Why won't we need prayer? We'll be with him. We speak to him face to face. That's wonderful, isn't it? Wonderful. I cast on him my every care. Mark chapter five. Mark chapter five. This is the story of two dying daughters. Did you notice the Lord called that older woman, his daughter. A 12-year-old girl was a man's little daughter, and this woman, at least in her 50s or older, was our Lord's little daughter, very dear to Him. And apparently both of them were. He came to save them, He came to heal them.

And it's remarkable how much the Lord did in one day. All of this took place in one day. One day, John wrote at the end of his gospel, he said, if everything our Lord said and did was written in the book, he said, I suppose the world couldn't contain the books written there. In one day, our Lord, he went through a storm and he stilled the ocean and the waves and he crossed over and healed a man that's possessed with an unclean spirit and then he healed this man's daughter, and he healed this woman with an issue, and he kept going everywhere. Look at verse 21. It says, when he passed over again by ship. You remember, he told the disciples they were in Capernaum, on the other side of Galilee. This was his city, remember? But he told his disciples, let's pass over to the other side.

He didn't tell them why. He never did tell them where they were going. They didn't need to know, did they? Isn't that a good lesson? He's the leader. We're the followers. We don't need to know. We don't know what tomorrow may hold. But as the song says, we do know who holds tomorrow. As David said, my times are in thy hands. My God, that's where I want them to be, don't you? We don't have to worry about tomorrow. Our Lord said that. Don't take no thought for tomorrow, didn't he? He's already got it purposed. He's already got it taken care of. So they didn't know where he was going, but I'll tell you where he was going.

Everywhere he went was in the direction of saving one of his lost sheep. Every step he took, every direction he took, he walked thousands of miles in his lifetime, He took ship, he took boats, he was always in the direction of saving sinners. Why? Because Christ came into the world to save sinners. He left the ninety and nine and came after the one lost sheep. He said, he said that I'm come to seek and to save that which was lost.

And he spent every waking hour of every day doing that. And he found them every one of them. And he saved everyone that he came for. And like this man, I hope and pray we were beseeching him greatly for our little daughters and our little sons and our lost spouses. and our lost parents and whomever.

So he went over again by ship under the other side. Much people gathered under him. He was not under the sea, remember that? We looked at the sea. They were gathered under him, much people. We're gathered, isn't that a blessing? There's nothing more blessed on this planet in this lifetime to be gathered together. Our Lord has done this. He's quickened us together, gathered us together to sit in a heavenly place at his feet like the demoniac. Gathered together. Verse 22, and behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name.

He keeps saying this. He doesn't say his name. Did you notice that? It just struck me that he doesn't use his name again. He keeps saying ruler of the synagogue, ruler of the synagogue. Did you notice that? I just noticed that. Why do you suppose that is?

Well, a ruler of the synagogue back then was a Jew, and he was a Pharisee. Now the Lord didn't say many Pharisees did. He said the publicans and the harlots will go into heaven before you Pharisees. He warned the people of the Pharisees. Not many mighty, not many noble, not many are called. Not many wise, mighty, or noble are called. Not many Pharisees are called. But he called this man.

Thank God. This man thanks God. So you were Pharisees. You were in religion, weren't you? My father was a ruler of the synagogue. He was an Arminian preacher. Lost, like Saul of Tartus. But God, he saved some, thank God. So this ruler of the synagogue, Jairus by name.

It says, behold, he comes to cry. He came to cry, behold. You use that word, the scriptures use that word behold. I mean, if you stop and think about that. And here was this ruler of the synagogue that, you know, these fellas, they didn't have a use for Christ, but this man needed Him greatly. And this man came to Christ. He heard evidently that Christ was in town, and he came to Christ. I'm telling you people, anytime anybody comes to Jesus Christ, it's a sight to behold. It's God's sovereign grace and power to bring anybody to come to Christ. Most people have no use. He's despised and rejected of men. But God is rich in mercy, and nobody will come but all that the Father gives Christ will come again.

So apparently this was one of God's elect, Jared, like the woman with the issue. So he came, and when he saw Christ, he heard him. And when he saw, do you notice, it says he saw him, and then down in verse 24, it doesn't use his name Jesus, it's in italic. See that, buddy, in italic? He's not just, it's not just a man. When he saw him, who? Him. Him. Who angels praise. Him. Who the Father has given all power and honor and glory to. Made Lord over all. Him.

