And I want to get my subject from verses 38 and 39. Be it known unto you therefore,
men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you
the forgiveness of sins, and by him all that believe are justified
from all things from which you could not be justified by the
law of Moses. Now when preachers get up to
preach, I'm talking about real preachers, preachers preaching
the gospel of God's free grace, preaching the Lord Jesus Christ,
they don't get up and shoot at the dark. They're not, they don't
just, they got aims, they got goals in their preaching. We
have a subject and we want that subject to have a starting place
middle place and an ending place we don't draw a bow at a venture
and this apostles message here gives us a perfect illustration
of what I'm talking about now he started preaching at Antioch
if you remember it said in verse 14 when they departed from Perga
they came to Antioch in Pisidia and he went into the synagogue
and sat down and they asked him if he had anything to say Well,
the apostle got up and he had a starting place. He had his
starting place, but he had one place that he wanted to go. One
place he wanted to bring all of his heirs to go. And he wanted
to bring them to a verdict concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. And the
first thing he did, he started with a history of redemption. How God redeemed Israel and brought
them out. The great judgment of God upon
all the nations. And then he gave the story of
the blessed cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. And he says, he
told them there, he says, you know that they took him at Jerusalem.
The prophets was read every day. And the scriptures were read
every Sabbath day and yet they wanted him crucified because
they did not know what the prophets said. Did not understand what
was written in the scriptures. And they demanded that Pilate
should sentence him to death. And they did. And they did. Then he talked about his blessed
resurrection. It said in verse 29, and I love
this thing right here. And when they had fulfilled all
things that was written of him. And you know it said in John
19.38, when all the scriptures were fulfilled, then our Lord
Jesus cried in, it's finished. When everything that was written
of him was through, that's when he died. Then God raised him
from the dead. And then he talked about the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. What a blessed resurrection.
God raised him again from the dead. And he appeared to many,
many brethren. And all those brethren are witnesses
of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary went and ran
and told Simon Peter, said, I've seen the Lord. And then when
they, the mass rode after they got back, they run back and said,
Simon has seen the Lord. So he's not dead and he pressed
these truths of the judgment of the history of redemption,
how God redeemed Israel. He pressed, he went to the cross
and all that happened at the cross and why it happened at
the cross. And then he brought out the blessed resurrection
and then he came down to this conclusion right here. Be it
known that I preached unto you this man. I started with him
in the history of redemption about David. God raised up David. And he says, be it known unto
you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached
unto you the forgiveness of sins and by him all that believe are
justified from all things which you could not be by the law of
Moses. And I tell you something, men
are not going to apply the truth to themselves. They're not going
to do it. That's why we preach the gospel.
We who know it have to press these truths upon men's heart.
And he, everything that the apostle did, he was going after one subject,
one subject, and that was forgiveness. The forgiveness of sins. The
forgiveness of sins. And how them sins are forgiven.
And that's where he's shooting all of his arrows at. And that's
what his subject was. Look what he says. Be it known
unto you therefore, men and brethren, through this man is preached
unto you the forgiveness of sins. Anybody interested in having
their sins forgiven? Very few folks are sin arrested
in this subject. Some more, some less. Now if
you've never wronged God, if you've never wronged man, If
you've lived what you call a good life, a moral life, if you've
been a pretty good person, then you're not interested in the
forgiveness of sins. You're not interested in it at
all. But if you're like David, he says, I acknowledge my transgressions,
my sin is ever before me. He said, it's against you and
you only that I have sinned. And I tell you, our Lord Jesus
Christ, He came and that's what He came to do, to draw attention
to this business of forgiveness. Lord, if thou shouldest mark
iniquities, if God went through this congregation, went through
all the men of the earth, and He began to mark all of our iniquities,
began to mark all our sins, and to begin to call attention to
every one of them. He just has to call attention
to a few and he'll scare you, stir you up. But if he began
to go through and mark our iniquities, mark our transgressions, mark
our thoughts, mark our attitudes, mark our motives, mark our actions,
then who in the world would be able to stand? Who would be able to stand? And
that's why he immediately went on to say, but There is forgiveness with thee.
