keep this thing
quiet. We've got to keep this lie from spreading. Lest the
last error be worse than the first. Now listen carefully.
All that men say and do will be used against them. What is that we use? Miranda rights. What you say
can and will be used against you. The Lord said, by a man's
words he'll be justified, or by a man's words he'll be condemned.
I love how that God Almighty already wrote down what they
would, all that they would say and do. The wrath of man praises him.
When they said things like this, when they said 180, when they'd
say things like this, well, who can forgive sins but God? You're right. When they said,
this man receiveth sinners. Oh, no sweeter words have ever
been heard by a sinner. He saved others, himself he can't
save. That's right. He did save others. All that he came to save. How'd
he do it? By not saving himself. Well, things like that. Well,
they said the last error would be worse than the first. It is.
The first error. All conspirators, and mankind,
all mankind is a conspirator. Mankind is out to, starting with
Adam, bring God down from his throne. That's right. That's
in man. Man wants to reign and be his
own little god, doesn't he? Start with Adam and all his posterity,
all conspirators. Satan, that's who it really started
with, wasn't it? Satan said, Satan said, I have
a free will and I'm going to exercise it. Didn't he? Isaiah
14, you've read it, you said, I will. God said, no you won't. I will. Didn't it, Kelly? God said, I will do all my good
pleasure. And you will do all my good pleasure. No, I won't. Watch. The first error that all mankind
and conspirators say, do, is not to believe the Son of God,
not to believe the Word of God. Whatever he said, you better
believe it. Everything he said, you better
believe it. He said it. And now listen, and this is important.
Somewhat we can't believe some of the things our Lord said,
not all of what he said. You can't believe John 3, 16.
Oh, I love that's my favorite verse. I love that. Oh, how I
love that. And not believe John 3, 36. You can't believe our Lord said,
in that cometh to me, I'll know wise cast out. That's just part
of a verse, isn't it? You've got to quote it all. You've
got to love it all. All that the Father giveth me shall come
unto me, and him that cometh to me, hallowed no wise cast
out. Right? You can't just believe
part of what he said. Oh, I love Jesus as my helper, my healer,
my friend. He gives me what I need. He healed
me. He does this. He does that. But he has the
power to save you or damn you. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. That's
not my Jesus. Yes, it is. Oh, the love of God. I love the
love of God. The love of God. God is love.
God is love. God is love. Yes, He is. But you can't believe
part of His character and not believe all of it. Right? You can't have God the way you
want Him. You have Him as He is. You bow to Him as He is. First error is to reject the
Word of God and the sovereign claims of the Lord Jesus Christ,
the Son of God. The last error is to try to cover
it up. Are you with me? I'm trying to ring a bell here. The
last error is to cover it up. See men, hear and see and read
the Word of God and it's as plain as the nose on your face. It
really is now, it's plain. God said, I'm God, beside me
there's none else. You're not God. What do you mean
God is God? That's exactly what it means.
He's God, you're not. What does that mean? He will,
you can't. That's what that means. God says, I will, you try. You
can't. I will. Well, what's the difference
between your God, David, and my God? My God's in the heavens.
He's not standing outside your door, hoping you'll let him in.
He's sitting on the circle of the earth. It's his footstool. What does your God do? Whatever
he pleases. Not what men will let him. Not
what men get together and decide he can do. He does as he pleases,
with whom he pleases, because he pleases, and nobody can do
a thing about it. That's the God of the Bible.
I won't have that God. He is your God. You don't have
him now, you don't confess that now, you don't bow, but someday
you will be forced. We will. Every knee will bow. Every tongue confess. He is what?
Capital L, capital O, capital R, capital D. That means absolute
sovereign. For some, it's too late. But
for some, by the mercy and grace of God, he mercifully bows their
knee now. Opens their eyes to see who you
are, God, aren't you? Thou art God, aren't you? And you're my God. And Christ is God. The last area
is try to cover it up. Twist, corrupt, abuse God's Word,
try to cover one's self, cover one's unbelief, try to cover
one's sin. Ooh, man. Brother William used
to love that illustration about the hospital gown, didn't he?
