How do we know Christ's work allows us to be in God's presence?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection opened the way for believers to enter God’s presence.

The work of Christ is foundational for understanding how we can be in the presence of God. Before Christ, access to God was restricted to the high priest, who had to perform elaborate rituals for atonement. However, when Jesus died, He declared, 'It is finished', and the veil of the temple was torn. This act signifies that through Jesus' sacrifice, we gain access to the Father without fear or restriction. Hebrews 10:19-22 states that we can draw near to God with confidence because of the blood of Christ. Therefore, believers experience a new and living way to approach God and enjoy communion with Him.