Why? That thou mayest be feared. And
I tell you what, are you interested in the subject of the forgiveness
of sins? That's what Paul was telling
about. He's preaching to a bunch of people that kept the law,
that felt they was good, and they didn't need Christ, and
yet they've crucified the Son of God. And I tell you what,
and this is the subject that we try to get out every time
we preach. There's an exclusive way. I'm
talking about exclusive. When I say exclusive, that means
that there's no other place that this can happen. The gospel has
an exclusivity about it. And what do I mean by that? That
there's only one way in the world that God will receive a man,
forgive his sins, and accept a man, and that's through this
man, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now that's exclusive. That means
that excludes everybody else, and it zeroes in on this one
man. You say, boy, that just don't
hard sound right. People say, well, you know, a
fella tell me the other day that this fella come out of Catholicism,
but he still thinks there's a few safe people in Catholicism. There's
not a safe human being in Catholicism. You can't be saved and believe
a Pope. You can't be saved and have to
go to a priest. Nobody can absolve another man
of his sins. No man can forgive another man
of his sins. There's only one person in this
universe and God bested all authority and power in His blessed name
and His blessed person. Say, you won't forgive us of
sins? Then you've got to come to this man right here. You won't
accept us with me? You've got to come to this man
right here. The Lord Jesus Christ. There's no other way. And folks
say, I hear people say all the time, different roads take you
different places. That's right, when you're going on a road.
But we're not going on a road. We're talking about acceptance
with God. We're not talking about traveling from one place to another.
There's several different ways you can get to different places,
but I'm telling you what, there's only one way to get to God. There's
only one way to have forgiveness of sin. Now, if you need a road map to
go from here yonder to that, but I tell you what, there's
no road map to this place. There's just one way. And you
cannot be confused about that. Oh, Tim, Tim, you said all the
time, when you talk about one, you can't be confused about one.
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one way to God, one way of forgiveness,
one way of acceptance. One Savior, one Redeemer, one
Mediator. You can't be confused about that,
can you? You know, I'll tell you
something. The Lord Jesus Christ has a monopoly on everything
that a sinner needs. You need mercy? He's the only
one that's got it. You need grace? He's the only
one that's got it. You need mercy? He's the only
one that's got it. You need righteousness? He's
the only one that's got it. You need forgiveness? He's the
only one that can give it. Ain't that right? I love that
about it, don't you? I love that about the gospel. You have only one place to go.
One person to deal with. One person to call on. I don't have to go half a dozen
different places. I don't have to burn candles. I don't have
to have somebody tell me how to live. I don't have to have
somebody tell me how to dress. I don't have to have somebody
tell me how to go here, yonder, and about. I've got one person
I have to deal with, and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, ain't that a wonderful thing?
Huh? Oh, listen. If you depend on
the mercy of God apart from the Lord Jesus Christ, you're standing
on a rotten board and a rotten foundation and it'll fall out
from under you. And people say all the time,
well, how can a God of mercy send good men to hell? Men ain't
good. There's none good. No, not one.
Now, we're not talking about good. Now listen to me. I'm talking
about our standing before God. If you read Psalm 14, God went
looking to see if there was any that understood. To see if there
was any that was good. If there was any that saw Him. And you know what the conclusion
was? There's none that understands. There's none that doeth good,
there's none that's righteous, and there's none that seeks after
me. No, not one. That's God's view. That's not your view, but that's
God's view. And I'll tell you what, let's
look with me at John chapter 10, just a minute. Let's look
at John chapter 10, just a minute. And you know, this is something, you know,
people want to tell you, you know, come up here and get on
this altar and get on this other thing and do this other thing.
And God, you know, if you'll take a step, then God will take
a step. If you'll make a move, then God will make a move. Dead
men can't make moves. God's got to give them life.
He's got to quicken them. He's got to save them. Look what he said
in John 10, 9. Talking about this, the Lord Jesus Christ,
the exclusivity of Him having a monopoly on this business.
