How do we know Christ loves us?

Answered in 4 sources

The love of Christ for sinners is clearly demonstrated in the Gospels, particularly when He expressed compassion for the rich young ruler.

The love of Christ towards sinners is a profound truth exemplified in His dealings with those seeking Him. For instance, in the account of the rich young ruler, Jesus 'beholding him, loved him.' This love reflects Christ's compassion for our struggles and weaknesses. Despite our rebelliousness and ignorance, Christ's heart is wide, offering love and salvation to all who would come to Him. The Gospels provide ample evidence of this love; Jesus, who wept over Jerusalem, still invites the lost to find refuge in Him. Thus, we can be assured that His love extends even to the chief of sinners, provided they respond to the call of the Gospel.