If you ever see him, you'll fall at his feet. Because the fear of the Lord's the beginning of wisdom. People didn't fear Jesus back then, they don't fear him now. But those who've seen him, the Lord Jesus Christ, they fall at his feet and they worship him. Everyone did, didn't they? This man with the unclean spirit, this woman with the issue, they fell at his feet. Daniel fell at his feet as a dead man and on and on it goes. All of God's true people fear the Lord and they fall prostrate at his feet.

And he besought him greatly, verse 23. Besought means to beg, it means to plead, it means to implore, it means to urgently beseech. It means he besought him greatly. Why? Because he had great troubles. I tell you, those in great sorrow need a great savior, don't they? Great sinners need, David said, pardon my iniquity, it's great. Great sinners need a great salvation, don't they?

And there's only one. Only one. He besought him greatly, saying, my little daughter lieth at the point of death. My little daughter. Those are very dear words to me. Aren't they? Those of you who have a little daughter. Or it could have been a son. My little boy. Does that mean anything to you? My little boy. My little daughter. Life at the point of death. And you know what? Every one of our sons and daughters are born that way. Dead in trespasses. Right? They are. We're all dead and dying by nature. Isn't that right?

Isn't that what the Lord said in Genesis 2? Didn't it? of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die and the margin says dying you shall die. Doesn't say that. Modern religion denies that. But it's the truth then. We know it. Because the scripture says it. And if he's quickened you, you know it by experience. You know. You know only those who were dead, that were dead, know what it means to be quickened. You know that?

You know, you won't start living until you know you're dead. You won't really see his glory until you know you're blind. You won't really hear his voice, hear his glory, unless you know you're deaf, you didn't hear a thing. And the Lord opened your eyes and opened your ears and quickened you.

She laughed at the point of death, my little daughter. Do you know what, though? And this is for your comfort, people. Job knew this. Those little daughters don't really belong to you. You know that? They don't really belong to you. Your little sons, Job said it, didn't he? The Lord gave. He loans them. You know that? He loans. Everything is on loan. Why does he loan them to us?

To raise them in the fear and the nurture and the admonition of the Lord. That's why. That's a soul. Our Lord said, all souls are mine. And he gives some of us a treasure. And that's our purpose, isn't it? That's what Moses, that's what the Lord told Moses in Deuteronomy. He said, teach these to your children. He said, these aren't vain words, this is life. You know, my little daughter lied to the point of death.

This was urgent, wasn't it? And what I'm doing right now is urgent. It really is a life or death message. That's why we don't play around. Gabe doesn't play around. These true preachers don't, they're not playing games here. This is life or death. I remarked to Mindy one time, have you ever watched my father on TV, the TV that he was on for so long? He rarely ever smiled. And then I noticed that Gabe doesn't either. Why?

Because it's so urgent. You know, we're like Noah, you know, preparing the ark and preaching the ark, and what we want more than anything is people getting the ark. No one knew it. The wrath is coming down. It's coming down. This is urgent. Get in the ark. And in those last seven days, and those are the days we're in right now. We're in the last day. The door of the ark is open. And we want more than anything. Our little daughters. Our little sons. Our spouses. To come to Christ, don't we? We can't make them. We can't make them come. But we're beseeching the Lord greatly, aren't we?

And I'm telling you, what I'm doing right now brings little daughters and little sons to the Lord. Yes, it does. This is what God has chosen. It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching. That's all the Lord uses. That's all He uses. So you pray for me. Pray for them, but pray for me, Lord. Open their ears. Open their blind eyes. Quicken them there at the point of death. So it's urgent. And boy, when they come in the ark, we start smiling. Oh, yeah. We'll smile. And then we'll go back to preaching this message again, until they're all in the fold. So, he besought him greatly, my little daughter, Lyeth, at the point of death. I pray thee, I beg thee, come, come.

Where is his little daughter? Where is she? She's lying at home. Anybody got children somewhere else? They're not here worshiping the Lord? Anybody? So we ask the Lord, Lord, they're not going to come to you if you don't come to them. Lord, please come lay hold of them. Did you ever lay hold? Boy, did my parents, my dad lay hold of me. Lord, get a hold of her.

Isn't that what you want? Lord, that's what He does. Isn't it? That's what we want. Most of you know the story of Jacob. His name means selfish. That's what his name means. Me. Me first. It's all about me. No, it's not. Well, Jacob was a Sorry fella, he'd messed his life up, his family was a mess, he was running scared from his brother, and he laid down one night alone. Thank God he wasn't alone. And the Lord Jesus Christ came and laid hold of him and put him on the ground and said, what's your name? Selfish. We're gonna change that. We're gonna change that. He didn't ever walk the same after that.