Look what he said in John 10, 9. He said, I'm the door. I'm
the door. By me, if any man enter in, by
me. One door. By me. If any man enter in, look what
it says, he shall be saved. And then he'll go in and out,
he'll come in and out of the Lord's people with him and go
in and out and find pasture. Oh, this is condemnation that
life come into the world and men love darkness rather than
light. But he that believeth on the Son of God hath not condemnation,
but has life. You see, I'm telling you, beloved,
there's only one way that God will accept a man. God will forgive
him of his sins. That's through the Lord Jesus
Christ. Now, I want to show you something about this man. Look
with me in Hebrews chapter 7. through this one door Hebrews
chapter 6 God shows mercy to men He shows grace to men He
forgives men of their sins but He does it only through one way
through this man be it known unto you therefore men and brethren
that through this man what man? Jesus whom you crucified Jesus
who was put in the tomb Jesus Christ who was raised from the
dead Jesus Christ who many many witnesses saw him and went and
told everybody Look what he said in Hebrews 7 24. But this man, there we go again. But this man, because he continues ever, his
priesthood don't go from one to another. Now listen to it.
This man is able also to save them to the uttermost. And this
is the key right here. save them to the uttermost that
come unto God by him and all he ever lives to make intercession
for him let me show you another Hebrews 10 nothing about this
man God shows mercy to men shows grace to men forgives men but
only through one man the Lord Jesus Christ look what he said
here in verse 11 Hebrews 10. And every priest stands daily
ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which can
never take away sins. You know, back when we was in
legalism, back when we was in worse religion, back when we
was lost trying to save ourselves, we'd do everything in our power
to get rid of our sins, dress certain ways, go certain ways,
You know, we prayed, we got on altars, gave money, we went through
all that rigmarole, watched how women wore jewelry, just on and
on and on with all the things we tried to do to get rid of
our sins. And daily, over and over and
over, we never did get satisfaction, never did get peace for our conscience
over our sins, did we? Huh? We went through that for
years. Never got in, you know, you went
to all, you go to all, after all, after all, the preacher
said, come up here, come up here, you know, pray through and you
go up there and you say, oh, you go through all this figamaro.
And you get up and you still felt the pressure of sin. And
you go and ask God to forgive you and you do something good
and you do something bad. And you know, you say, well,
OK, I'll be all right for a while. But they're never, and that's
the way these priests were. They stood every day offering
sacrifices over and over and over and they never put away
sin. And anything we ever did never satisfied our conscience,
never brought peace to our heart. And then one day somebody came
to us and look what it says now. But this man After he had offered one sacrifice
for sins. Oh, somebody, you mean atoned
for sins? Somebody put away all my sins
once and for all? How'd he do it? By the sacrifice
of himself. And look what he said here. One
sacrifice for our sins set out on the right hand of God. Oh,
listen, you're talking about, you mean I don't have to do anything
anymore? No! Christ did it all, all to
him I owe. Now look what else it goes on
to say. From his forth expect until his enemies be made his
footstool. Well I'm not his enemies. Oh
no. And listen to this. For by one
offering, one offering, that one sacrifice for sins, for by
one offering he hath perfected. Did you hear that? Perfected
forever. How long is that? Long time. Who do you do that for? For them
that are sanctified. Why, why, why is this forgiveness
of sin and mercy and grace only vested in the Lord Jesus Christ?
I'm going to tell you. This is what I love about the
gospel. Nobody gets by with sin. Because God's justice would not
let God show mercy even to his elect because of their sins apart
from a substitute. There had to be a substitute.
Now you just keep going over to your right in 1 Peter chapter
3 and look at it with me just a moment. There has to be a substitute. God cannot in His justice forgive
any man's sin. He can't show mercy. He can't
show grace because of sin. So somebody has to pay for those
sins. Those sins must be punished.
Those sins must be paid for. And He must punish sin. His nature
necessitated. And yet at the same time, He
willed to show mercy. He willed to show grace. He willed
to forgive sin. So how can He forgive sin and
show mercy and show grace and at the same time punish us for
our sins and justice be satisfied? There's only one way to do it.