Gladys, I got moved. I loved it more than him, because
I love to tell it. Most of you have worn a hospital
gown before, haven't you? It seems to cover it, doesn't
it? You put up a good front. But be careful, you're going
to reveal yourself. The slightest movement, and you're
going to show what you really are. Right? I look good, don't I? How are
you feeling? Feel fine, look good. Well, you're
looking good. Well, thank you. Oh, you look like everybody else. You strip everything off of people.
Well, you all look the same, though, neck and center. all the makeup, and all the garb,
and all this, and ain't nobody. It's not a person without spot
or blemish. Undone. That's the reason I say
I believe the Lord didn't have a spot or blemish physically.
Well, try to cover oneself by whatever religion or whatever
it may be. That last error is worse than
the first. Do not believe God's bad. And
then try to cover up and try to go to God all covered up.
Twist and corrupt and make God's Word say what it doesn't say.
And stand and say, here I am. It's going to be worse for you. Better to come clean. Come naked.
Just strip yourself. Come naked. Here I am. Well, these fellas, these Pharisees,
scribes, chief priests, brothers, I keep hearing that, chief priests,
they killed the great high priest. The great high priest. After
the order of Melchizedek. Killed him. But they had names,
they had reputations, they had jobs, they had a lot of money.
They worked a lifetime of religious service. They gathered a lot
of money and had a lot of reputation and what they were thinking.
Honestly, if this is what everything he says is true, people don't
need us. That's right. And we'll be out of a job. It'd
be better off, the world would be better off. So they came to Pilate and they
said, you keep, you send some men. So Pilate chose his best
men. Pilate had some great big soldiers, rough, tough, strong
fellows that they were able to conquer countries. He sent them
out, strong-armed men. So he sent his best men, biggest,
strongest, meanest, baddest dudes he had to guard this tomb. Now look at it, verse 65, Pilate
said to them, there, you have a watch, go your way, now make
it as sure as you can. Make it sure. So they did. Verse 66. They set the seal.
Is it sure? Yep. We're sure. The stone is
sealed, right? Right. No one's coming in here. No one's getting in this tomb. Somebody's coming out. We got the outside seals, got
it covered. Nobody's getting in here, unless
we say so. Somebody's coming out. I bet they thought nobody's getting
over my dead body. That's exactly what's going to
happen. They got together to try to keep
men from getting in when they should have feared the one inside
that tomb, the one who's coming out. And they will soon be quaking
in his presence. I wanted to get to it. Next Sunday
we're going to get to it. Chapter 28. This great stone,
it took several, many men to roll this stone over the door
and they sealed it. Several men watching it, sealing
it. One angel. He was sitting on it. And can't you hear God laughing? He that sitteth in the heavens.
Are you sure? Make it sure. They're not coming in. This thing's
not going to happen as He said it was. He that sitteth in the
heavens. It'd be like me walking through
my yard and a bunch of ants. You can't come through here.
Bunch of ants get together. Million. Million. Two million. Billion. Think three billion
ants could stop me? Ten billion. Huh? They might
bite my heel. I'm going to step on a bunch
of them. I'm going to stop them. We've decided. You can't come
in here. He that sitteth in the heaven.
And men all over the world are getting together today deciding
what they need to do for Jesus and what they're going to let
God do. Won't you let him be, Lord? Won't he be? He that sitteth
in the heaven's land. Ants, grasshoppers. Grasshopper. That's what Isaiah 40, verse
22 says. The inhabitants of the earth
are reputed as grasshoppers. All the grasshoppers getting
together. We're going to let God. You know, men would be better
off if they would hold a great big meeting together and try
to keep the sun from coming up tomorrow. Let's go ahead. Let's
get together. We've decided to keep the sun
from shining. You'd be better off than to keep
the S.O.N. from raining. the son of righteousness, king
of kings, and Lord of glory. They said he's coming again.