Lord, come, lay hold of my little daughter, or my little son, or my lost wife, or my lost husband. Lay hold of them. If you lay hold of them, they'll be healed, and they will live. Either hath the son hath life, or another. Whoever Christ hath, hath life. Whoever he lays hold of. And look at verse 24. The Lord went with him. He went home with him. He did. The Lord of glory who left heaven came. What is man? The psalmist says that thou art mindful of him, or would visit him. And here this man says, Lord, would you come home and lay hold of my daughter? Yes, I'll come. Boy, if you'd have heard that, John, and you were needy, wouldn't you have said, come to my house next? Wouldn't you? He did.

The Lord of glory went home with this man. The Lord of glory is in little houses here and there. Yes, he is. He who left his father's house came to dwell among men. His delights were the sons of men, Proverbs 8. And he's in little houses just like this, God's house, here and there, everywhere. God, yes, God is with us. Christ is with us. He promised. Two or three are really gathered in his name, for he told us. He's there.

And he's with his people in your house, wherever you live, if you belong to him, if you're his little daughter, he's with you always. And once he's with you, he will never leave you. You understand that? Who's with Tammy Jo tonight? Her heavenly father. She's his little daughter. So is Irene. He'll never leave you. He's with you. Yeah, he is. Old Jairus thought though he left him. He thought he left him. Look, verse 24, the Lord went with him. And much people followed him. There were always a huge crowd. Enthroned him. Crowded old Jairus out. Everybody wanted to be around the Lord. And it was a big crowd. And Jairus lost sight of Christ.

He couldn't see him. Oh, no. He's not coming home with me. I can't see him. Where is he? You don't need to see him. He's never taken his eye off you. Are you with me? Are you with me? Boy, they ought to make you smile. This ought to make you smile. Though you can't see him, though you think he's left you, he said, I'll never leave you. Didn't he? He can't lie. He's with you always, he said, even to the end of the world. He won't leave you. You may leave him, he won't leave you. Like Hosea and Gomorrah. You may lose sight of him, he never takes his eye off you.

You may despair of him answering your prayer, but he hears every single prayer. There's not a thought in your mind he doesn't hear it before you speak it. And that's all. And He knows what things you have need of Him for you. He knows. You see, He had to lose sight of Him because we walk by faith. We can't see Him. We can't see Christ. But He's with us. He's with us. A certain woman, okay. Now, someone else comes, a certain woman. Don't you love that? All through scripture, certain men, certain women. Oh, I love that word, certain. Salvation is certain because our Lord chose certain individuals to save. And he comes to this earth searching for those certain individuals. And he puts them where he will find them. Will he find them? He most certainly will.

Old Zacchaeus was up a tree. John Chapman preached a message entitled, Up a Tree on Purpose. The woman that came to the well that day, he had her Come to him while he's waiting on her at the well. And on and on it goes. This certain woman. Long time. She had an issue of blood. Twelve years. What it was, we don't know. You nurses may think she was hemorrhaging. But she'd suffered, verse 26, many things of many physicians and spent all that she had. There was nothing bettered. It rather grew worse. The story this is of issue that we all have in our blood by nature, it's called sin. We all have it, we're all born with it. There's only one cure. One cure.

And many people try many things. They try these false positions, these false profits for hire, these hireling, and they'll spend everything. grew angry at those Pharisees. That's why this is such a remarkable thing. This Pharisee came begging. Every knee's gonna bow before him. But this man really did, this Pharisee. But our Lord was angry at those Pharisees. He said, you devour widows' houses. And they do.

I can tell you some stories off of them. But she'd suffered many things of many physicians, and so do many people. They try many things, many of these self-proclaimed healers and preachers and false prophets, and they spend all their money, and they're nothing better. They're not better, they're worse. Our Lord said of these fellows, they encompass sea and land to establish a proselyte, and when they find one, they're two-fold more the child of hell than they begin with. They're worse People that make a false profession are now made a covenant with hell and death, and it's a covenant of works.

But when she heard of the Lord Jesus, everybody's got to hear the gospel. That's how we're saved. You've got to hear the gospel. When she heard of the Lord Jesus Christ, says she came in the press behind, look at it, verse 27, and touched his garment. John, this is in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. And Matthew in Mark's account says she touched the hem of his garment. We devoted a whole message to that, the hem of his garment.

