Good evening, everybody. If you would open your Bibles with me to Psalm 48. Psalm 48. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion. on the sides of the north, the city of the great king. God is known in her palaces for refuge.

For lo, the kings were assembled. They passed by together. They saw it, and so they marveled. They were troubled and hasted away. Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail. Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

As we have heard, so have we seen. in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. We have thought of thy loving kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. According to thy name, O God, is thy praise unto the ends of the earth.

Thy right hand is full of righteousness. Let Mount Zion rejoice. Let the daughters of Judah be glad because of thy judgments. Walk about Zion and go round about her. Tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks. Consider her palaces, that ye may tell it to the generation following. For this God is our God forever and ever. And he will be our guide even unto death. All right. Now you're stuck with the third string song leader tonight, so let's turn in our hymn books to page 352.

Jesus lover of my soul. Jesus, lover of my soul, let me to thy bosom fly, while the nearer waters roll, while the tempest still is high. Hide me, O my Savior, hide, Till the storm of life is past, Safe into the haven guide, O receive my soul at last.

Other refuge have I none, hangs my helpless soul on thee. leave me not alone. Still support and comfort me. All my trust on thee is stayed. All my help from thee I bring. Cover my defenseless head with the shadow of thy wing. Thou, O Christ, art all I want, more than all in Thee I find. Raise the fallen, cheer the faint, heal the sick, and lead the blind. Just and holy is thy name. I am all unrighteousness. False and full of sin I am, Thou art full of truth and grace. Plenteous grace with Thee is found, Grace to cover all my sin. Let the healing streams abound. Make and keep me pure within. Thou of life, the fountain art, freely let me take of thee. ♪ Spring thou up within my heart ♪ ♪ Rise to all eternity ♪ All right, now let's turn back to hymn number 32. Hymn number 32.

Now if you would open your Bibles with me to Exodus chapter 34. Exodus chapter 34. We'll read the first eight verses. And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone, like unto the first, and I will write upon these tables the words that were written in the first tables, which thou breakest.

And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto Mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount. And no man shall come up with thee, Neither let any man be seen throughout all the Mount. Neither let the flocks nor herds feed before the Mount.

And he hewed two tables of stone, like unto the first. And Moses rose up early in the morning, and he went up unto Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him. And he took in his hand the two tables of stone. And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and upon the children's children unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth and worshiped.

Thank God for his word. Let's bow together in prayer. Our great God, our holy, sovereign, merciful Heavenly Father, Lord, we bow before you. We bow before your throne. We bow in worship. We bow in awe. and wonder at who you are and what you have seen fit to do for your sinful people through the obedience and the sacrifice of your son.

Father, we have so much to be thankful for how you blessed us so richly in every way. But father, chiefly, how we thank you for the Lord Jesus Christ, the gift of his blood, of his righteousness, the gift of being accepted in him, the gift that makes every other earthly blessing pale in comparison, just fade into nothingness compared to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And Father, I pray that you would be pleased through the preaching of your word this evening to reveal yourself again to us. Reveal yourself to us like you did with Moses of old, and let us know you. Reveal your character to us that we might, as Moses of old, bow and worship before you. Father, let us know thee. Father, we have nothing without thee. Let us know thee.

Save us by your mercy and your grace, we pray. And Father, I pray that you would bless this congregation, how I thank you for it, and ask that you would continue to bless your word as it sounded forth from this place. And Father, we pray a blessing for your people that you seem fit to bring into the time of trouble and trial, those who are heartbroken. your comforting presence with the family of our brother Scott Thompson. We pray for Novi as she's going through these treatments that she'd be pleased to heal her body.

Others, Father, that need you especially. You know your sheep. You know where we're at. You know what your sheep need. We pray that you would meet those needs richly according to your goodness and your mercy and your grace. Father, it's in Christ's name for his sake and his glory. We pray. Amen.

Now I've titled the message this evening, the character of God in verse five says that the Lord stood with him there and proclaimed the name of the Lord. That, that means he proclaimed the character of the Lord. Now, before God writes the 10 commandments again, what he's going to reveal to us and to Moses, he's going to reveal the character. of the lawgiver.