Look what He said in 1 Peter 3.18. For Christ also hath once suffered
for sins. He had no sin of his own. He
knew no sin. He was holy, harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners. Look what it says. Who did he
suffer sins for? He was the just, but he suffered
for sins for the unjust. That's me and you. That's me
and you. And why did he do that? That
he, he, he might bring us to God. How is he going to bring
us to God? By putting away our sins by the
sacrifice of himself. By burying our sins in his own
body on the tree. By being punished in our room
instead for our sins. So God can be just to forgive
us of our sins. Watch this. Being put to death
in the flesh. But oh, He is raised again from
the dead. And our Lord Jesus Christ came
into this world, was made a man for our sake. And I tell you,
beloved, I've done suffered the wrath of God for my sins. The
sword of justice has already been plunged into me. And it's
wiped its blood off and it put it back in its sheath. And the evidence and the witness
of it and the warn of it is the fact that my Lord Jesus Christ
sits at the right hand of God. You see that's the... A fellow
sent me an article the other day by a Keralite preacher. And
this Campbellite preacher, he used where Elizabeth was a righteous
man, and Simeon was a righteous man, and Zacharias was a righteous
man, you know, at the birth of Christ. And he used that, that
we have to be righteous in ourselves, and we've got to live a righteous
life. And we can live a righteous life.
And he went on and on about us living a righteous life, and
he said, if these people could live a righteous life, why couldn't
we? But you've got to find out where did they get their righteousness. Huh? When Isaiah 64, 6 said,
all of our righteousnesses are as a filthy rag. We're all an
unclean thing, whereas a leaf which doeth fade. So where did
Simon and Elizabeth and Simeon get their righteousness at? The
same place you and I did. The same place Abraham did. They
believed God. That scripture says they were
waiting for the consolation of Israel. Who's that? The Lord
Jesus Christ. Simeon when he saw the Lord Jesus
Christ as an eight-day-old infant after he had been offered as
a Took him to the temple and offered the firstborn and offered
the turtledoves for him Simeon walked over there and picked
up that baby and lifted him up in his arms. He said my eyes
Have seen my salvation Who is he talking about? He's looking
at an eight-day-old baby And he's looking at an eight-day-old
baby that had just been circumcised, and they offered a sacrifice
as they offered the firstborn unto the Lord. And they held
that eight-day-old baby wrapped up kind of like a little baby,
and he looked at it and said, My eyes seek your salvation. In
an instant. He said, Now I'm ready to die.
Just let me go on in peace now. I've seen all I need to see.
I've heard all I need to hear. I don't need anything else. And oh listen, God exacted from
our Lord Jesus Christ what He would have to exact from us.
upon his head was laid the curse of the law for cursing is ever
one that continues not in all things upon his back fell the
scourge of God's justice and holy law and that heart bled
with iron bleeding when he died on that cross and that's why
it says you know that he was wounded for our transgressions
His bruise for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace
was upon Him. The Lord took and laid on Him
the iniquity of us all. And it pleased the Lord to bruise
Him and make His soul an offering for sin. And He shall see His righteous
servant and shall justify many. Oh, substitution is the cause
of God's mercy. God will forgive sins because
the Lord Jesus Christ, this man, the Lord Jesus Christ, He paid
for the sin. He atoned for the sin. He suffered
for sin. He satisfied justice for sin. And I tell you, there's only
one way And I'm certainly thankful for one way. I probably told
you this story before, this illustration before, but this is a true story.
Back when the Romans ruled the world, there was a young Roman
soldier. They condemned him to death for violating discipline.
He didn't, all we'd do is get court-martialed, you know. But
they condemned him to death for violating discipline. Well, he
had an older brother. An old, old soldier. Been on
the front and the middle of the battles many, many times for
a country. And when he brought his brother
up there, his younger brother, up to condemn him and kill him, this old soldier, the
old soldier, the old brother, he came and he opened up his
and he took off his shirt and everything, and he showed all
the scars on his body, showed all of his medals, showed all
of his honors, and he said, I cannot ask for my brother's life on
anything he's ever done for his country, but look at my scars,
look at my wounds, look at my, what I, and except these, Accept
these scars, accept these wounds, accept my suffering for the price
of His life and please spare Him for my sake. And that's what our Lord Jesus
Christ does. Here's the evidence that we've
been forgiven. He told His disciples when He
appeared to them after His resurrection. See here in His eye, look at
my hands. Look at my feet. You think it ain't me? When's
the last time you saw anybody with nail prints in their hands? Nail prints in their feet? You
see, it's me. It's me. And then they had peace in their
hearts. They had the evidence. And when
we get to glory, you know what we're going to see? We're going
to see Christ as a lamb, as it had been slain. What a sight that's going to
be. To see the Lamb as He's been slain. To see the One that bore all
of our sins. That Lamb, beloved, that God
offered. That perfect Lamb. That perfect
sacrifice. That sin offering. That blood
that was taken and put on God's holy altar. Oh my. We'll know this. Everything else will be past.
