But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; - Romans 3:21

The Word of God distinctly reveals the righteousness of God from Genesis through Malachi (then, being witnessed by the law and the prophets) and from Matthew through Revelation (now, without the law, or since the law). The righteousness which the law and prophets spoke of, is the same righteousness which is now manifested in the person and appearing of Messiah. The proclamation of the Gospel is The Lord Our Righteousness (Jer 23:6). This is the Good News manifested to God’s children in every generation.

God the Son upheld and fulfilled every demand of divine justice to infinite satisfaction for his elect. God the Spirit, in revealing God’s righteousness to them in regeneration, sets before them a person rather than just a mere judicial transaction as theobject of faith—Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe (Rom 3:22). True God-given faith is not in the work of Jesus Christ, but in Jesus Christ who did the work. This distinction can only be comprehended experimentally (based on substance and evidence) (Heb 11:1) in the experience of saving grace.

The believer views the righteousness of God with a single eye upon Christ Jesus The Lord because he is the how, where, and whom the fullness of all righteousness is wrought, embodied and revealed.

“He is all my righteousness,
I stand complete in him and worship Him,
He is all my righteousness,
I stand complete in him and worship Him.”

“He is all my righteousness,
I stand complete in Him
And worship Christ the Lord,
Worship Him, Christ the Lord.”
