Faith and Knowledge

I could read the Word of God forwards and backwards and have great knowledge of the words, but without the Holy Spirit who applies the Truth of the Scripture to my renewed heart of flesh, I would have no discernment to their meaning.

1 Cor 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned".

My faith and knowledge will never be concluded or over while I sojourn here, I pray to continue to grow in the 'grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ' according to His good pleasure. Let us rejoice together in this, our faith which was once delivered, and let us 'press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus' looking for the joy of the day when the faith shall be made sight and we shall know Him as He is!

Even so.....come quickly Lord Jesus!