He's going to tell us what God is like, who he is and what God is like. And you're the only way we can know what God is like is if he tells us who he is. I know this, God's not who we think he is. God is not who these, these fallen minds, whatever it is we concoct, God's not who we think he is. God is who he says he is. If we want to know who God is, let's ask him.

And here he tells us who he is. And I tell you why this is so important, because the only way that we can have salvation for our souls is to know God. Our Savior said, whom to know is life eternal. This God, the way he describes himself here, tells us of his character and what he's like.

This God is the only God among all the other idols of the world. This is the only God who saves, who saves helpless, guilty, vile sinners in both mercy and truth. So he starts out here by telling Moses his name, his character is in verse six, the Lord passed by before him and proclaimed the Lord. Now that is all capitals, capital L-O-R-D. That name is Jehovah. It's God, my savior. This is the self existent one. This is God who doesn't need anything. God doesn't need us. He doesn't need anything from us. And even though he doesn't need us, this is who Jehovah is.

He chose to save a sinful people anyway, so that his son would be glorified. The Lord, Jehovah, this same name here is the name that's used to describe the one who created heaven and earth. He's the creator, he's the owner, he's the ruler of this world. It's the Lord, the same name. is the one who calls his people. This is the one who called Moses and Abraham and Joshua and Samuel. And I pray the one who calls us. Now, if we want to know who God is, we want to know what this name means. The best thing is not for me to tell you what I've read and what I think. I want God's word to tell us who the Lord Jehovah is.

This is what he's like. He's the savior. David said in Psalm three, verse eight, Salvation belongeth unto the Lord. Thy blessing is upon thy people. Salvation belongs to the Lord. He saves whom he will, when he will. And he has promised he'll save all of his people. This is the one who saves sinners. And this is the one, and remember that this is God who doesn't need us. He's the self-existent one. He'll hear the cries of sinners. In Psalm 4, verse 3, David said, the Lord will hear when I call unto him. He will. And the proof of it, Psalm 34, verse 6, David said, this poor man cried and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all of his troubles.

Now, are you in need? Are you in need of salvation or are you in need of mercy? Are you in need of anything? Call on the Lord. Call on Jehovah. This is the one. It utterly astounds me who will hear his people. I got a call today. I thought I might know who it was. I was wrong. And it was a telemarketer. And I hit that hang up button. I wasn't listening to that for half a second. I wasn't listening to it. The Lord doesn't do that to the poor and needy. He hears our cry. Then cry unto him.

David says in Psalm 34 verse 18, the Lord, Jehovah, is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth, such as be of a contrite spirit. Those whose heart is broken, it's broken, it can't work anymore, it can't be put back together anymore. Those who have such a contrite spirit, they're so low, they know there is no reason, nothing about themselves, they would recommend them to God, and the Lord is nigh unto them. Now he stays far away from the self-righteous, doesn't he? But those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit, the Lord is nigh unto them and he saves them.

In Psalm 34, verse 22, David said, the Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants. Now, how sure is this salvation and this redemption that's in Jehovah? The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants. None of them that trust in him shall be desolate, none of them. Everyone who trusts in the Lord Jehovah, none of them will be found guilty. None of them will be found naked. The Lord will redeem all of them. This is the Lord. This is his character, the savior of sinners. Then next he says, his name is the Lord God.

Now this is the one true and living God and none can be compared unto him. know that because of what he said in Isaiah 46 verse 9, I am God and there is none else. I am God and there's none like me. There's none like him. Of all the idols and all the other Jesus's that are preached in this world, none can be compared to God. None can be compared to his glory, to his power, to his wisdom, to his salvation. None can be compared unto him. He's the one true and living God.

Now, how separate is he from us? I mean, we're all dying creatures. How separate is this one true living God from us? Yeah, you know what Hagar said in Genesis 16, verse 13? Thou God, see as me. The one true and living God condescends to see and to look on his people with compassion. Isn't that amazing? False religion, people talk about like that, like, you know, that's what we deserve. No, we don't. To think that the one true and living God sees his people, his eye is always on his people. And this one who looks on his people with such compassion is the same one that our Savior cried out to. Psalm 22, verse one, same word, same name.