All these simple disciples, they all say he's coming again, don't
they? That's what they said in Peter 1 and 2 Peter 3. He said,
scoffers and mockers in the last days, you know. They laugh, they
scoff, they laugh. Boy, Kelly, he that laughs last,
laughs best. And they all get together and
mock and say, where's the promise of his coming? I know he said
he's coming again. The year 2000 went by, we think. And it went by, nothing happened.
And all things continue as they have. We just don't believe he's coming.
Are you sure? Yeah, we're sure. Are you real
sure? Better make sure. So they get
out their telescopes. I make it fun. Get out their
billion, trillion-dollar telescope, Hubble, you know. And every now
and then they'll malfunction. It'll cost us several billion
dollars. And what they're doing is looking into outer—these are
our brilliant, wise men, you know—looking into outer space,
into black holes. with these zillion-dollar telescopes. These are our best. They're making
sure, folks. They're making sure. What do
you see? I don't see God. You sure? No, no God. We looked into black holes, and
we don't see Him. Are you sure? You better make sure, because
if He is, You're in a world of hurt, buddy. If you had a lick of sense, you'd
just look at your thumb instead of black holes. Just
look at your thumb, and you'd see there is a God. Come on. No God. Yep, that's
it. This is not God's word. We've
convinced all of our experts have got together and we are
sure this is just a bunch of Jewish fable written by a bunch
of con man of greatest conspiracy ever. perpetrated on mankind
with a bunch of Jewish fishermen, got together and decided to write
this book. And the worst one of all was
this fellow named Jesus. And he came down and said he
came from God. But now we are sure, our experts, our Bible
experts have got together, and we are sure that this is not
God's Word. Are you sure? Yes, you'd better
make sure. Make it sure as you can. Yeah,
we're sure. We all got together, and we have
absolutely concluded It is not. Don't you hear laughter? Brother Henry, we are sure, aren't
we? How can you be so sure? The one
who wrote it. You see, he hid these things
from them. He's got them looking. Hath not
God made foolish, Tammy, the wisdom of this world? God's got
them looking at black holes. Have you stopped and thought
about that? We keep giving them money, Roy,
to do what? Look at holes. Why? To prove no God. That's
what it's all about, great conspiracy. Has anybody seen the irony of
this other than me, the utter absurdity? I believe Paul laughed
when he wrote that. Paul was the greatest, the most
wisest man on earth at the time. He said, God has made another
fool out of man. his wisdom and all that. The
weakness of God, what they call is stronger than man. The foolishness
of God is wiser than man. He said, bring on these fellows.
Where are these scribes? Where are they? Bring them on.
Hath not God made foolish all of them? Are you sure? He's not God's son. He's just
a man. We found a tomb. We found a tomb that we believe
is Jesus' tomb, and there's bones in it. You know something? There
were bones in that tomb. They belonged to Joseph of Arimathea. How many bones did you find?
One cent. Anybody with me here? One cent. Yeah, there's Jesus. No. He was
in there. And then later they put Joseph
of Arimathea in there. That's the bones you found, you
think. Digging up bones. 2,000 years old. This is it. We're starting of it. Well, religious
world is worse. Religious world says, everybody,
they say, God loves you. Are you sure? Yeah, we're sure. We can go out and help anybody
and everybody no matter how who they are what they are no matter
if God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life are you. You better make sure. You better make sure. Yeah Jesus died for that paper
there are saying everybody say God for everybody so he paid
paid it all. Are you sure. They're making
sure. Yeah, we've got together, got
our best men together, and we're all just sure. Do you know of another verse
of Scripture that talks about something being sure and sealed? Would you go in closing with
me to 2 Timothy chapter 2? And what we're doing, and you
know, this is in context. The Lord is mocking these fellas
who thought they were going to keep him quiet. Thought they
were going to keep the Lord of Glory from rising from the grave.
