How do we know Christ's sufficiency is true?

Answered in 11 sources

Christ's sufficiency is evidenced by His ability to meet all spiritual needs and fulfill every promise of God, as seen in the scriptures.

We know that Christ's sufficiency is true because Scripture consistently affirms this principle. In Him, 'are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge' (Colossians 2:3), indicating that He is the source of all understanding related to God's will. Furthermore, the Apostle Paul assures us that 'all the promises of God in Him are yea and amen' (2 Corinthians 1:20), confirming that every promise of God finds its fulfillment in Christ. Thus, anything we seek—whether it is forgiveness, wisdom, grace, or the strength to live a godly life—can be found in the person of Jesus Christ. His perfection and completeness make Him sufficient in every aspect of salvation and daily living.