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? The perfect, holy, pure son of God said that from the cross. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? The father would not look on his son in anything but wrath because he was made sin for his people. Yet Hagar can say, thou God seest me. You see me in compassion. Now, how can that be?

Because God, the one true living God, punished his own son as the substitute for his people so he could look on his people with compassion. That is such a display of wisdom, how God can be both just and still justify the ungodly. It's such a display of his mercy and love and pity for sinners. He punished his son. so that he could look in favor on his people. I hope that the next time I start feeling down in the mouth and depressed and feeling defeated, that I can remember this. God sees his people. He knows, he looks on his people with compassion.

That must have thrilled David because in Psalm 139 verse 17, He said, how precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God. It's so precious to think that God looks on his people and thinks on his people in mercy and love. And this same name, God, is used in Isaiah 9, verse 6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government should be upon his shoulder, and his name should be called Wonderful.

Counselor, the mighty God, the same name the Lord displayed to Moses here, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, the Lord God became flesh. That's such a great mystery. I mean, I know we talk about that all the time, Christ in the flesh and our representative, our substitute. But if you try to comprehend that for a second, mind just explodes.

The Lord God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace became flesh so that he could be the representative of sinful people like us. So that he would have a body and blood to suffer and die and shed that blood before his father to redeem his people from their sin. The true and living God became flesh. to be the redeemer of his people. If you wanna know what God's like, that's what God's like.

It's beyond comprehension, isn't it? Then next he says, his name is merciful. God is merciful. Now mercy is God not giving us what we do deserve. And that is the heart's desire of every guilty sinner. Oh Lord, do not give me what I deserve. I know what I deserve. I know what my very best works deserve. They deserve eternity in hell. Oh God, don't give me what I deserve. So it's thrilling to read, isn't it?

God's merciful. And this word merciful he uses here, it means tender compassion. Like we would hold a small baby in our arms. We do it with such compassion and such tenderness and such feeling. Lord willing, in December, I'm going to have a granddaughter. And Gary, I'm already planning how it's going to feel to hold her for the very first time. It's going to be with tender compassion. Now you magnify that by billions and billions.

And that's our God holding his people in the palm of his hand with tender compassion. Again, let's see what, what God's word has to say about this. Numbers 14 verse 18, the Lord is long suffering and of great mercy. He doesn't just have a little bit of mercy. He has great mercy. On down in verse seven, he says, he's keeping mercy for thousands. That's not just thousands, that's an indefinite number of people. He has mercy reserved for the sons of Adam until the last moment of this earth. He has mercy reserved for his people.

It's never gonna run out. Jeremiah said, God's mercies are new every morning. And I love that. I love that. Every day I get up and I think, I'm gonna be a better person. I'm not gonna think bad things. I'm not gonna do bad things. And what I find is my sin is new every morning. So I'm thrilled to find out, to read in God's word that his mercies are new every morning.

It's a never ending supply of mercy. That's why Psalm 36, I would have to say is my favorite psalm, because it's got 26 verses in it. And 26 times, the psalmist says, his mercy forever. It has no beginning and no ending. And God doesn't have this mercy and just hold it back and not show it on people because he gets mad at his children.

Micah said in Micah 7 verse 18, He delighteth in mercy. He delights to show mercy to guilty sinners. Now, are you a sinner? Do you need mercy? That is one of the best verses I can think of that would drive us to the feet of Christ, begging for mercy, knowing this, he delights in mercy. Just go straight to the source and begging for it. He's got a never ending supply and he delights to show it. That's his character, that's what God's like. He's merciful to sinners. Then he says he's merciful and gracious.

Now grace is God giving us what we do not deserve. Is there anything you have, let's start out in the physical realm. Is there anything you have that you deserve? Or is everything you have God gave to you freely? Everything we have, and God's given it to us freely. Now let's talk about something a whole lot more important. Every spiritual blessing that God has, he gives to his people freely. What spiritually do you have that you deserve? Not one blessed thing.