We won't remember anything, but we'll know we're there because
that lamb that was slain. Why are you doing here, that
lamb that was slain? What's your name, Donny Bell? How'd you get
here, that lamb that was slain? Oh, listen. Oh, what a blessed,
blessed Savior. And I tell you, it's my privilege
and it's my honor and my privilege and all for you to be able to
hear it and to believe it. To tell you the instrument, the
only instrument through which God will forgive you of your
sins. Well, how in the world can I
be a partaker of these benefits? How can I be a partaker? Well,
that's what he said in our text again. I'll show you how. How
can you be a partaker of this forgiveness of sins? How can
you be a partaker of this mercy and grace in Christ? The benefits
of His death. Get the forgiveness of sins. He said in verse 39, And by Him
all that believe. Just as forgiveness of sins Listen
to this, and by him all that believe are justified. Justified. Now I'm going to show you something.
I know I've taken you to a lot of places and I won't take too
much longer. Look in Romans 10, just a minute. If you believe, believe. Therefore, if you believe that
through this man, That's forgiveness of sins. You can be justified
from all things. Look what Romans 10.4 says. For Christ is the end of the
law. Oh, thank God there's an end
to it. For righteousness to everyone that believes. That believes. You mean I can have a righteousness
by believing? Yes. Whose righteousness? The
righteousness of God in Christ. Christ got to the end of the
law. He's the fulfillment of the law. And listen to what it
says in Moses, he describes the righteousness which is of the
law. He said, I'm going to tell you if you want a righteousness
of your own, he said, I'm going to tell you how you get it. The
man which doeth those things, he's going to have to live by
them. If you're going to be saved by law, you've got to do it all
the time. It never fails. But the righteousness
which is of faith, Speaks like this. This is the way it speaks.
It don't have to say in your heart who's going to ascend into
heaven. That is to bring Christ down. We don't have to say I
need to do something to get Christ to come do something for me.
If I'll live a certain way or do something else, maybe I can
get Christ to come down here and do something for me. No,
no. Faith don't have to say that. Christ has already came. Christ
has already died. Christ has already put away sin.
Who shall ascend in the deep that is to bring Christ up again
from the dead? Maybe if I do good enough and
work hard enough, maybe Christ and His resurrection, I can get
some benefits from it. But what does the gospel say?
What does faith say? It says this the word is my thing
even in my mouth in my heart. What is that? That through this
man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins and by him
therefore all that believe can be justified from all things
And that's what he says that if confessed with your mouth
the lord jesus christ And I tell you, what can you do? Come believing,
come trusting, come resting, come depending on this man, this
man alone for your acceptance with God. No other way, no other
way to get to God. And oh, listen. Now this, look
what he says, the character of this act, the forgiveness of
sins. What a blessed message to tell.
That when God pardons a man's sins, forgives a man's sins,
He forgives every one of them. All of them. All of them. Who
shall lay any face to the charge of God's elect as Christ that
died? Who is He that condemneth? It's God that justifies us. Huh? Blessed is the man to whom the
Lord imputeth not iniquities. And not only is it free, I mean free, Full. Full pardon. I mean, He forgives
you all your sins. All your sins. You say, well,
what about my sins I ain't committed? They're taken care of. When He
says all sin, that's what He means. All. All. And not only is it full, but
it's also free. The only motive, the only motive
for God to forgive a man and do anything through a man through
Jesus Christ is the pure, free grace of God. He didn't owe this
forgiveness. He didn't owe Christ's price.
