How can believers find assurance of their salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can find assurance of their salvation through the Word of God and their faith in Christ.

Assurance of salvation comes primarily from the Word of God. Scripture teaches that genuine believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), who serves as a guarantee of their inheritance. Furthermore, assurance is confirmed through personal faith in Christ and His redemptive work. According to 1 John 5:12, those who have the Son have life, and thus, a true belief in Christ serves as an internal witness to one's salvation. Believers are encouraged to reflect on these truths rather than their subjective feelings to gain reassurance of their eternal status.