He saved our souls. He saved the souls of his people. We didn't deserve that, and he gives it freely. He's made his people righteous. He's given his people the righteousness of his son. We didn't deserve that, but he made us the righteousness of God in him. We didn't deserve for God to forgive our sin, but he did it freely because of the blood of his son. We didn't deserve to be given a holy nature. That's the last thing from us, but he's given his people a holy nature by his grace.

That's electing, saving, calling, preserving grace, God's grace. And I just think it's wonderful that man's greatest need, my greatest need is grace. And the character of God is to be gracious to sinners. I just love that, that is so encouraging to me. John said in John 1 verse 17, Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Grace came to earth when Jesus Christ was born. Grace personified.

And he didn't, just like David is talking about here, this abounding grace, John said he's full of grace and truth. He's full of it. There's always grace reserved in Christ for sinners. It's grace that justifies the ungodly. Romans 3 verse 24, being justified freely by his grace that's in Christ Jesus. Grace and truth came by him, he's full of grace, it's justifying grace. Justified by his grace through the redemption that's in Christ Jesus. And it's grace that'll never run out. I know we worry. I'm finally, I'm gonna out-sin God's patience. I'm gonna out-sin His mercy. I'm gonna out-sin His grace. I don't even know the tip of the iceberg of my sin, and it disgusts me. It makes me so depressed.

But God's grace will never run out for His people. Where sin abounded, Paul said, grace did much more abound. It super abounded, not just a little bit more, it super abounded all of the sin of all of God's people. And this grace, we sing an amazing grace, it's grace that will lead me home. Just like the Apostle, the Lord told the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12, 9, my grace is sufficient for thee.

And the same thing's true for every one of us. Wherever it is that we find ourselves where the Lord has led us. And sometimes we're sure this is going to crush me. This is it. This is going to crush me. But yet you'll always find this to be true. His grace is sufficient. It's enough to see us through any trial. I think I've told this story before, but I'm going to be an old man so I can repeat things.

When my dad died, it was a sudden and shocking thing. He was up in Canada. Jonathan, Becky and I flew up there, and they decided, they thought he would die, but he didn't. And he was just lingering and lingering. So they flew him home in a air ambulance. And Mom, Becky went with him, and Jonathan and I drove their car home. And in the Lord's mercy, the Lord finally called him home. And we had a, a visitation and a funeral service for him. And I was standing by the casket the night of the funeral. And my very, very dear friends from Cottageville, West Virginia came to the service.

And they had a little girl. She was two little girls, probably about the same age as my girls, just I think a year younger in both of them. And the youngest one, Katie, She got up to me and she just burst out crying. She just couldn't just, she's just little. How, you know, how can you understand all this situation?

And I got down and hugged her and looked her in the eye and said, Katie, have you ever heard preachers say that God's grace is sufficient? I said, you know what that means? You said no. And I said, it means it's enough. It's enough. It's okay, because God's grace is enough. Well, about 15 years later, the Lord's merciful to her. And she said, remember that at your dad's funeral? She said, now I understand.

God's grace is sufficient for thee. Hang on to that. Hang on to that. When we need it, that's the most precious promise to hang on. His grace is sufficient. And this is what I found. in times of trouble and trial, rather than ask the Lord to deliver me, I ask him to give me grace sufficient. And you know, he has every time, every time. That's what God's like. He's gracious to his people. Then next, God says he's long suffering. The word means patient and slow to anger.

Now the Lord said in Exodus 33 verse 11, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked. And what that means is God has, he's not sad when he sends a sinner to hell, but there's no satisfaction in it for him. Because even when he sends a sinner to hell, his justice is never satisfied. They can never, even in eternity in hell, pay for even one of their sins.