Life. Thought they were going to keep
this thing from spreading. And God Almighty is laughing.
and. Having them in the region and
the whole religious hasn't changed men have changed the religious
leaders have changed they're all still meeting together to
conspire together kind of cover up the truth they agree together
they make a covenant scripture said with hell and death they
believe with all the heart they believe with all their heart
they all believe the same thing what lies. And the truth is coming out.
Hear me. The truth is coming out. Who is the truth? This scripture here in 2 Timothy,
look at this, in closing, this is great. You might jump a few,
that would be fine. 2 Timothy, if I can find it,
where is it? There it is, 2 Timothy 2. It
says in verse 18, "...some concerning the truth have erred, saying
that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith
of some. Nevertheless, the foundation
of God standeth sure, having this seal." The Lord knoweth them that are
His. See, the foundation of God, which
is what? Christ Himself. The Lord Jesus
Christ, that foundation which no man can lay, which God laid,
that cheap cornerstone, Christ Himself, who was with Him from
the beginning, the eternal Son of God, came sent by God down
to this earth to do a work. Sent by God. God who says, I've
spoken and I'll do it. God who sent Him to do a work.
Go, save my people. He came down to save His people.
Did He do it? Not unless we make it. He said,
I finished the work. Last words he said, loud for
heaven and earth, that I have finished it. It's finished. Son of God, sent by the foundation
of light. And every stone, Brother John,
will be laid on that stone. Not one's coming off. This is
the foundation. Christ Himself, the foundation
of God stands sure. Having this seal. God sealed it. See, God wrote
a book, the Lamb's Book of Life, put all the names of God's people,
like those twelve tribes of Israel, on the shoulder and the breastplate
and in the palms of His hand, put those names in that Lamb's
Book of Life, sent Christ down here to save every last one of
them, every first and last one of them. And He did just that. God sealed the book, all the
names were in it, sealed it. And in the end, one person is
going to open it up. It has never been opened until the end of
time. Not going to be any additions or subtractions. And who is it? The one who sealed it in his
own blood, the Lord Jesus Christ. He's worthy. He's the only one
worthy. He's going to open that book and read the names. And
every one of them will be there. All the children which thou hast
given me. Stan Anderson. Here, Patrick Holley. Here, don't you hope your name's there,
huh? Here's another one, give diligence to make your call in
an election, what? Sure. Stephen Parks. Here, every one of them. Here present account. Yes, Sir, foundation stand. Sure,
what is the foundation? God is God. His eternal covenant and purpose
ordered in all things and what? Sure. And Christ sent to accomplish
that head of the covenants, the testator of the will. The inheritor,
the first born, came down here to fulfill it. Did he do it?
Absolutely. Sealed it. The foundation of
God, Christ himself. It all stands or falls on him,
doesn't it? Did he do it? Stephen said, I
see. Stephen looked and I read that
this morning. Oh, Stephen said, I look, he said, I, he said,
he looked steadfastly toward heaven and saw the glory of God.
What did he see? He said, I see the Son of God
standing at the right hand of God, the Son of Man. There's
the foundation. Stand sure, he's elected. The
Lord knoweth them that are his. How does he know them? He elected
them. He chose them. Stand sure. All
the elect, all the foreknown, have been predestinated they
will be called by his grace they will and are have been shall
be justified and they have been will be shall be forever glorified. See. Send the Holy Spirit. And have they believed the gospel
and whom they trusted and have this seal. Call the gospel They've been
sealed by it. And they're coming out because
Christ came out. So are they. The Lord's going
to come in broad, not by night, but in broad daylight and take
them away. He did when the sun rose the
first day of the week, dawn. We're going to see. Oh, He didn't
do this by night. He did it for all to see. He
came out. We don't believe that he's coming
again. Are you sure? He's coming and take us out of
this grave. Let's turn to him number 228
and stand. We'll sing the first and last
verse of 228.