No, he didn't. And I'll tell you something else
it is. Once you get it, you can't lose it. Once he's forgiven you, once
he's justified you, once he's put away your sins by the sacrifice
of himself and you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you ain't
going to lose it. No, no. The gifts and calling
of God are without repentance. Oh, man may be pardoned for one
sin and then commit another and be sentenced to death for one
offense, but I, Lord Jesus Christ, that all that the Father giveth
me shall come to me. And there ain't nothing He'll
ever do to make me cast Him out. I'm going to say something right
here, and I know you've heard it said before. But David was
just as forgiven and justified When he was looking on Bathsheba,
I know it was an awful, awful sin. But there was no way God
was going to cast him out for that sin. He was justified in the sight
of God as he was ever going to be. Now he suffered. His whole family suffered for
his sin. I'm not saying he didn't. God chastised him severely. But
if God ever cast a wall for one person for whom Christ died for
anything they ever done, then God's honor and glory is gone. And that's what our Lord said,
you know, he said, boy, David done an awful thing. But he said,
if a man looks on a woman lust after his heart, he's committed
adultery. You reckon God forgive me for
adultery? He forgives me of my unbelief.
He says He forgives everything but unbelief. If He don't forgive
unbelief then everyone else is going to hell today. So I mean He took care of everything.
All of them. All of them. Well what are you
going to do about that preacher? I'm going to live by the grace of
God to the glory of God. Ain't you? I'm going to buy God's
blessed grace. I'm going to hear preaching.
I'm going to fellowship with the saints of God. I'm going
to worship with the saints of God. I'm going to read God's
blessed book and learn about the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm going
to call on the Lord Jesus Christ to meet all of my needs and do
for me what only He can do. Boy, if I believe what you did,
I believe I'd go out here and just sin. No. No, if you believe
like I did, you would. If you want to use that excuse,
knock yourself out. But I tell you it's reversible.
And I tell you when God saves a man, He puts in a man a new
nature. The Spirit of God keeps us. He keeps us. And let me tell
you something real quick here now. Look back over here in Romans
Acts 13. Just a minute and I'll be through.
I'll be through. Look what he says there. Look
at the congregation that Paul preached to and what became unto
them. He said, unto you, in verse 13, unto you is priesthood and
forgiveness of sins. You know the privilege of having
the forgiveness of sins preached unto you, you know what a privilege
that is? What a blessing that is to have
somebody preach to you the forgiveness of sins. Multitudes, multitudes
have never heard it and never will. But he said unto you, you
know how many people in America will never ever have the gospel
preached to them? Do you have any idea how many
people in America that will never hear what you just heard this
morning? Under you, therefore, as preachers.
Preach the forgiveness of sins through this man. And by him,
through the Lord Jesus Christ, you can be just. And oh, what
a horrible... Listen, right here in Tumlin
County, I wonder how many preachers are preaching the free pardon
of sin through Jesus Christ. The substitutionary death of
Christ. And I said, therefore unto you,
unto you. Multitudes have never heard it,
and some despise it. Look what it says in verse 40
and 41. He said in verse 41, behold,
you despisers in wonder and perish. Go ahead, you despisers, wonder
at this and perish. For I work a work in your days,
a work you'll know wise, in no way you'll ever believe it, though
a man declare it unto you." Now you preach this to them and they
just say, well, so what? So what? Huh? And then there's some, beloved,
who do believe it. Do believe it. And look what
it says in verse 42, and the Jews went out of the synagogue,
they besought, Gentiles besought that these words might be preached
to them the next Sunday, the next Sabbath day, the next Saturday.
Huh? And look what down in verse 45
and 46, oh you're talking about hating this message. Oh my, I
hope there's nobody here like this. But when the Jews saw the
multitudes, They were filled with envy. Spake against those
things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
I don't believe anything Paul said. Don't believe anything
he said. Don't you believe that? Man, I tell you what, you've
got to work your way, you've got to work your way to salvation.
You've got to believe, you've got to do this, and you've got
to pray, and you've got to fast, and you've got to keep this law,
and you've got to keep that law, and you've got to read so many
Bible verses. You've got to give so much of your money, you've
just got, you know, they say, listen, don't listen to Paul!
