How can God's purpose be seen in personal loss and tragedy?

Answered in 1 source

Personal loss can reveal God's larger purpose, encouraging faith and reliance on His sovereignty.

Personal tragedies often challenge our understanding of God's goodness and sovereignty. However, in moments like the death of a loved one, we see how God uses these experiences to strengthen our faith and the faith of those around us. For instance, in John 11:4, when Lazarus was sick, Jesus said that his illness 'is not unto death, but for the glory of God.' Such tragedies can be used by God to demonstrate His power, reveal His truth, and draw others closer to Him. As seen in my experience, the impact of my son's life and death stirred the community to reflect on God's sovereignty, showcasing how even amidst sorrow, there can be divine purpose.