Is that special? The hymn? Well, go back to Exodus and read about the high priest's garment. And it's got a hymn around it, and it's real important. There are two things on the hymn of that garment. Isn't it amazing our Lord, who created the English language, named that important part of that robe of the high priest, hymn? That's not an accident. Hymn!

But anyway, around the hymn of that garment are bells, That God will keep ringing when he goes in that holy place. If they quit ringing, God's not accepting the sacrifice. And pomegranate, fruit. He's bearing fruit unto the Lord. Well, this woman, she came behind him and touched the hymn. She said, if I can just touch the hymn of his karma. Do you understand? Yeah, you do. You're nodding your heads. Do you realize how blessed you are? Do you realize how blessed you are that you're one in a million, that you know what this garment is?

It's the righteousness of Jesus Christ. That your salvation is in Him completely. His blood, His righteousness. It said when she touched the hem of His garment, it says her blood, the fountain of her blood was dried up. The only thing that will heal us is, well, there is a fountain filled with blood. drawn from Emmanuel's veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their gifts now. How many? All of them. She was made whole. She was complete, John, in him. How? Just a touch. Just a touch. I love this. Verse 30.

And it says that Jesus immediately Knowing, feeling in himself that virtue had gone out of him. Now, brothers and sisters, this is written for our learning. The Lord purposed all this. It was all predestined. He knew, known unto him all his work from the beginning of the world. Okay?

This was written for us to know that all virtue and all power and everything comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. It says, knowing in himself. And now we know that all virtue and power comes from him. What happened, we know. It came out of him, this virtue, this power. Christ is the power of God, the wisdom of God.

He turned about him in the press, in the crowd, and said, who touched my clothes? He knew who touched his clothes. He knew, didn't he? He never asked anything for information. This is the omniscient God, he knows all, all knowing, right? Who touched my clothes? Why did he ask that? So that she would come forward and confess him. Who touched my clothes?

The disciples, you know, our Lord is past finding out any, and they are so ignorant. I'm so glad. that the Lord wrote their ignorance in this book. I know Simon Peter, later when the Lord said he was gonna write it all down, he said, Lord, don't write that. Don't write that. Or David, don't, Lord, do you have to put that in the book?

Yes, because there's some people gonna get great comfort. Some poor, ignorant people walking by faith. They're gonna need to know that even the apostles They don't know everything. They don't know. They're just trusting you. Lord, what do you mean who touched your clothes? It said everybody's touching you. No, they're not either. No, they're not. No, they're not.

Do you understand that this was a multitude, a vast multitude, and one person came crawling And in her heart and in her soul, thought, if I can just touch him, he's my only hope. He's my only salvation. He's my all. I got to get to him. If I can just touch him.

Most people, they're out of curiosity. or to get some selfish need met or whatever. She said, if I get to him, are you here for that reason? He know, the foundation of God standeth sure having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are here. The Father seeketh such to worship him. Is that why you're here? You know. God forgive us, we're not always here for that reason, are we? But he knows, you know, I'm just touching him.

And the woman here, so he looked around in verse 32, I love this. He looked around to see her. Let's see. There she is. This is his little daughter he came for. And he saw her, and the woman, when our Lord looked at her, verse 33, the woman, what? Fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, fearing and trembling.

Listen, people, here's what, listen to this scripture, I love it. Never forget when a man, first heard a man preach from this, Isaiah 57, listen to him. Thus saith the high and lofty one, that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is holy. I dwell in a high and holy place with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble. to revive the heart of the contrite one. Listen to this, Isaiah 66. Listen to this. The heaven is my throne, the earth is my footstool, where's the house that you build me? Where's the place of my rest?

All those things hath mine hand made, all those things that have been, saith the Lord, but to this man or this woman will I look. Even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." Every trembling sinner, everyone that really fears him. He looks to in great mercy and grace and salvation. He looks on you with favor, with great favor.

And she fell down before him, knowing what was done in her, not just to her. Has the Lord done something? You know, the Lord, all our lives, even before we knew him, did many things for us, for us. In fact, he did everything for us. John read that tonight. I girded you though you didn't know me. I fed you, I clothed you, I took care of you, I carried you all the day and you didn't know it. Now you know it.

