How do we know Christ's death is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ's death is sufficient because it completely satisfied God's justice regarding sin and obtained eternal redemption for His people.

Christ's sacrificial death established the righteousness necessary for our justification (Romans 4:25). His death was predetermined by God to fulfill the requirements of justice for those He represented. In Hebrews 9:12, it's stated that Christ entered the holy place with His own blood, securing eternal redemption. His death addressed the legal guilt of His people thoroughly, ensuring that those for whom He died cannot face punishment. Thus, His completed work guarantees salvation for those chosen in Him.