There's no such thing as a free forgiveness of sin. There's no
such thing as one man dying for another man and that man justifying
everybody that believes him. They contradicted him. And oh,
listen. Then Paul and Barnabas, they
got real bold. And look what they said. It was
necessary that the Word of God should first have been spoken
to you, but seeing..." Now this you're talking about an astonishing
statement. "...seeing you put it from you..." Say, take the
Word and put it away from me. "...and judge yourselves unworthy
of everlasting life, we turn to the Gentiles." Turn to the
Gentiles. The Son received it and they
received it with joy. Huh? Oh my, and look what he
said in verse 47, 48, 49, and then I'm done. For so hath the
Lord commanded us, I have set thee to be alive the Gentiles,
that's me and you, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto
the ends of the earth. That's the Lord Jesus Christ.
And listen to this, and when the Gentiles heard this, they
were glad. Oh, I never was so glad when
I heard the gospel. Oh, I was so glad. I ain't got
over it yet. I'm still glad. Still happy as
if I had good sin. And look what he says. And glorified
the word of the Lord and said, Oh, God did this. Salvation,
God did this. God sent his word to my heart.
And as many as were ordained to eternal life. What happened
to them? They believed. Oh, you mean there's people that
God predestinated to life? That's what it says right there.
That's what that word ordained means. Predestinate. You mean
you believe? If you do, God ordained you to
believe. Oh, and the word of the Lord
was published throughout all the land. So what I'm saying
is, if you believe, and you rejoice in this free forgiveness in Christ,
through this man, then you're blessed indeed. But if you don't,
God still hath ordained them that believe unto eternal life. Ain't he? So that's why I said
I'm not on a fool's errand. Didn't waste my breath this morning.
Didn't waste your time or mine either. O gracious, gracious Father,
our Lord Jesus, O our blessed Redeemer, O our Savior, O thank you, Lord God, that there's
forgiveness of sin, that our sins are gone, gone. You said you wouldn't even remember
them anymore. You cast them into the depths
of the sea. You put them as far as the east is from the west.
You brought them out as a thick cloud. And Lord, what a blessing
to have that peace of heart, that peace of mind, that conscience
that's at rest. Oh, thank you. Blessed be your
name for this salvation given us so fully, freely, powerfully. and preserved in Jesus Christ
our Lord. God bless the dear saints. Bless
our time together this afternoon as we eat and fellowship together. And Lord meet the needs of these
saints and as the preachers come to preach, God use them to your
glory and the good of this congregation. We ask these things in Christ's
name. Amen. Amen. 125. Stand with me. You guys go get dinner ready.
125, everybody ought to know this by heart by now. Finding me, Thine all in all. Jesus paid it all, All to Him
I owe. Sin hath left the princess vain,
He washed it white as snow. The heart Listen now. For nothing good
have I. This is my favorite verse right
here. I stand in Him. I lift. Well, we've got dinner ready
here, and they'll holler at us in a minute. And Lord willing,
I'll see y'all in a couple weeks. Yeah. There's one other thing I would
like to talk about, and that is, the work that goes into production. I don't know how to do this. I don't know. Are you nervous? I'm not going to lie to you. I don't know what you're talking
about. I don't know what you're talking about. and that's how I found you. I love you. I love you. I love
you. Yeah, it's personal. We don't
know. That whole division is terrible
this year. Now, if you keep moving forward,
you'll find that you have a greater chance of making it to the next
level. And you should do your work, and I'll let you know when you're ready to take
the next step. I'm going to go ahead and show
you. It's a 50-foot long solar system. And they have this multi-metric
system. And they're going to go across here to work on it. And they
have a lot of little locks on it. And they're going to set it on fire. And they're going
to come and show off to your friends. And they have a lot of other ways to set it
up. So I'm going to go ahead and show you. It's a 50-foot long solar system. And they have this multi-metric
system. Okay, I'm going to take your
jacket off. I love this place. It's just a matter of time until
you make a lot of money. It's just a matter of time until you make a lot of money.
It's just a matter of time until you make a lot of money. It's
just a matter of time until you make a lot of money. It's just a matter
of time until you make a lot of money. It's just a matter of time until
you make a lot of money. It's just a matter of time until you make a lot
of money. It's just a matter of time until you make a lot of money. It's
just a matter of time until you make a lot of money. I guess I'm going to have to
get a shot. That's not going to happen.