Why? Because he's done something in you. Paul said, would it please God to reveal his Son in me? Christ in you is the hope of the Lord. In your heart. in your mind, in your thoughts, in your affection. Has Christ done something in you? She knew, He's done something, not only for me, but in me. And she fell down before Him and told Him all the truth. Told Him all the truth. I hear you men pray, and you're just pouring out your heart to the Lord. You're telling Him everything. As if he didn't know. She told him all the truth.

Lord, I've had this issue all my life. I tried it. I was a fool. I was trying this and trying that and doing this and doing that. Why didn't I look to you to begin with? I don't know. I saw no beauty in you that I should desire you. But here I am finally seeking you. Lord, I came and, I know. Lord, like the Syrophoenician woman, you know, the Lord ignored her, and said it's only for the elect, and you're a dog, and what did she say?

Truth. This is confession. We come to the Lord, Confessing what we are, confessing our ignorance, confessing our rebellion, confessing our sins, confessing our self-righteousness, confessing everything, confessing our need in Him. He knows. The truth as it is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

And he said unto her, verse 34, he said unto her, daughter, now this woman's 50 or 60 years old. Our Lord's 30, daughter, who is this? Call his name, wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. This is her father. He's come for her, his little daughter, to heal her.

Go that way, he said in verse 34, thy faith hath made thee whole. Now, she didn't do anything, did she? Christ did. What is faith? It's just looking to cry. It's just coming to cry. Go in peace. Be whole of thy faith. Faith will make you whole, complete in him. While he yet spake, verse 34. While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, certain servants or somebody that said, thy daughter is dead. No sense in troubling the master, the teacher, any further. She's gone. That's sad, isn't it? She's plum gone. No trouble, no troubling.

Can you trouble the Lord Jesus Christ? Can you impose upon the Lord Jesus Christ? Can you bother him? Oh no. Come unto me. He cried. He stood up a couple of times. He said, come unto me. Oh. Anytime. Anytime. He says that ever present help in time of trouble. You can't trouble the Lord Jesus Christ because he, he, He came down here because of our troubles. You understand? Psalm 107, Kelly. Four times, they got in trouble, got in trouble. And he answered them every time then.

That's why he came, to deliver us from our troubles. Man that is born of woman is a few days and full of what? Trouble. Well, our Lord came down from heaven, left bliss. and happiness to come down for us who are in a world of trouble. You can't trouble the Lord. In fact, it says, John 11, when our Lord came to the tomb of Lazarus, said he groaned in spirit, and the margin says he troubled himself. You see, our Lord put himself through a great deal of trouble to deliver you out of your trouble. And right before he went to the cross, blessed be his holy name, he said, now is my soul troubled.

He never admitted that. They never saw him act like he was in trouble. Oh, he was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. They never saw him act that way until he was about to go to the cross. And he said, now I'm in trouble. Why? He's gonna bear our iniquities on the cross. That's something. Don't trouble the master. Oh, you better. You better wake up. You better. Don't go to anybody else. You can't trouble him.

But she's gone. She's beyond help. She's beyond reach. Who's reach? What about that demoniac? Nobody can tame him. He's gone. Forget it. Everybody's trapped. Not everybody. Huh? His arm's not short. Is it? No. We sing that song, John, when he reached down for me. How far did he reach down to get you? Hmm? Oh, he's gone. He's a madman. He's crazy. My brother, my whoever.

Nobody's beyond the Lord's reach. Keep beseeching the Lord greatly. Well, look at verse 36. Our Lord said, as soon as he heard that, it had to be said so that I could say what I just said. Isn't that a blessing? Doesn't that give you hope that nobody's beyond his reach? It's not over till it's over. Is it? Thief on the cross. Huh? He's gone now. He's on death row. He's going to die in about one hour. Lord. Would you look at that? Can he do that again? You don't know how many times he's done that. We don't know, do we? He doesn't give an account of his manner, does he? Aren't you glad?

That gives us hope. In who? Him. Him. He's merciful. Our Lord said, be not afraid, only believe. Only believe. Be not afraid. Isn't that what He told His disciples? Why are you so fearful and without faith? Be not afraid. Believe. Believe Him. Believe His Word. Believe His promises. Believe in His power. Believe in His gospel. And He suffered, verse 37.

I've got to hurry. He suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, James, and John, the brother of James. Why is that? Why does the Lord take these three men? He took them often, didn't he? Well, it's a picture of the Lord, many are called, but few are chosen, isn't it? He took these three men up on the Mount of Transfiguration, and they saw the Lord, his glory.

