How do we know Christ is the true bread from heaven?

In John 6, Jesus distinguishes Himself as the true bread from heaven, in contrast to the manna that sustained the Israelites in the wilderness. He reveals that while the manna was temporary, He offers eternal sustenance that fulfills the deepest spiritual needs of humanity (John 6:32-35). When the Israelites craved quail, they failed to value the divine sustenance they were receiving daily. Jesus emphasizes that He, as the bread of life, provides everything necessary for spiritual health and life, thus calling believers to trust in Him entirely for their needs (Philippians 4:19). The true bread nourishes the soul and is only found in Christ, confirming our need for Him above any earthly desires.