So the father's not, he finds no satisfaction in that. But I'll tell you what the father is satisfied with. He's satisfied with his son. He's satisfied with the righteousness of his son. He's satisfied with the bloody sacrifice of his son. And because he's satisfied with his son, that's why he's long-suffering to sinners like you and me. Peter said in 2 Peter 3 verse 15, you'll count. Now you just mark this down to count this, Peter said. that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation.

How long-suffering is the Lord with his people? Before he reveals himself to us, how long-suffering is the Lord with us? My goodness. And after he reveals himself to us, after he gives us faith in his son, after he causes us to be born again, how long-suffering is the Lord with his children?

He is so long-suffering with his rebellious, unregenerate child that as wild as that child is, I mean, my son-in-law Clark, his uncle, talks about children who are as wild as the Taliban. If you're as wild as the Taliban, I mean, you're just tempting death all the time. If you're one of God's, the Lord is so long-suffering with you that you cannot die. until the Lord gives you faith in Christ. You can't do it.

He's so long-suffering with our sin. And the Lord's long-suffering, tell you what that means. If we're condemned, it's our own fault. If we're condemned, it's our own doing. It's not because the Lord was not long-suffering with us. And if we're saved, that's all the Lord's doing.

And the Apostle Paul used himself as the example of that. In 1 Timothy 1, verse 16. He said, how be it for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering to a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Paul felt like his life is Saul of Tarsus, his life is that Pharisee of the Pharisees.

He's so strict and I mean, he, hated the gospel of Christ. He hated the person of Jesus Christ. He hated the gospel of Christ so much because he loved his own self-righteousness. He hated the gospel so much he put people to death who believed it. He just stamped this thing out.

And you think God's gonna say, enough of that. You're not gonna harm my children like that. And the Lord was long suffering with him and revealed himself to Paul and in Paul. And that's a pattern for you and me. Let's never give up hope on our loved ones as long as they breathe on this earth, that the Lord still might be merciful to him because he's so long suffering. Not because our loved ones are so good, but because God's long suffering. That ought to keep us praying for the lost everywhere. I mean, maybe it's, Kind of selfish, they only pray for our loved ones, but praying for any of the lost, that's a good prayer to bring before God because he's long suffering to them.

And then six, God says, this is who he is, this is his character. He's abundant in goodness. That word goodness is usually translated mercy. And it means to show kindness to those who do not deserve it. Now, everything God does is good. Everything. And it's easy to see when the Lord says the right amount of sunshine and the right amount of rain to make crops grow and feed the earth. And God blesses people with the blessings of this earth. It's easy to see, oh, that's good. That's good.

But even when tragedies happen, even when things that are so painful to this flesh happen, That doesn't mean God's changed. Everything God does is good, even when we don't understand it, even when we never see any good out of it. This is what we know for sure. We know this because God's word says it. God's working all these things together for good to them that love him, to them who are called according to his purpose. He's abundant in goodness. He never does bad, and that's the Savior that I need. That's the one I need. Oh, I need him to be good to me, because I don't deserve it. David felt that way.

He said in Psalm 40 verse 11, withholding off thy tender mercies from me, O Lord, and let thy loving kindness. And that loving kindness is the same word translated goodness in our text. Let your loving kindness, let your goodness and truth continually preserve me.

If I'm going to be preserved, it's because God's good. And David said in Psalm 89 verse 33, nevertheless, or the Lord said this, David wrote it down, nevertheless, my loving kindness, the same word, goodness, nevertheless, my goodness, will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. God's goodness to his people will never fail. Despite the hugeness of my badness, God's goodness will always override it. And I tell you that this is a precious promise.

The Lord said, I'll never utterly take my loving kindness for my people. And I can tell you why that is. God doesn't never takes his goodness away from his people because he gave Christ our substitute, the opposite of goodness. When he was on Calvary's tree, he gave him the opposite of goodness. There wasn't a, A hint, a drop of mercy. God gave him all the wrath that the sin of his people deserves.

And that brings us to the next thing. God says he's abundant in goodness and truth. And truth. Now that conjunction and is a mighty big word. When you're describing what God's like, this word and is a necessary word. You can't describe God without it. God is good and he's true.

