How can we be sure that we are clothed in Christ's righteousness?

Believers can be sure they are clothed in Christ's righteousness through faith in Him.

The assurance of being clothed in Christ's righteousness comes through faith in Him as our Savior. As Romans 10:9 explains, if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. This belief results in the imputed righteousness of Christ being applied to us. Therefore, we can rest assured in our acceptance with God, not based on our merit, but on the completed work of Christ and our union with Him.
