How do we know Christ's sacrifice was acceptable to God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice was acceptable to God because He was sinless and fulfilled the requirements of the law perfectly.

We know Christ's sacrifice was acceptable to God due to the nature of who He is: fully God and fully man. In Hebrews 4:15, we are reminded that Jesus was tempted in every way yet without sin, making Him the perfect sacrifice. No mere human could satisfy God’s justice for sin; only the God-man, who lived a flawless life, could take on the burden of sin. When He died, His death was not just a martyrdom but a deliberate offering to fulfill God’s law, as detailed in Hebrews 9:11-12. Here we see that Christ, by His own blood, entered the Holy of Holies to secure eternal redemption for us, clearly demonstrating that His sacrifice met the divine requirements for atonement.