He's always good. Everything he does is good. And he's always true to all the rest of God's character. God is good, but he's always true to his holiness. He's always true to his justice. He's always true to his faithfulness. He's always true to his truth. God is always good and he's always just.

God is always merciful. and he always punishes sin. Now, can you tell me what that means? How is it that God is always merciful and always just? Well, he tells us here, verse seven, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty. God says he always punishes sin. And, and, there's that word, and God forgives iniquity, transgression, and sin. Now, if you can find out how God does that, you can find out how God saves sinners.

If you can find the answer to this question, how can God always punish sin, yet still forgive iniquity, and transgression, and sin? You find out the answer to that question, and you'll understand the very heart of the gospel. I tell you how he did it. Everybody here already knows, but I'd love to talk about it. So I'm gonna say it again. God does that. He's just and merciful through the Lord Jesus Christ, the center substitute, the son of God willingly became a substitute for sinful men and women like us.

He willingly was made sin for his people. The father transferred the sin of his people to his son. And even though his son never committed a sin, he made him guilty of all of the sin of all of his people. And the father poured out his wrath upon his son until that sin was gone, until it was put away under the blood of Christ.

The sacrifice of Christ made it right. for God to forgive the sin of his people. It's right. That's the most amazing story that's ever been told. That the father would slaughter his son so that he could forgive sinners like us. And I reckon that means you can say that salvation is doubly sure in the character of God. God's mercy demands he forgives sin, doesn't it? God's mercy demands he forgives the sin of his people. Well, because of the sacrifice of Christ, God's justice demands it too. The whole character of God demands that he forgive the sin of his people.

Now, if that doesn't make you run to him and that doesn't make you beg him for mercy, I'm afraid it's because you've got a dead heart. Oh God, be pleased to let us hear. This is who God is. This is what he's like. This is who I need. I need him. I need this God who's both just and merciful, who delights to show mercy, who's abundant in goodness. That's who I need. Well, run to him and beg him for mercy. Run to him.

When Moses heard this, I'll tell you what his reaction was, and this is what I pray our reaction is, as we close this service, as we go home this evening, I pray we go home worshiping God. Look what Moses did. Moses heard all this. He understood it. In verse eight, Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth and worshiped.

There's no other God, little G. There's no other idol that men have made up, that men declare, that men try to use to coerce people into doing religious stuff that's worth worshiping. This God who's just described himself, what he's like, he described it himself to us here tonight, in this little corner of the world. God has descended to describe himself to us. God help us to worship him.

Oh, he's worthy, isn't he? He's worthy. All right, let's bow together. Our Father, how we thank you for who you are. And we're amazed that you would condescend to tell us who you are, to tell the sons of men who you are, that you would reveal yourself to the hearts of your people. Father, we're so thankful. Father, cause us to know you.

Cause us to trust you. Cause us to have our hearts be thrilled at the thought of being given faith in you. To trust you. To rest in you. Cause our hearts to be thrilled to think that you look upon us. That you condescend to hear our weak, sinful cries. Father, how we thank you. Give us, I pray, a heart of worship, a heart that needs you, pants after you, a heart that continually seeks you. Father, it's in Christ's name, for his glory and his sake we pray, amen. All right, now let's stand and sing number 489 together. 489. Glory to His name. Down at the cross where my Savior died. Down where for cleansing from sin I cried. There to my heart was the blood applied.

Glory to His name. Glory to His name. Glory to His name. There to my heart was the blood applied. Glory to His name. I am so wondrously saved from sin, Jesus so sweetly abides within, there at the cross where he took me in. Glory to His name. Glory to His name. Glory to His name. There to my heart was the blood applied. Glory to His name. O precious fountain that saves from sin, I am so glad I have entered in. There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean.

Glory to His name. Glory to His name. Glory to His name. There to my heart was the blood applied. Glory to His name. Come to this fountain so rich and sweet. Cast thy poor soul at the Savior's feet. Plunge in today and be made complete. Glory to His name. Glory to His name. Glory to His name. There to my heart was the blood applied. Glory to His name.
