How do we know attending church is part of God’s will?

Answered in 1 source

Attending church is seen as central to God's will because He commands His people not to forsake assembling together.

The gathering of believers in worship is prescribed in Scripture, as seen in the command to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25). This command reflects God's intention for His people to worship collectively, grow together, and encourage one another in faith. The regular assembly fosters a corporate experience of grace that is vital for spiritual health. Historically, the church has been a means through which God dispenses grace, and therefore, attending church is seen as obeying God's will in promoting spiritual well-being in ourselves and in the community of faith.