So what'd they preach? His glory. They just didn't preach Jesus. Like these false prophets who've never seen his glory. They preach the Lord Jesus, God manifest in the flesh. John said, we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father. That, life. So that's who they bring. And He's chosen you to behold His glory. And He chose these three men to show us that it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save us and our children. Do you understand? God has raised up men, chosen men, and called and sent men to preach the Gospel for the life of our daughters and our sons.

Yes. Bring them. Right? He brought these three men in. These are mine. That's what he's showing this father and this mother. These are my chosen men. They're with me. And I'm leaving. And now they're all you got. But it's enough. Because I speak through them. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Yes, He's chosen men. They're few and far between. But they're men of God. And they're preaching Christ. And Christ is saving little daughters. Yes, He is.

We came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue to see the tumult. Oh, how people like to show other people how sorry they are. That's why the Lord said, let the dead bury the dead. Those people just weep and wail. They want to say, oh, He didn't We sorrow, but not as those who have no hope." And when he came in, he said, why do you make this a dude and weep? The damsel's not dead, the little girl's not dead, but sleepeth. This is how I know that she belonged to him. He said that right there. Now she is dead. No, she's not.

And that's what we hope for our lost loved ones, that they won't die, really, spiritually, but they belong to Him. Because whoever belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ will never die. We're not dying. Oh, the old man is decaying. The old man is decaying. His body is dying. We're not dying. The new man's It's getting, it's being renewed daily. We're not getting ready to die. We're getting ready to live. You understand? Oh, we ought to look forward to it, Jimmy. She's not dead. She's sleeping.

They laughed him to scorn and so does this world mocks and scoffs. When he put them all out, he takes the father and the mother of the damsel and them that were with him, Peter, James, and John, and entered in where the little girl was lying. And he took the damsel by the hand. Oh, Lord, take us and our children by the hand.

And he said unto her, Talithah Kuman. I wouldn't begin to try to say this. I can't. No man spake like he did. But it interpreted, damsel I say unto thee, arise. Why did our Lord speak in this Syriac language? Why did he do that? He did it again at, let's see, where was it? He spoke again, escaped my mind. But why did he speak in a language that nobody understood?

Well, our Lord could have spoken in a heavenly language all the time, didn't He? And the fact of the matter is, He does speak in a language that only His people hear when He speaks to them. It's the language of the Gospel. It's the language of Christ. It's the language of wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption. The world doesn't know that language.

Do they? Huh? We don't change these words. We use what the scriptures say. Propitiation. You know what propitiation is? Ask the average person on the street. What language are you speaking? Huh? Substitution. Propitiation. Reconciliation. These words. You know these. It's a language, a heavenly language that our Lord has used to raise us from the dead. Yes, we preach the gospel. exactly like the Lord writes it down. And the world doesn't know this moment.

And what he said was, little girl, I say unto thee, arise, salvation's by command. And you hath he quickened who were dead in trespass and sin. And you, even when we were dead in sins, that quickened us together with Christ, it's by grace you say, and raised us up together, made us sit together in heavenly places. Why? That in the ages to come, he might show the exceeding riches of his grace.

After this was over, the people were astonished with great astonishment. The word is they were stunned. They were speechless. They were amazed. We ought not to really use that term except in regards to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amazed. Astonishing. Our astonishing Lord. They were stunned.

And that damsel got up, that young girl got up, arose, arise my soul, arise. Shake off thy guilty fear, the bleeding sacrifice. on thy behalf appear. And she walked, she's walking by faith now. Look who's coming in the door. That dead daughter. That dead son. Look! How do you know she's alive? Look down at verse 43. He charged them straightly. No man should know it. Ask me later about that. But he commanded, here's the first thing. She's alive now. She's alive now. How do you know? Give her something to eat. Dead people, they have no appetite. They're not hungry and thirsty for the gospel. They don't need the gospel. They want entertainment, they want this, they want that. They don't need the gospel. Only living believers say, feed me with this bread from heaven.

What's that? Christ. give her something to eat. What? Bread. Oh, and you know, and maybe she's got to partake of the Lord's table for the first time. You reckon? I remember wanting to do that, and when I finally got to eat the bread and drink the wine, I'm one of them. I'm alive from the dead. Oh, may we beseech the Lord greatly on behalf of Will the Lord save somebody through the prayers of another? Yes, He will. Okay, stand with me.
