How can believers find assurance of their salvation?

Assurance of salvation comes primarily from the Word of God. Scripture teaches that genuine believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), who serves as a guarantee of their inheritance. Furthermore, assurance is confirmed through personal faith in Christ and His redemptive work. According to 1 John 5:12, those who have the Son have life, and thus, a true belief in Christ serves as an internal witness to one's salvation.
