The lamb is all the glory in
Emmanuel's land. We love it that way, don't we? I would like to read verses four
through six once again. Hebrews chapter six, verses four
through six. Four. It is impossible for those who
were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly
gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost and have tasted
the good word of God and the powers of the world to come if they shall fall away, to renew
them again unto repentance, seeing that they crucify to themselves
the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame. Now, I've entitled this message,
Though We Thus Speak. That helped me to understand
that the writer is saying something that he realizes is unusual,
is different. And he says, though we thus speak. Now, I want to make three introductory
comments before we get into this passage of scripture. Number
one. throw the whole Bible in a passage
to see what it means. It's not going to be contrary
to what the scripture teaches.
