How can we be sure the gospel is truly inclusive?

Answered in 1 source

The gospel is inclusive because it offers salvation to anyone who acknowledges their need for Christ.

The inclusiveness of the gospel is affirmed in its message that salvation is available to everyone who genuinely calls upon the Lord (Romans 10:13). In contrast, false gospels can often leave certain groups of people feeling excluded due to their inability to comprehend complex doctrines or achieve a level of repentance that some teachings require. However, the gospel of sovereign grace invites all sinners to find refuge and hope without the prerequisites often imposed by human doctrines.

Additionally, the notion of 'whosoever' within the gospel encapsulates a universal call that stands firm against the backdrop of human inability. It is God's grace, not human effort, that enables individuals who recognize their sinful state to respond positively to the call of the gospel. Thus, the gospel's invitation is effectively inclusive at its core, stretching out to all those burdened by sin, assuring them of grace and mercy.
